[Q] Cyanogenmod 10.2 Bluetooth Issue - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

Hello,
I have worked with other ROMs before, but i am a completely new to Cyanogenmod. I Installed CM 10.2 Stable on my SGH-T989 as i found the stock ROM to be very slow. I am happier with the speed but there seems to be a terrible Bluetooth bug. It only works occasionally and when it doesn't work, it wont turn on until i reboot the phone. I have searched around and found a couple of other posts regarding the same issue but didn't seem to see a fix or even much of a response. I would appreciate any help, either for a fix or if there is a better version of CM i should be using with my phone.
Thanks!

[Q] CyanogenMod RC13 for Desire HD?

Hey so I've tried searching around to see if this is possible but there doesn't seem to be any specific thread about this. I noticed that Motorola Droid and Milestone are running cyanogenmod 7 RC13 and i was wondering if it was possible to flash that rom on the Desire HD. I am running cyanogenmod 7.1.0 RC1 right now because I think it is the latest for the Desire HD but i was having problems with the home button (it stops working after a while) and the screen randomly shuts off sometimes. If someone could please help me I would really appreciate it.
Nope, definitely wouldn't work. If you want something newer than the last release candidate you could try one of the latest nightly builds; I've been using them over the last couple of weeks and I haven't had any issues at all. Got to be worth a try at least to see whether it solves your issues, no?
thanks, i did try the nightly build yesterday and it seemed to work fine until today afternoon so i'm still not sure what the problem is. and yeah i ended up downloading the RC13 build just to see if it would work but it doesnt sadly. Hopefully they will update it soon to RC2 atleast and come out with a CM7 build for the htc sensation. Any new info about the home button not working would be much appreciated.

[Q] 4.2 Bluetooth issues still present?

I've been ignoring custom roms for about 6 months after I tried one previously and found the bluetooth bug. Just curious if this has found a fix at this point? I'd love to run a CM10.1 rom, but bluetooth audio is a must have for me.

the issues from 6 months ago have been gone for sometime now.
fantastic, thank you.
Life's been pretty crazy so i'm out of the loop on where everything has progressed. Once i get AT&T to warranty my phone for the GPS issues i'm having i'll try out one of the new builds.
Bluetooth audio has been working fine
But from my experience there have been problems with Bluetooth dialing.
A recent update of slimbean (version 6) seems to have corrected the problem.

I don't know that the issue really is fixed in 4.2.2. Doesn't seem to matter what ROM I run (I've tried CM, Carbon, AOKP), I can't get Bluetooth to work at all. It won't scan/find any of my devices or even turn on. I've resorted going back to stock rooted.
Has anyone found a work around or fix?
If bluetooth worked, it wont be 4.2.2. Best to go back to 4.1.x.

once in the past, when the CM roms were having bluetooth problems, I tried a different kernel and that fixed issues. The BMS Kernel is pretty stable and great performance/battery. you might give that a try.

[Q]m919 gs4 cm10.1 nightlies speakerphone mic

I am currently running cyanogenmod 10.1.2 nightlies on galaxy s4 m919 tmo.
Everything is running perfectly fine except for a slight phone lock delay on and off.
My major concern is the phone's mic will not work when it is in speakerphone. When it is in normal call, it has no problems whatsoever.
I have done countless searches and was unable to find a problem or a fix like mine. If anyone has any information on how to fix this, please help me. I have reflashed it to stock roms and it works completely fine.
I will give you any required information if needed.

[Q] CM 10.2 Incoming/ outgoing calls muted speaker issues

So I have a CM 10.2 on my T989 Hercules for a while, and since couple of days every time I pickup the call or try to call back I can't hear jack sh*t unless I reboot the phone. Is this something that can be fixed or should I be looking for a new ROM ? There is so many of them I'm getting confused :silly:
i have this issue as well, but i am using pa 4.6 beta 1. any fix to this?
same problem here on mine and my girlfriends phones (Hercules) on either CM10.2 or PA 4.6 beta. restarting didn't help for the CM but did on the PA rom. only thing is, I don't know whats causing it. my phone could ring and when I answer I hear nothing and they don't hear me and vice versa when I call out. yes, both were clean installs on both phones with double wipes before flash with either roms.
Same Issue!
I am actually getting the same exact issue, at times I cannot hear anything on either end and the only remedy is to reboot and it only fixes it for a little bit.
Anyone know anything about this?
I've no issue with PA 4.5 Beta 1 (most stable in my case) nor 4.4 Final. Ran into the same issue with 4.5 Beta 4 once tonight but I was playing with disabling google play services and install the new Hangout.
I am curious too...anybody have a working solution yet?
I feel I've run into this problem before on jb. I'm curious to know which BASEBAND in installed on your devices.
I think there is a newer radio (modem) needed for jellybean and odd sound/wifi/data issues arise if you're using an older radio.
I'm using UVMC6 on CM11.

I just flashed CM11 ROM from Sultanxda on my 2 T989's I have. One is having this issue the other is not. They were purchased at the same time. Not sure why this is happening. I have also had this issue on the previous CM10.2 version.
I have updated the Radio on the one that didn't work, but alas it still does not fix it. If the phone is rebooted, it magically works for a while.
I'm hoping that @Sultanxda will have a look at this issue.

[SOLVED] GPS problems with CM 13 on HTC One M9 (Verizon)

I recently had some battery issues that others have shared since MM was released, and decided to ditch the stock rom, all the garbage apps, and see if that wiped the persistent wake/radio offender. It worked - battery is as good as day 1 again. Now, however, I cannot get a GPS lock. I've seen posts about fixing GPS issues with CM but they are 3-4 years old, and they don't seem to help me.
Is there a problem with the GPS libraries in CM13? I'm using the 0716 Nightly.
Thanks!

The nightly I used is 7/16, along with the gapps nano package, and then reinstalled all my apps afterward. Now that I have the GPS working, everything seems to run great. I still have to test if GPS stays locked after the screen sleeps with something like runkeeper, but I've had no problems so far. It's way smoother than the most recent stock OTA I had prior to rooting, and it fixed a huge battery drain issue I had.
Can't complain so far - still learning some of the differences, first time using CM since gingerbread.

Cyanogenmod 13, it was the nightly release from 7/16. Is this the same GPS issue you have - are you using CM?

Sheesh, what is it about GPS being unstable on non stock ROMs? I remember having a Sprint Galaxy Nexus II five years ago with CM... 8? 9? And this was a constant thing, to the point that people would recommend flashing stock, getting a GPS lock, and then reflashing CM just to fix.
