Anyone who thought about exchanging the Stock LG Lollipop Lockscreen through AOSP Lockscreen? I like the handling much more than original LG Lockscreen.
As far as is know, the keyguard is responsible for that. Maybe, someone already tried to exchange those apk's? I searched for keyguard on my ChupaChups ROM, but can't find it. And my next question would be: is it possible to just exchange keyguard through AOSP?
I don't know the answer but an alternative I've used in the past is WidgetLocker in the Play Store.

I've heard there are other ways to change the lockscreen other than Lockbot and Widgetlocker (both get forced closes & devel's don't have any solutions). I'm running the EC05+ ROM and just want to change from the stock TW lockscreen to the HTC sense lockscreen which I have got the APK from another thread. Any suggestions or is this an impossible task?
I heard there was HTC sense ports being worked on, but none were ever published. The lockscreen information is stored in the androidpolicy.jar, I don't think we have an app (other than maddoggin's) that can change the lockscreen.
Check the Themes and Apps section of the epic forums.
we have all the normal google lockscreens built into the framework, which is how they were enabled by maddogins port.... htc lockscreen would be a major overtaking
even if i have the htc sense lockscreen apk?

Yes, the htclockscreen.apk relies on rosie.apk(sense itself) and other various framework files to work. Not just an installable app.

OK, well a little disappointing, but otherwise sufficient. Thank you all for answering my question.
No problem. That's what we're here for

Hi all!
Coming from a Samsung Galaxy SII Skyrocket, I recently upgraded to a Galaxy SIII (Rogers).
On my Skyrocket, I had installed CM10. One thing I liked with CM10 was the lockscreen. Two things I liked with the lockscreen and that I'm not able to replicate on TouchWiz's stock lockscreen are:
- the ability to skip songs when long-pressing the volume rocker;
- the "Profiles" feature allowed me bypass Exchange administrator security policies -- my sysadmin forces me to use a PIN security on lockscreen when I add my Exchange email account to my smartphone, and using the "Profiles" I would be able to bypass this setting.
I would like to stick to stock ROM (Rogers JB) for the moment on my new SGS3 (though I already rooted it). I would like to know if it's possible to install and use CM10 or AOSP lockscreen on stock ROM? Or is there a way to have at least the music controls on stock TW lockscreen?
Thanks for your hints and help!
Anybody know how to get the AOSP stock jellybean lockscreen for GS4 T-mobile? I don't want to flash the entire Google Edition Rom, I just want the lockscreen, I know there are ways for the At&T version, but I can't find any for T-Mobile except using the Holo locker app, which is too buggy.
Thanks.
HI friends! I have a question.
Unlike the lock screen of AOSP ROMS, the notifications on the lock screen stock system can not be expanded.
Is there any way to extend the notifications on lock screen?
Thanks a Lot!

I have the same issue, running Cloudy's i want to have the AOSP lockscreen, searched alot and no solution to be found atm.
Only workaround would be going AOSP rom, i did that but was not satisfied with Cam quality so went back to Cloudy's. if not mistaken the LG lockscreen are the Keyguard APK's, if i disable them will it run AOSP lockscreen (builtin) or will it cause weird issues?
Hello,
I am looking for a lockscreen replacement for my G3 that supports smart lock with Bluetooth and live wallpapers (I am trying to set Muzei Live Wallpaper also on my lockscreen, and not only in the home screen).
Any help? Are there any? Been searching through the forums but I can't find anything detailed up to now.
Thanks in advance.
