So today I got an update for my european LG G3 (I already had 5.0 this was just an 90MB update) and I did my update but suddenly my free space storage got really small. When I go into setting I see that my apps consume 4.71 GB but my apps actually consumes 1.71GB. What im I missing? Thanks a lot!
PS: My LG its still stock, not rooted
PS2: I did a factory reset and everything is back to normal, still no idea why its happened

Hey guys I've had this issue where regardless of what music app I use, a few seconds after I turn my screen off (i.e. lock the device) the music will stop playing until I turn it back on.
Anyone have any idea why? I'm on version 10e (latest according to PC Suite and OTA Checker), and I'm stock unrooted.
Other than that the phone's been amazing and blazing fast, even outspeeding my M8 GPE sometimes

Also, when charging, this problem doesn't occur. This further adds to the mystery...
Also, it happens if I have music local or streaming, so that rules out network issues.

UPDATE: OK so after messing with about every single setting on the phone, I tried switching it back to Dalvik. Fixed everything 100%. Whole phone is faster, from opening apps to web pages.
Very strange... Not sure why there would be so much ART incompatibility, but I guess it's 4.4.2 and not .3 or .4. If anyone else has has this problem (including an inability to wake the phone up without a few tries), check your RunTime. I'm hoping it'll be better next update, but for now this'll have to do.

Hi there!
I have exactly the same problem since I updated the phone to Lollipop (D85520A) but before that I didn't have that problem. Firstly I found this when I updated to D85519H and then I performed another update to the current version (D85520A) and it didn't help. The smartphone is way better, but this problem is really ennoying me.
ART is not available on Lollipop and my phone went only for one day to ART mode and it was a pain in the ass (when I still had 4.4.2) and then I switched back to normal.
I am thinking about to a factory reset and reinstall Android 5.0 on CSE mode AGAIN and see what happens, but I think it won't help at all.
Do you have any idea of what could I do in order to solve this problem?
Thank you in advance.
Fixed
Hi there!
Just a short update.
Like I mentioned before, I got this problem when I updated my phone with the new Lollipop FW (D85519H) and then I tried to perform another update using the D85520A but the problem was still there. So I believe that the update didn't fix the issue from the previous update so I performed another clean update using the same last one and the problem disappeared.
Thank you anyway.

Probably CSE flash with this method: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089
Hello all
I have a GTN7100 running Phantom v11 N7100XXUFNI1 Aug 29 2014 3.0.31 kernel
KitKat 4.4.2
After seeing how fluid Lollipop is on this device it seems almost natural to want nothing else - Considering with my current ROM i have a memory issue, After booting, I have 850mb free from 2GB.
Within an hour i have 250mb, And everything becomes horribly slow. Constantly having to clear ram, Eventually this does nothing and it sits at 1.68GB ram usage with 85mb free.
Basically a slideshow. Forcing me to hard reboot.
Now I have 3 issues
1. Im running TWRP 2.8.0.1 And im worried ill have a soft brick, As i had this issue installing my current rom and had to do a bunch of sniffing around for answers which was very frustrating
2. I have a 64gb SD card i heavily rely on, And several other CustomRoms have had issues with my Card - Originally i had to buy a new 64GB card as for some stupid reason my previous one was wrecked after installing KitKat - It simply couldnt be read, Tried a bunch of tricks on my PC with it and to no avail. And this isnt something i want to go through again!
3. I have around 10k Text messages i need to backup - And upon coming to KitKat i lost over 50k messages as it was easy to back them up -- But to this day completely impossible to restore [ Phone locks up 80% of the way through, I left it running for almost a solid 24hr] And i need 'All' my Txts and what not restored easily after upgrading -- which programs like SMS Backup and Restore just cant offer as it seems anything over 5k messages just becomes a BS waiting game that never ends, And if it does end - No Messaging apps will open, None will repopulate conversations, And im forced to wipe everything clean as i was with my current ROM.
Lastly I apologize for just how No0B i sound, I have done alot of digging here, Found some solutions. But then theres things that contradict those fixes and confuse me!
I am over the memory leaks of my current ROM and to be honest after seeing a friend with his Nexus 6 running lollipop im in LOVE with the OS. Its beautifully simple and so fluid!
Hoping someone here can give me some simple tips on how to easily backup txts - Restore them so that messaging apps actually repopulate properly. - Can tell me if my SD card will work properly, And finally will my memory woes be solved? Or will Lollipop have even more issues with memory leaks?
Any help you guys can give is hugely appreciated!
Many thanks!
Okay Ive upgraded to Lollipop - Got stuck in a loop. Tried 2 other ROMS, Both looped. Found a 3rd Lollipop rom, Which is working.
Backed up my 10k txts, Restored them.
And agian, No messaging app opens anymore ughhhhhhh..
Just opens, Then closes. Tried 5 apps off the appstore.. Same thing...
When i went to KitKat and had this issue no one replied for a fix, Ended up having to wipe all my messages and just deal with it.
Can someone help this time around plleeassee??
I really need these txts
All help appreciated
is anyone having the same issue as me,
i came from kitkat and flashed v20h stock rom and supersu as per the instructions, everything works fine except my lg apps such as quickmemo+ and lg remote cannot be downloaded using the update centre,
i managed to find the apk and install, and it just doesn't let me update them either,
anyone had this problem before?
Same Boat.
Any solutions? I have the same problems after flashing to Lollipop also. However, I did make a mistake of wiping "internal storage." This is the glitch after that screwup. I resolved the other issues (no softkeys and no notification bar) by flashing Kitkat THEN LP. This issue remains, so I restored LG apps from Ti backups. but they will NOT download and/or update. They do work.
This all started because my 1st LP flash self destructed. It kinda feels like a permission thing. I am hesitant to do another reset (the right one). But I don't want to go forward until I fix this. I think the reset must do something to the LG App Updates app when you fist boot. I think it must see some stuff from internal storage that I had zapped. Since it was't there and now fails.
I know we can't be only two. problem seems rare though. So far.
I am on Android 6.0 stock (V30b) because CyanogenMod was so slow after awhile, so I thought it was CyanogenMods problem. So as soon as an official LG G3 rom of Android 6.0 was out, I jumped into. But now I have the same behaviour. It is slow! Sometimes when I type, it takes a while for the phone to catchup. Also when I am on the phone with someone and then I switch apps into something, the phone might reboot.
Is there something I can do? phone is not rooted! Or maybe it is the fault of Android 6.0?
Did you flash kdz?

Hi All,
was very happy with P2 and decided to go for Nougat update, phone was great, no issue after, no errors, I was impressed, then updated to 233, and again phone was just fine, battery life was even better, Bluetooth was working better, very happy, but after one week phone gone crazy, sim management, android system and media keep eating battery, tried wipe cache in recovery, no help, decided to do hard reset, no help, but now phone can't find any music on sd card, and even better, there in no any tones, alarms, anything left on the phone, any advise please?? many thanks..
I'm sorry this happened to you. Did you do a hard reset after upgrading to s233?
Hard reset on this model basically means you wiped the whole internal memory clean. Are you sure the phone is supposed to find any files when it's not?
Yes, I done it, tried reflash 232 but always fail on 50%, when I reflash 233 let me do it, but is only small ota 78mb, not changing anything, and factory reset again, not repairing anything..
You're on custom ROM? I've read about the SIM-managment drain on some of them.
NO, I am on stock Nougat Rom S232 and had OTA update S233, and after week phone for some reason gone crazy, and I am trying to work out why, and if someone somwhere got Full S233 rom, not just OTA, which I could reflash in Lenovo recovery...
When I reinstalled full stock S233 , and problem was fixed, it must be something with sd card, and I finded problem, it was corrupted photos and video file on sd card. all back to normal SOT 12-13 hour per charge..
i had no issues what so ever as i wiped everything before and after the update if you look on the forum there is a way to downgrade to mm (thats what i think you should do then wipe everything hard reset through recovery) leave your device for a couple days then re-upgrade to N do another wipe through the recovery option and it should fix any issues (i know its a lot of hastle but its the best way to stop issues)
