Hello Nexus Community,
I just became a Nexus 5x Owner after half a year of Sony Z5c horror
Of course i opted in as a beta tester for Nougat. I didn't use the phone with Marshmallow at all, so i don't know whether its a hardware or a software error i got.
I cannot connect to my cars bluetooth. Other devices can connect to my car and my Nexus can connect to other BT devices. But i can't pair it with my car. It just doesnÄt do anything when tapping "SEAT-BT" in the bluetooth settings.
Any idea?
Hi All
Recently got some wireless headphones for the first time.
They are a pair of Jabra Revo Wireless, and I'm on OOS 3.26.
I'm getting random cuts over bluetooth, and on different apps (Spotify and Pocket Casts).
I'm inclined to think it's a problem with the headphones (going to get a loan of a different phone to try them with something else that's not the OP3) but just wanted to make sure that this isn't an issue that happens with other people?
Thanks!
My Nexus 6P updated to 7.1 last night and the Pixel came today, so this likely is a 7.1 issue.
I have a 2012 GM Equinox that was working great with teh Nexus 6P pre 7.1, Never tried it with 7.1 because it came after I was home and had no reason to be in the car and the new Pixel came today.
Neither will work with bluetooth, although both say that they are paired, neither connects unless I am in the Android pairing screens. Once off those, the connection goes away, the light on the car goes away, no connection. This was tested on both phones, and the results are the same all the time. The car sees each phone, pairs with each phone, but the magic that happens when you connect doesn't happen.
Other devices are connecting via BT (such as my fitbit) but the car pairs but never connects (again, unless on the android pair screen or if I use the car and select a phone, it'll connect for a second but goes away).
Have seen other complaints, thought I'd add mine to the world
I have an Acadia and mine works perfectly
I have a 2014 GMC Sierra and everything is working perfectly. Calls and music have been flawless so far.

I appreciate that, but on the google pixel help groups, there are a bunch of us with the issue. We all describe it the same as well.

I see someone else posted that issue as well. Maybe is because I after market radio in my car
I have a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and my 6p and Pixel XL. They both pair and work fine with the stock radio.

So weird, I just posted the exact same problem in a new thread just below this so mods please delete mine. I have the exact same issues. Both new Pixel and Pixel XL will not fully pair. My truck is a 201o Silverado, the pairing process goes smoothly, the truck says it is paired but the phone does not pair, let's go Google. BTW the XL pairs with my BT speaker in my house so not sure what's wrong

I had a similar problem with my Hyundai Genesis 2011. The problem is the Nexus and pixel phones with Android 7+ can't seem to automatically detect the cars Bluetooth. So on my car I went to phone and clicked add where it tells you your cars Bluetooth password and add device then refresh Bluetooth pairing on the phone and it should appear.
Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
Thanks, the phone is showing as paired on both the phone itself and on the car, it just never actually connects after pairing, does nothing with contacts nor keeps a connection longer than 4 seconds. It'll say Pixel XL then swap to Onstar Handsfree and the bluetooth connected indicator light simply goes out.
I have the same or exceptionally similar issue... Some better detail on my issue:
Phone: Pixel XL
Car Head Unit: Pumpkin Android Head Unit
Bluetooth worked perfectly with my Note 5.
Pixel detects the "Car Kit"
The head unit detects the Pixel
They pair fine and appear to connect. However after just a few seconds the bluetooth on the phone shows
"Car Kit (No Phone)" - Connected ..... It then disconnects, reconnects and repeats.
Cleared Bluetooth cache on head unit - Can't find a bluetooth cache on the Pixel XL.
No idea where to go from here.
Hi all,
I got a Huawei Smart Watch a few weeks ago to use with my Nexus 6P which I've had for a while.
For some reason when the watch is connected to the Nexus 6P with Bluetooth Audio switched on in the Watch, it won't connect to the Car's Bluetooth when the car is switched on.
Is anyone having this same issue? is there anyway of fixing it apart from turning off the Bluetooth Audio function on the watch?
Surely the phone could priorities the Car's Bluetooth. I don't seem to see this issue with either other watches or phones.
Hello everyone
A few days ago no one has been able to hear me when I'm on call via car Bluetooth. When connected the audio/calls settings look as they should be.
I tried my husband's s22 and he doesn't have any issues with my car so it's come down to my phone.
