So I ****ed up, ayyy. I was in TWRP, and after updating it wouldn't mount the system, some people said try a wipe and I wiped everything, every thing. Nothing is there anymore, no rom no no system no nothing. So all I need to do is flash a rom, problem is I can't. I try mounting the USB Storage and it doesn't show up on my computer and If i check the terminal it says "E: Unable to Find Storage Partition to mount to USB" so IDK what to do. It doesn't show up on my computer, so I can't format it to fat32 or whatever like everyone is saying, I'm LOST.
Is there anything I can do?

You could do it with ADB, but if you accidentally wiped the /data/media folder in recovery is think you may have to flash a factory image. Are you familiar with ADB and Fastboot commands?

I have the same problem with the Wifi after installing cm-10.2.0 (but not with the sound), have you found any solution?
Guys instead of spreading your issues in every thread...
1 if you have e975 or korean f180
2 using recovery format syatem, cache, data, data/media /internal storage
3 flash the ROM again without gapps, if everything works you are the problem.
You need adb push or adb side load commands after this..

I formated everything you sayed (except /internal storage because i couldn't find it) and tryed with adb push, but the phone could'nt find any zip file, then i tried with sideload, it worked and installed cm 10.2.0 RC1, and when i rebooted it stays in the starting animation of cm. Then i tried with a different version of cm (10.2.0 stable) but when i reboot it still have the same problem.
Also, when i try to enter recovery or bootloader with adb it tells me "error: device unauthorized. please check the confirmation dialog on your device" i just can do it manually with the buttons.

If you still got issues, flash the stock rom for your phone after formating system partition. After that use freegee and try again

I did all the process you told before again and now is working perfectly with the wifi. Thank you very much for being patient
I followed Hashcode's guide to install the OtterX partition scheme and updated TWRP to 2.8.2.0, and did it successfully, But now I can't figure out how to copy a ROM to the device, I've already tried to use the USB mount(nothing happens) Already tried adb push(unauthorized device) Already tried adb sideload(closes). I am at a loss of what I'm supposed to do, I have already installed the Kindle Fire usb drivers, and my device is found in adb, but it says it's unauthorized, I have no way of booting into a ROM, is there anything I can do?

Well, I just tried to do the emmc corruption fix and now it won't boot into anything other than fastboot, I believe it was under Kindle Fire>ADB Composite device
Alright, nevermind, I got it flashed back to twrp 2.8.2.0, now it is shown as an unrecognized device, I'm on the TWRP homescreen, where do I go from here

If you can mount, mount to your computer and copy the Rom and GApps of your choice, then wipe everything but internal storage and install the Rom. If you can't mount, then you are going to have to connect your kindle to your computer after selecting boot to bootloader and adb push the Rom and GApps of your choice, then shut down your kindle and reboot to TWRP, wipe everything but internal storage and install the Rom.

I can't get the Kindle to mount usb storage, But I can enable MTP and see it with "adb devices" But when I try to "adb push" a rom, or anything, it says to check the confirmation dialog on the device, which is not present.

When I used the ADB Installer that I mentioned in the post above, I never needed to get a confirmation dialogue. Maybe you should try it and post your results. It most probably won't overwrite your 15 second adb/fastboot installation.

fastboot flash zip rom.zip should work.
Edit: Don't try the above method of flashing in fastboot. Just flash the previous recovery in fastboot: fastboot flash recovery otterx-twrp-2.7.1.0-recovery.img with the otterx-twrp-2.7.1.0-recovery.img in the adb/fastboot folder.

I have the same issues @sd_shadow . My Twrp version is v2.8.1.0 . Bootloader version is v2.05. PC version is 8.1.
Also, the device manager on the PC labels the Kindle when mounted as 'Amazon Otterx'. I followed the steps up till wiping partitions in recovery. But when it comes to pushing cm or gapps, I am unable to do it.
Thanks in advance.

[Video] Flashing TWRP in OtterX bootloader
Started a Thread [How To] Fix Lollipop Install Errors, Partition sizes, Unable to Mount System... with some possible fixes for those having issues since converting to OtterX, with pushing files, failure to mount system errors when installing Lollipop Roms...
During clearing cache using stock recovery. Not the usual clearing cache it takes 5 mins so i think i need to reboot it by press and holding the power button. When i start my phone, after the boot logo, instead of the usual loading screen, sleeping andriod logo appeared and i stuck on it.
Please help me. Any suggestion and recommendation is highly appreciated. TIA.

it says <waiting for the device>
I did the exact same thing not realizing it can take up to 15 minutes for the cache to clear. What I did to recover was boot into fastboot. Get my PC to recognized my phone. The ran the fast boot tool from the command line. From there I fixed my cache partition by running the fastboot erase cache command. After that I downloaded the stock recovery for the latest build then flashed that. After that I was then able to boot into adb mode from stock recovery. Then I downloaded the factory image of the latest build for my model of phone from Asus website it was around 1gb. From there I placed it into my adb directory and ran the adb sideload nameOfImage.zip and that side loaded the image back onto my phone fully recovering it. And nothing was last everything remained intact. I did not need to do a full wipe or anything and I was back up and running.
