No development on the note edge for AT&T Yet????
I'm dying for a root. Had the phone since December and I love it but man a root would be god like. Been checking everyday since December, nothing yet unfortunately but I still have hope.

I think it's kinda bull**** for the mods to even spend this much effort closing threads on a phone as old as ours. It won't accomplish much more than to get people to leave XDA.

totally agreed
i mean devs are doing a great job still supporting our device but mods are clsing their threads fr nt mentioning the kernel source.
we don't even have kernel source yet!! for gods sake!!
These threads are being closed due to non compliance with GPL rules. These are not just xda rules. First step I took was to contact the dev individually and ask for them to comply with providing a link to kernel source and after days of waiting there was no responses. So the next step was closing their threads till they complied. These rules are stated on xda and are strictly enforced. Some of the devs have responded and stated that they no longer support their rom thread and to close it as well. Oh and BTW this thread is now closed too

Well actually it all depending on sprint. Not samsung, I would say march at latest since we just had jb update not to along ago. But hopefully we get soon, and its not like in the epic we just got left behind because of new phones.

I would think relatively the soon the leaks and update coming out for the epic touch are all 4.1.2 based. And I was running it for the last month made me contemplate upgrading to the s3

I signed up for tmo's jump program and really want to upgrade. I have been wanting a note 2 but also want the S4 features. What would everyone suggest to do?
Get the S4 the features are more up to date or wait on the Note 3 that is supposed to come out in Sept or Oct.

The galaxy nexus and nexus 7 threads are closed. What happened?
Maybe Q+A section got too filled up with noobs who are bootlooping as a result of using it and not actually knowing what they're doing? Lol
Just a guess lol idk does he has a g+ or twitter you could check?

Mskip toolkit hasn't been updated since jellybean 4.2.1, wugfresh toolkit is a better alternative, constantly updated for newer android versions an no need to donate to get toolkit updates, the same day 4.3 launched on gnex wugfresh toolkit was updated for it.

Can someone create a rom base off 4.4 kit kat for SM-N900T. THANKS
Sent from my SM-N900T using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Really, 4.4 will be pretty much the same as 4.3 budd
Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
Really? Do you really think no one is working on a 4.4 rom for the Note 3?
Well, it'll be here eventually, just be sure to donate that $20 to the first 4.4 rom that hits.
Give that to slendy! He needs it!

I got 5 on it for the next week. Expires on 17th

Plus you can get apps from it already . Although Google home is quite slow compared to nova and apex. If it's speed up then maybe .

Cm will have out soon I think note 2 has it. Now how can port it??
Sent from my SM-N900T using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
First off, this does not belong in development
Second, this is not a bounty.
A bounty is posted by a trusted member for a significant development achievement
A bounty also has a running total of pledges in the OP
Moved to General. I do not believe asking for a ROM which will definitely come sooner or later is a good subject for a bounty
But I will not close this yet

^this
Devs will bring a 4.4 rom when ready, sounds like somebody should have gotten the n5 instead.
I know some of you will say "but it's okay to ask and hope this will hurry up development". I see it as a slap to devs faces like their not already trying or busy enough with their lives.

No harm in asking I guess but just think if you want a good rom, a good rom dev will always wait a little while untill all the issues and little bugs are found exposed and worked out before releasing their own. You dont want to put a rom out there and have a thousand pages of my airview is not working, my wifi calling caller id is not working, my d% $ k is not working, you get the point. And issues there always is when a new release hits. So with that being said 4.3 is still pretty fresh for us anyway and lets enjoy it a bit before we jump into that delicious candy bar ? everyone is itching to eat so bad. Cant say I wouldnt flash it if there was one tho☻. Just sayin

Offering $20 to a hard working developer for a ROM is insulting in my book. That's just my humble opinion. Plus it doesn't seem there was more to contribute than asking for something. I'm not one to get on people, but I'm not a developer and I was annoyed that someone is offering $20 for hours of work (not too mention they are doing it for free anyway). Are you going to give $20 to every 4.4 Kit Kat ROM? My gut tells me no.
I think this thread should be closed.
OK, as the posts following fellow moderator KennyGlass123 clearly have not proven to be contributory towards the furthering of development. This thread is now closed.
