I am using RVR 's Resurrection Remix ® Lollipop v5.3.6 [Update 20150224] on Daily basis and this ROM according to me is only one that makes this device even worthy of using else this device lags forever....

In My opinion, Blisspop v1.6 is the best rom i've used so far, the only issue is that it only supports single sim, other than that, its the best updated rom so far

Blisspop v 2.0 works perfectly and you can enable dual sim safely.
Using it as a daily driver since V 1.9

I've used Blisspop till v1.6 and reverted back to stock.
Well maybe in v2.0 they added Dual sim functionality, thanks for updating my info

RichyE how does one enable dual sim for blisspop. This ron is good, but the one I flashed lacks dual some functionality.

I prefer RVR's resurrection remix. It's highly customizable as well as prevents my phone from lagging.
But while using BlissPop, the battery life was better.

I tried the resurrection but the last blisspop has more feauters and nice extra.
Add blocker
Camera that can safe directly to sd
Kernel/buildprop editor.
And more custom settings to change
Using it for a month and no lag and my Battery is at 34% with 48 hours and normal usage
Taking photo's, chat, make call etc

I guess it's time I tried back BlissPop.
But Ad blocker and Kernel/buildprop editor are available in Resurrection Remix too if I am not mistaken.

Blisspop is my favorite, but due to some bugs (screen too sensitive, and such...) I reverted back to Ressurection ROM. Then again, RR has a bigger battery drain. But it's more usable for me.

In my opinion the best roms : Resurrrextion remix lp, Blisspop rom and TouchWiz apocalypse. Thank you ☺

I just tried Gummy and Slimkat yesterday. Gummy was ok, but no real improvement. I had AOKP 4.2.2 before. If anything, the navigation seemed to be more choppy. So I installed Slimkat and it's great! It's really really smooth and polished. No bugs that I've seen yet. It's fast and still has some of the customization that I wanted. Give it a try. Let me know if you try any other ones.

x2 on playfulgod's rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2525351 I have been using the nightley downloads to this rom (ocasionally) and then update to the latest gapps file.
what about the battery life on this ROM ?
Cmetal or omnimetal are great ROMs, I've been on every Cmetal release, with superram kernel, easily get about 3 hours screen time and 10% battery to spare! Been my daily driver for about a month, tried other 4.4 Roms as well, but came back to Cmetal
sent from my GNEX running cMetal 11 Rom
Latest OmniMetal is awesome, great battery life
Could you, please, provide a link with this ROM ?
And by the way, is there a noticeble difference between Android 4.2.2 and 4.4 ?
Thank you

HUGE difference
how about a kitkat rom that has a working HD video playback ? most of the roms I tried has problems with HD video playback
I'm referring to the choppy or rubberband effects
Official CM 11 is most stable for me an will always have the best support an regular updates daily to keep it ahead of the rest.
I've tried Omnimetal, cMetal, SlimKat, Beanstalk, and CM11. Without question, Omnimetal is the fastest, it's what im running right now, I have two problems with it, there are very few aesthetic customizations (which includes convenience like quicksettings), and it breaks my wifi, it still works, but the signal is so weak that I have to be in the same room as a router to use it. That being said, I seem to get better service with Verizon running Omni. They're all quality roms, but they all have some bugs. If you want speed go Omni, if you want features, go with Beanstalk or SlimKat.
Been running CM11 nightlies(12/14) with Trinity. No reboots or SOD issues. Bluetooth works, wifi works, good battery. It's about the same as on 4.3 for me.
what about customization ? is like that, also
I tried CM 11 but i don't know how to change the color / size of the soft buttons, battery, clock etc
Any ideas ?
What are the pros and cons in comparison to 4.3 ROMs, like rock-solid Cataclysm 4.3?
Battery life for me is a lot better on 4.4.2 using cm 11.0 than stock 4.3 or any 4.3 rom ever was, also I no longer get all the lag I used to get with 4.3 an the constant bug report alerts which stock 4.3 used to give me in status bar which I found quite odd.For me kitkat is a vast improvement an 4.3 was a complete failure on googles part, well on my gnex anyway stock 4.3 was terrible.
i like omnimetal ..altho shinyrom and tiny's build of cm11 are both nice too...:good:

cloudyg3 or cyanidel rom?

so i was using stock kitkat rom for almost a year now. yes i havent updated to lollipop cause i was rooted.
and now im planning to install a custom rom, because stock rom are not as smooth as they were as they first were.
and im looking for a change, lollipop roms preferably.
so which roms suits me the most, cloudy or cyanidel rom? the important thing of course is battery life and performance.
thank you!
Cloudy all the way may have to do a few tweaks to get to your liking on top of xcam for replacent for stock app i flash all kinds of roms and crap and always come back to cloudy xposed works pretty good there are a few modules i have probs with but no major deal breakers
---------- Post added at 11:53 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:51 AM ----------
My opinion of coarse i like almost all the roms out for g3 multi varients all of them have there own special quirks i like
Cloudy is based on stock so you have all the advantages of the stock rom like:
-Camera driver
-Good battery life
-Stability
And for cyanide, its based on cyanogenmod, the adventages are:
-Smooth like butter
-Features
The choice is up to you depending of what you really want. Personally I'd go with a stock based rom because of the camera driver and the stability, I add xposed and I can have a lot of features.
But you can try one, do a nandroid backup, try the other and go back if you don't like it!
okay i think im gonna go for cloudy since i actually prefer stock feelings too.
one more question, can cloudy use lgg3tweakbox, Xinsta, Xstana using xposed without no problem?
some people says lg g3 on lollipop cant use some modules for e.g lgg3tweakbox
I use grav box tweekbox major one that dont work for me is advanced power menu
When u setup cloudy make sure u click in aroma installer to use exposed also you havento manually install the framework after u flash framwork zip youll thing u bootlooped but first boot after exposed takes a couple on min

I tried the following roms for the LG G3:
crDROID (AOSP Based Rom - Android 5.1.1)
Cloudy3G 2.5 (Stock based Rom - Android 5.0.X)
Fulmics 1.6 (Stock based Rom - Android 5.0.X)
My opinion:
crDroid : It was the smoothest rom I've tried until now but the I was disappointed by the battery life. The camera app is not the same as the stock rom camera app so the pictures quality is inferior.
Cloudy3G 2.5 : It was laggy for me, and it has a few bugs like the UI crashing when the phone is charging. The GPS has bugs as well. Cloudy is not being developed anymore.
Fulmics 1.6 : For now is the best stock based rom I've tried. It's smooth and it's always based on the latest updated stock rom from LG. Even better, the updates are via OTA so it's faster to update to the latest version of this custom rom.
Been really enjoying cloudy and I am super picky. I think you will be impressed, the developer did a really good job. Its working better than stock for me and feels quick no lag here.
Sent from my LGLS990 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
For me, Fulmics ROM is better than Cloudy. Its much smoothier and I had gps problems on Cloudy.
Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
so cloudy has gps problems? i used gps a lot that could be a problem for me.
i never check fulmics before.
what about cyanidel? no one mentions cyanidel?
so i switc hed to fulmics 2.0 just updated 2.1 and i love it smoother than cloudy and about the same battery life

I think it's because not a lot of people right now has been using cyanide (no updates since forever) and rr and bliss pop has taken the cm based limelight
Cloudy is okay but have some issues that will make you wanna flash another rom
Fulmics is much better but personally i've been losing data connectivity every once in a while.
Maybe try old timers like Lion, Chup Chups or Spartaxxx if you want stock
Or you can always try the cm based ones... like cyanide

smoothest and best custom rom for op3?

Hey all, I was just wondering in your opinions what your favorite custom roms and mods are for the oneplus 3. Do you guys prefer nougat roms or marshmallow? Etc.
Official, FreeDom.
Custom, 7.0 or 7.1, Citrus, Cypher.
Newest RR has been great.
I have tried BJRR,Orion,RR official,OOS,Jgcaap,Sultan XDA and out of all these ROMs I find sultan xda's ROM the smoothest, bug free and lag free rom.Just flash the rom, gapps,SuperSU, xposed don't flash any custom kernal, inbuilt kernal with default settings is serving me very good interms of battery and buttery smooth performance.

I agree, sultan is one of the best but i had the best result with exodus rom. Sultan rom is less smooth compared to exodus, imo.
Sultan cm13. Nothing smoother than that
Sultan's CM13 Build, stable and smooth. But there is more and more kernels for OOS, so you may just test that for a while.
Its Sultan XDA
Speaking about Nougat ROMs, for me the smoothest one is AOSiP.
Tried OOS, FreedomOS, LineageOS, RR (couple of different flavours), AICP, CosmicOS, and a couple others I don't remember.
Smoothest I've tried DU, AOSiP, Jgcaap LOS
Does any of these recommend ROMs have a good camera quality? Comparable to the original, OOS camera?

I used Zenith RR a couple of days and can definitely say that it is not as smooth AOSiP. When I talk about smoothness I mean stuttering during scroll and during animations.

Use Render kernal. Currently Zenith RR has not the most updated EAS. The lags you describe is the same as I had those are solved in later builds and I have to say it is smooth as butter while maintaining the battery of like Zhana.

Didn't try that, sorry.
I've tried every single Nougat ROM here, and I can confidently say that AOSiP is the smoothest.
I'm still at the last CM official snapshot, plus EX Kernel and OP3 Camera port. Everything is super-stable and I can't tell any feature that might be missing here, especially that I use many Xposed modules.

Bro go for freedom os you can't get better rom that freedom os 4.5 hr sot with slightly heavy usage super smooth earlier i was on 2.6 and currently i m using oxygenos 4.1.1 i think freedom os was gud and i most benefit of having a stock based rom is that you will get a highly optimised hardware like camera and fingerprint scanner
VertexOS or ExperienceOS
Custom rom, Tesla.
No doubt. The newly released SultanXda ROM.

which is the best rom for p2??

Aicp vs crdroid ???
In my opinion CrDroid ROM. Both ROMs are good for daily drivers though.
HighwayStar's Los 14.1
Crdroid rom is best rom ......but November patch only last update........aicp rom have December patch little bit bug and freeze. Problem
:good:stock MM
Wouldn't trade the battery life and the simplicity of stock N for another rom.
Out of topic : Cosmic OS
Any ROM without Dark screen video recording ?
(Only stock) is there any other ROM without this bug?
Stock Android 7 is the best and without any bugs.
Best is los - HighwayStar. Beautifull is ViperOs (black theme)!
for me after stock rom Mokee is the best...but the developer droped this rom with no reason

Stock M was good in battery life and N is also good. I can't really comment on the battery life after the update because I've got 130+ apps which can affect the battery life in the background. But, the real thing is that Android 7 has got some really cool features like; reply from notification, double tap for switching apps, multi apps, improved third party app features and so on. Hence, decision of updating OS for me was easier because I always strive for better user experience and battery of P2 is just too good to be worried about battery life.
Coltos 1.4 is best naught rom for p2... currently using this and no intention of changing untill stable oreo..

I see no difference at all. Initially it might have been a bit worse, but I'm now using S244 and it seems as good as ever.
