Please I want a guide to root Xperia M without unlocking Bootloader.
Sorry for asking many things Im not experienced in neither root nor android

You don't need to unlock the bootloader in order to root xperia M.
Of course you can take backups and use them to restore your data, thats what they are doing.

It is possible using towelroot but if you have an unlocked bootloader then it is much better to have a custom recovery because you can backup ur ROM.
Or you can relock bootloader (if you backup ur TA partition) then root your phone using towelroot method.

Guys I rooted my xperia m dual using towel rooter so I didn't change my recovery mode so please help to install cmw recovery and tell me that towel rooter gives temporary root or permanent root pls help me. Thanks in advance
Well first things first, you have to unlock your bootloader. You can do so by going here.
Instead of installing CWM, I will show you how to install PhilZ Touch (It's much recommended and up-to-date (kind of).)
Go here and download the file. Power off your phone and go to Flashtool. Then click the lightning button, choose Fastboot mode, and navigate to the downloaded file.
But if you really want to use CWM, just go here. Same steps. I want to remind you that it's a bit outdated.

Hey, just so that you know don't forget to backup your TA Partition before unlocking bootloader . There are many tools easily availabe for that because unlocking wipes the TA Partition and you cannot lock again, or retrieve DRM Keys without backup.
Also take backups before unlocking bootloader, sometimes the process can result in bootloop (mine did) . All the best
Hit Thanx, if I could help
Unlock bootloader > download CWM and flash it via flashtool
just flash the boot.img from the cm11 zip using flashtool and you will have the cwm recovery in ur phone.

If you have locked BL , you'll probably need to use king first, then change to su. With unlocked BL, just download custom kernel and flash with fastboot, then use recovery to flash su.
Hello to all ,
I'm running the 14.6.A.1.236, and I've recently unlocked the Bootloader.
I want to unlock all "bands" . per a post that i saw here.
@ levone1 - Can I root the phone, and keep the same firmware version (as stock), is it possible ?
Thank you .

Download a kernel IMG, (like this one - http://forum.xda-developers.com/son...rnel-advanced-14-5-0-242-kernel-v1-0-t3096060), and flash in fastboot. Works with .236.
P.s. - use 'quote' or 'mention' feature, so people know that you posted.

The BL is currently locked, so i should use King to root the device and then how do I change it to Super SU??? I tried this on a different phone and i simply couldn't figure out how to replace King with Super SU, thanks.

Some have had success using Supersume app, (https://play.google.com/store/apps/...store&pcampaignid=APPU_1_BewGV6arIIHgaaDZtdAM), some not. If not, there's some other options here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=65004634&postcount=2 If you don't need to save any data, etc, you could just root with king root, then do a full wipe in recovery and flash a prf with supersu.

You can officially unlock your Booloader from Sony : http://developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader/unlock-yourboot-loader/
I did it, but somehow, my phone got all wiped out, be careful and backup your info first.
