I currently can't unlock my Sprint Note 4 domestically, but if I unlock it internationally, can I use an international SIM and use the phone in the states? What carriers do the international SIM cards ride of of in the states? Thanks!
None, it has to be unlocked domestically as well.

If you are an AT&T subscriber, have an AT&T MicroSIM card and are traveling to Canada for a short period of time, you don't have to SIM-unlock your phone. You can use your actual AT&T MicroSIM card to roam on Canadian's wireless networks; you keep your actual contract with your carrier and keep your actual phone number. Beware of the potentially high roaming fees your carrier will charge you, though.
But if you plan to stay in Canada (either you are moving to/living in Canada or are traveling to Canada for an extended period of time) and you would like a new Canadian phone number in order to avoid the roaming fees, then yes, you will need to buy a new MicroSIM card from Rogers and yes, you will have to SIM-unclock your phone in order for your phone to recognize another carrier's SIM card.
Hey, I'm getting a Verizon Galaxy Nexus from U.S. and i just came to know that Verizon is a CDMA carrier not a GSM one..
is there any way to get the phone unlocked/flashed/rooted or anything to get it working got GSM carriers here in India ?

No.

Cancel your purchase as there is no way to make the CDMA Verizon able to work on a GSM network. It does have a sim slot but only for the Verizon LTE sim card. Only the newer Verizon phones (Note 2, Iphone 5, etc) have a sim slot that is already unlocked and would be able to be used on GSM carriers. Good luck and hopefully you can cancel your purchase in time.

Any ATT phone will work as long as you can get it unlocked or its already sim unlocked. The One X uses a microsim and you can just pop in your international sim once it is unlocked and be good to go.
Hello everyone I hope that I get a response I have an LG G4 from Verizon that is fully paid off that I want to send to my sister in Mexico her carrier is AT&T. Now AT&T is a GSM carrier in Mexico emperor what I have found it would be compatible with the network however my question is how can I unlock the LG G4 Sim card so that she can plug in her Sim card. I have found that Verizon says that all of their LTE phones are unlocked but I just want to make sure before I send her a phone that she would not be able to use if I don’t do anything and everything I need to do
Unfortunately, I don't think you will be able to use this phone with an AT&T Mexico SIM Card. If your phone was locked and used on Verizon, it means that is a CDMA device. Thus, it works only with Verizon and doesn't recognize the GSM Technology so it won't accept the AT&T Sim card.
More info on CDMA networks here: https://www.unlockunit.com/blog/cdma-networks/
I think you are better of selling this device in the US and buying an already unlocked GSM model.

ask verizon to unlock it.
i have tmobile one unlocked from tmobile works great.
hey guys I am looking to purchase a note ten plus and was wondering if the dual sim feature would work with two different carriers, both carriers are on gsm networks.
Yes it will.
Just make sure it's unlocked and not from a ISP/services provider.
If it comes from a Telco (vodafone/O2 and other) they are software restricted to 1 SIM. You can reflash with an unlocked software (general 975F firmware and it would unlock SIM management but the telco would or should have the 2nd SIM locked.
AFAIK there isn't a sensible way to unlock a 2nd SIM for an officially single SIM device, though it Should be possible.
Way back in the nexus days, carriers would sell different branded nexus phones(Nexus 6) that they would claim only worked on their network but infact, once sim unlocked would work for all networks like the non carrier version. So you could buy Nexus 6 from Verizon and then put a T-Mobile sim in and get 4G LTE, etc and have no issues. My question is this, if I bought a pixel 6 pro from Verizon and got it sim unlocked, does it have the same bands/frequencies of the factory unlocked variant to use T-Mobile 5g, LTE?
Can't unlock the bootloader on Verizon so your best bet would be either from Google or other network
