[Q] help - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II

Hi
I need some help
i wanted to get back to stock 4.3 after dn4 but anytime after flashing 4.3 via odin, it doesnt work. it always takes me back to android recovery 3e. with some red inscription that E: E:failed to mount /system (invalid argument) etc
I also tried with the 4.1.1 firmware but still same. but i am able to root, install cwm again and flash back to dn4. Is there a way i can go back to stock from here or the bootloader is locked? help please

Do you have root? If yes, flash the custom recovery you had, then restore your nandroid that you surely did before you ever installed DN4. If you don't have a nandroid, then I am afraid you will have to go the Odin route. Good luck

Thanks for the reply. Yes I had a Nan backup. I restored it after ...and I tried to flash back the stock again in Odin and still got the same error after boot.

I tried to flash a ROM and accidentally deleted the Recovery files on my phone (running 2.2.1 EC05), and even after re-flashing stock I can't recover the E: Drive information. Any suggestions on how to restore the E: Drive on my phone, so that I can flash again. I was able to root the phone using Clockwork Mod version 3.0.0.5/6 however even the recovery mode of that will not allow flashing a new ROM. Any ideas anyone because I really need to flash this thing, I'm going through withdrawals.

You could Odin your phone back to stock and start flashing again with instructions and files found here:

Soft Bricked P601 Need Help!

P601 (32GB) stuck at Samsung boot logo.
It was on P601XXUCND6 firmware and during installation of custom rom zip, twrp rebooted and messed up things somehow.
Then I flash P601XXUCND6 again from odin and now stuck at Samsung logo.
Upon Entering Stock Recovery, it shows "fail to mount /data (Invalid Argument).
Tried P601_MJ8_16GB.pit from stock pit file tread and fail that too.
Need Advice.

Have you tried factory reset?
You are a life saver.
Factory reset works.
Thanks a lot.

Hello rkimdjork.
I know this thread is very old, but i'm facing a problem on my tablet Samsung Galaxy note 10.1 SM-P601 (wifi + 3G) 32GB version.
I have a stock firmware from Kenya with android Lolipop 5.1.1. And i want to change the firmware to a new one, or flash a custom firm. But when i start the process on ODIN, i can't flash anything, the process stops on "get pit mapping...." .
Like i said, i have a 32GB version tablet like yours, if i use that pit file "P601_MJ8_16GB.pit" it won't brick my tablet ?
Thanks for the help.

I think you have tried the right thing, format cache, as it's not working could it be memory hardware? You could take it to some repair shop to try repair with jig.
still the same
