Best tempered glass protector?

Hi,
I'm looking for a good tempered glass screen protector for my x820. I have already tried one I got from Aliexpress, but, although I placed it perfectly aligned with the screen and bezel, it kept getting off on the corners, every time I put a cover on the phone.
I'm currently using this bumper cover from Aliexpress and love it, but would also like to get a screen protector that's able to stay in place, even after using the cover: https://es.aliexpress.com/item/EDWO...32779417691.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.U8dd3i

Interesting, I've bought 2 or 3 different ones for my wife (she drops her phone/cracks the tempered cover glass all the time), on ali-express, and never saw this. I just looked at her phone. I think her TPU case overlaps the corners just a tiny little bit, probably enough to hold that glass in place. No idea where she got the clear TPU case though. Somehow I think it's the one that shipped with her order from GearBest.com

Few days ago I ordered Mofi tempered glass. I'll post my impressions as soon as I got it.

And it's ok... I am using a TPU case with it. The original LeEco case is also good with it. Try to clean the phone better at the edges before applying.

I think this is the same one as all the vendors have. You can get 2 pieces for that price, but considering it's coming from Germany, it'll be at your door step within few days as opposed to several weeks/months if the item comes from CN.
It's good if you need the tempered glass very fast. Thanks for the find.

because i couldnt resist the price, i recently bought me the 6gb 128gb le max2 , when i added the screen protector and compared both phones i realized that there was not even a scratch on the old protector (within a year and surviving the outdoor season)
i also have a nexus 5 with tempered glass screen protector and i also put one on a iphone 5se
both have had marks or corners broken in no time.
The ones from the link are still like new.

Looking for protective screen film from a reputable manufacturer. Any suggestions?

I'm in a desperate need for a high quality screen film for this device. Please, don't suggest glass protectors — I've tried A WHOLE DAMN LOT of them when I was using Xiaomi Redmi 4X and didn't liked the experience. At all. I was looking on Skinomi website but it seems like they don't offer any for Redmi Note 7 specifically (which is a shame — their applciation method & films quality is really groundbreaking). So, any good alternatives?

I am also looking for a good protector for my note 7 I usually get a 5-10 pack of cheap ones from ebay and then I can change them after a few months or so to keep them fresh looking.
The screens on recent phones are getting better and better now and I have not used a protector on my redmi note 5 ever and it is still in perfect condition months later but I do worry a little.

There is Skinomi options available for Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 but not a single one for Redmi Note 7. I emailed them and they responded to me stating, that the reason for this is that Redmi Note 7 not yet available in USA officially, which is kinda strange. Doesn't it already?.. I've seen it on Amazon and Walmart online I think. There is also Nillkin options available but they are no better then your average no name Chinese film.

Also, I've seen Gadgetshieldz has protective films for Redmi Note 7, but... I'm not sure how it's better than any other from AliExpress.

It's not Skinomi installation experience obviously, but good thing it comes in two pieces per order. The film itself is pretty wide and covers only actual screen (not full front cover), so you have to be very precise in order to not left some areas uncovered, it's a very tight fit.

Screen Guards/Protectors/Tempered Glass for Xiaomi Mi 10

The Xiaomi Mi 10 is undoubdtedly a great phone. Arguably the best camera on any phone (I didn't see any difference with the Mi 10 Pro so opted for the Mi 10 with its bigger battery instead).
However, in most regions the Mi 10/pro do not come with pre-installed screen protectors. Having used the Mi A2 which has the GG5, I feel the Mi 10 can be used without a screen protector confidently. The provided case is thick and deep, and the glass won't get easily scratched if the phone is handled with care. Just be careful not to keep it with coins or keys to avoid scratches and be very careful not to drop the phone.
GG5 by its very nature can resist even deep scratches but a little common sense will go a long way.

I live in Portugal and my Xiaomi Mi 10 brought a plastic film to the screen, it is not the best, but it is better than having nothing ..
I walk in a fight to find the best tempered glass, but there are many people saying that they stick only to the sides, if anyone knows something, please share.

I think isn't an easy install and isn't easy clean the glue if you broke the class.

Uv tempered glass works fine. Does not leave any residue after removing it from the phone.

Did any of you found a good screen protector that is case friendly? Thanks!

Hello, I'm wondering whether mi note 10 screen protectors will fit mi note 10 lite also because both have identical screens as I have read. In my region it's hard to find a screen protector for mi note 10 lite. But we have for mi note 10. So any opinion will be really helpful. Thanks

I have searched and searched on aliexpress. I just can't make up my mind. Sometimes there are no reviews and sometimes reviews are not good. Sometimes there's this hole thing in place of fingerprint scanner.

May be hydrogel ones do cover the screen well. I ordered one from AliExpress. Should see how it goes when it arrives

I've bought a screen protector on Ali express and received it yesterday, It has no hole for the fingerprint, it's glued to the phone by a liquid that solidify with UV rays, it covers the all screen, and It has no disgusting black edges !
As long i tested it, i can day that it's note bad, no bubbles, and the fingerprint reader is working as well as before.
I found it on a thread on XDA for the Mi note 10 lite ...
I also discovered that Huawei P30 Pro's screen protector could do the job (the two devices has the same screen according to some versus).

I am already using a custom cut hydrogel and it's been good for scratch prevention and gaming.

Thanks for the information. I will agree it's quite expensive compared to the other options in the aliexpress. Some reviews are good. Some state there's still small gap at the edge and it starts peeling off after some days. Please update us with your experience after some usage ?. Thanks

this is the best tempered glass i ever tried.. not on this phone only.. on every phone... its like there is no tempered glass on phone just the screen.. ultra clear.. not easy to get dirty with fingerprints.. it just need 5 min with uv and its ready

Hi, what about removing that glass, is it dangerous for the screen when removing glass, does it leave glue residu ?

After a few weeks , I can say I'm not disappointed, however there's still bad news...
The screen protector does not fit with the case boxed with the phone, some bubbles started appearing at the edge (it's not really visible but it's there)...
This screen protector still cover the entire screen and fit really well on the device !
I think with a new case there will not be anymore problems with it ¡

I have removed other brands with same uv light very easy.. not even glue on screen left..

I work in retail, and with curved screens, only uv glue glass protectors are usefull here

I will use the Phone with a case so the glass must hold when in case and not peel off on the edges...oh and i dont like it when i always see the fingerprint sensor area. Have seen some Photos from such glasses and they have all holes or an always visible ...thingie in the area. What about the 2 from here?
I am so afraid the screen brokes when my Phone falls with only a soft tpu protector

You could try those hydrogel protectors. But they would only protect the screen from scratches.

Question Should I replace the stock screen protector?

So I was just going to buy a tempered glass protector for my new Poco F3 and then I saw they have one on already. What do you think? Should I just buy a thicker one and replace it or will it be good enough?

I replace it within 5 minutes i got the phone... Bad quality compared to those that is used on s21 series

There isn't a really need to change default screen protector.
Glass screen protectors are a commercial thing. It breaks every time you drop the phone and then makes you buy a new one thinking it protected the phone.
Just change the stock one if you have too many scratches on it. Or if you don't like fingerprints.. I feel it takes it a lot :s if I change, it's for thin plastic film not glass.

I replace the stock screen protector with a tempered glass and now the touch is a lot better. Also the feeling is smoother now. Stock screen protector is cheap.

I replaced mine. The stock screen protector is more vulnerable to scratches than a tempered glass. Mine had some scratches after a few days.

It comes with frame so it's really a piece of cake to put screen protector perfectly in place. I have it, everything ok so far. Oleophobic coat is also here. They also add a back plactick sticker. Nice thing, can cover your glass backplate too.

I just took mine off, screen protectors are kinda useless

The stock screen protector was peeling off in a month for me, so I switched to Gadgetshieldz screen protector which I've been using for 6 months and It is very efficient and gives good protection against scratches.

A good case should be your primary display protection from impact. Slightly raised guards on all sides.
The display needs protection from scratches otherwise it will get scratched. Sand easily scratches any display. Keep the factory one on until it gets ratty and/or you have a replacement.
Hydrocell wet apply TFF ones like Gorilla IQ Sheild work well, are dirt cheap, relatively easy to apply and can last 6+ months.
