Hello every body .. I 've been using badadroid , version ( cm 11 ) by volk ( modified by Gunter33.)
any how ,
I 've been using this rom for almost a week . every thing is cool except the lag of course ( an old endless problems for bada droid )
so to try to improve my rom . I tried Greenify with Donation package , and was WONDERING ( can I use the exposed version of this app ) >>> will it harm my phone/rom/storage ? ...
I hope this can be a small blog not only to talk about greenify on badadroid , but also to contribute as a badadroid users or maybe Developers can join too and give advises/tips/methods to improve this rom in general ....
my phone is Samsung Wave II GT-S8530 dual boat :

Well what can i say , i didn't try Gunter33 version , but I know Omni 4.4 by volk204 isn't that laggy , actually it has a pretty solid performance
For Greenify / exposed : i tried that once , and believe isn't there much of a difference , exposed will keep running in the background consuming a part of the RAM , and it is needed to greenify some system apps
which you don't need to hibernate , or they just did make that feature to a complete stock android ROM (there is nothing worth putting in hibernation in Omni 4.4 )
Probably it is time for you to drop bada completely

about using omni ,, I have installed cm 11 a week ago , so it took me about 2 years to finally decide to have android on my device ! . and considering that android isnt official for waves, it's always a good idea to have a bada os to save ur A** when Android goes Crazy ,, plus when I put my sd card ,android wiped all my photos from camera section , so it isn't a reliable os any way ,,,
.... I asked about exposed version so i can hibernate whatsapp and imo , without stoping the notification ,,
....
omni does still have screen wake up lag , and low ram .. so not a big difference .

First rule back up , i wouldn't agree with you in last part , in my humble opinion the actual Omni 4.4 more reliable than Bada , you should give a try when you're ready :angel:

If you hibernate the apps , probably the auto sync and push up notification , will not always work

"screen wake up lag" works great with me , true there was a bug but it was fixed a long time ago .
"low ram" , if you mean the available free Ram , it isn't really of that importance , the 4.0.4 version was light on the system , but it had its bugs and the developers fixed them on the next release android 4.2 , if you want a free bug version ( latest bug fixes) consider installing the omni 4.4 , and if you want dual boot , the roms that support that has it own bugs

This is my first ROM so...
This ROM based on BLAZN (by tiad8 from XDA).
I tested the ROM on Raph100 and Diam100 and every thing works, including the camera and camcoder. I don't have other devices so i can help but i need some log to see what's wrong.
I'm getting 21FPS (diam100) and 20.2FPS (raph100) with NeoCore with no overclock and camera+camcoder works great.
How to install V6:
1. choose your device and put startup.txt on npkinstall and on root.
2. run install.exe in the npkinstall folder - REBOOT.
3. check that you have 'ts-calibration' file (if not download it from here: http://www.neopeek.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=6420)
4. run harted
5. after startup wizard finish, wait 5 min and restart.
6. start harted and have fun!

That's amazing!!! Wow, i'm not ready for using android builds needing the separate partition personally, but can't wait to see if something can use this to figure out what is helping get this kind of battery power. I would be willing to bet a lump sum it's not relating to being an ext2 build (verses image style like main FRX04 build here), as when in sleep mode, nothing is getting accessed to USE more power to constitute that being a reason, as there both in low power mode, with equal amounts of access to reading changed values (very little). Which means it's very likely we can figure out what differences in this version getting this battery length, compared to normal equivalent ext2 rom builds battery.
I get (as of today, using normal FRX04 and camera additions and libraries) from 2pm-7pm dropped from 99% to 54% (about 10% per hour), with the differences being it was sleeping mostly the whole time in my holster. This seems like it's getting (from reading the post) 10% of USING it, and 45hours of standby, which is a HUGE difference.

No, haven't tried it yet on my raph800, but simply GUESSING it would since he's using viruscrazy's files from his thread, which does work on diamonds, raphs, etc. I will try it once i get a chance (or extra memory stick i don't mind making separate partitions), as right now i have 2.2(camera) and 2.3 install setup's (using images) as the way i have things done, i don't want to mess with making a separate ext2 partition to do this (reason i didn't do 2.3rom until they came out with the newer version setup with an image instead, like frx04 is done).
But when i get some time (or if someone ends up making the non-ext2 partition version on THIS build), i will shift some stuff around to make an extra partition for this as i would love to help test this out for raph800 users as well. I only have an 8gig, and have almost 7 gig's used, including both android versions, music, pictures (i take A LOT, and frequently)
Please delete mirrors of versions and let the guys fix the version 5..This versions contains warez apps..They delete the main mirrors until remove these apps and give back version 5 ..Thanks

No links for the time...There was some complications with ver 5...Also they remove warez and test..In a while we will have it..
cant wait for it....too desperate for such n awsome build....

The way of installing and porting its clearly different..You could try both of them and decide what fits you..There are many differnents..I prefer huawei roms as you said just because its a little bit faster for me..

i've dowloaded and installed this ROM and its works good but besides the known bugs i've encountered in some i didnt find on the forums :
- data toggele doesnt work so good , sometimes i need to switch to airplain mode on/off to get 3G data to work
- i cant mount USB mass storage on my PC i dont have this option when connecting the device .
how can wrk around it ?

I'm using this ROM daily too, and I can tell you just this: if you have read the whole thread in the Development section then you would know that those are the current issues that vijendrahs tries to solve, besides that he even posted that he has fixed those issues within the new updated version of this ROM, but he won't post/upload the new ROM before the "kanging issues resolve" - whatever that means.
I'm still new to the Android world, and I have my Desire for like 4months now, but his is the best JB ROM so far and I rreally appreciate his work, I would even donate some money if I could ( we have some problems with paypal in my country - still waiting for them to fix those ), but I just can't understand why someone would steal or repost the same ROM on another forum and say that it is his work/ROM ??? everybody knows that vijendrahs is the main developer for the 3 ROM's, and those are the MIUI JB ROM, the CM 10 JB ROM, and the AOKP JB ROM, so please stop those childish things...
I even considering to go into development myself, still haven't found the right amount of time for that, but as soon as I can - I will give it a shoot

Hello friends.... I'm sharing this Flyme OS which i found (shared) in MIUI forums, so that xda developers might take interest and improve it with their magics...

My personal Experience..
Pros:
1. ROM is awesome with simple & neat interface, features are great.
2. Good amount of free RAM, i noticed ~400mb free after installing few daily use apps.
3. No noticeable lags, Rom is smooth.
Cons:
1. Average battery backup (but not too bad). Can be used as daily ROM
2. Few RANDOM bugs for many users.. such as...
> Gapps installation
> 2nd sim not working
> couldn't change network to 3g
> play store sign in issues
etc.,
I'm very respectfull towards developer & friends here for all their works.. :fingers-crossed:
I request if any dev take interest to fuurther develop this ROM for redmi 1s, lot many users like myself will be greatfull :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:

Nice ROM..only one problem is there that it doesn't support dual sim
Atlast new os for our redmi 1s and I think so it must expand by porting different OS like touchwiz,xperia,etc.!!!
Our armani devs are good in removing bugs,so I request them to add dual sim feature if they have time in future

Instructions
1.)Put all the downloaded files in your device's SD CARD . Don't have ? Go get one!!!
2.)Backup all your data with CWM Recovery . If you don't have one you can follow this guy's guide
3.)Flash the EXT4.zip . After flashing reboot recovery mode .
4.)Then Flash the MerrukTechnology Kernel 2.0 PRE-FINAL . After Flash reboot recovery mode again .
5.)Open your previously backup file and restore ( only the System and Data partition ) if you feel like you want to full restore the back up and you don't want to lose any of your data ， you can go ahead with it . But make sure that you didn't restore the boot partition or else YOUR DEVICE WON'T BE ABLE TO BOOT .
6.)After reboot device go to your file manager like Root Explorer etc. extract the Graphics Driver . Go inside the file system/lib/egl and you will notice the file named "libGLES_hgl.so" copy it and paste it to the root of your device system/lib/egl
. Then reboot again..... Uhh this is so boring .
Congrats!!! you've just made your device better then before .

Sorry for the late reply , actually the improved graphics driver are meant to maximize the performance of the graphics to run games better . I noticed that the main problem that was causing such apps to force close are due to poor graphics driver quality and not the small RAM size (maybe) nor the CPU's speed .
And sorry to disappoint you but sadly my phone has been destroyed by my father because i was working too much time to solve the phone's problem . So i can't make a video to show the results .
I had personally tested this graphics driver and it runs greatly on my device . Some games that i play before were unable to run well and keeps force closing . After the installation of the new graphics driver , it runs more better than before .
I recommend you to try out the graphics driver (if you are using the device Galaxy Y) and report back to me .

Good lock is supporting on j500f and also other marshmallow devices.just download the apk and install.after it will ask for reboot.its a original android view in samsung mm devices.It is an interesting alternative version of default TouchWiz..here the original thread and screen shots are there only.hope everyone will like it.

yeah.thats one problem of goodlock.if u want to remove.then flash the stock firmware through odin and then again flash twrp...it will be in previous state...else if u have any backup of system through taken by twrp before then just wipe system and cache and then restore only system.in this way u can save ur data.i think it will be helpfull for u.

Huge slow downs, Lag... any solutions I' m on J510FN (J5 2016) and it can be easily uninstalled from good lock settings.

Ok.thanks mate for ur information.i think its suitable with ur device.maybe u have less free ram in ur mobile to use this app.that's y it maybe slow down.here i have used before its working fine with mine.j500f nd i have checked its support for all mm devices.
I don't know it seems to work fine on J500 this app is optimized to work on S7 and S7 edge and probably on Note 7 too as it's not available for other devices on Galaxy apps so i think we need to wait little while
I have a j500f and i can confirm it works better than stock system ui.
For me its extremely slow and i have same phone but bigger display and more storage and more ram
