Some problem about Paranoid Android 3+

i'm using paranoid anroid 3+ but i have some problem with my dialer , have some one got this bug like me ???
after flash this rom , i reboot my HOV but it stuck at the red text screen , i have tried to shut down my device then reboot again and again , 2 or 3 times , and it start up @@ , some time i need to reboot my device but when i do , it alway stuck at the red text screen then i do the same thing and it stat up agian @@ , have some body got this problem , or some body know how to fix it , please help me , i was search for this issue but i got nothing (sr poor english )
i'm using boot-HELLBOY-42-201302150110.img kernel

its a initial built there are many issue with this rom better to switch to other rom

[Q] Quick toggle on top right not working

hi,
I own a galaxy nexus and flashed quite a bit of roms . The problem I am facing is that when I click on top right quick toggle which is present all right but doesnot bring down the quick settings ! . It does not happen on stock 4.2.2. This problem has arose recently .
Please guide me how to debug the issue instead of just giving solutions and if possible the problem reason .

do a full wipe, flash a stock rom and load everything up as normal, full wipe again and flash a stable rom like cm10.1 and see if the issue persists.

Sudden AOKP ROM problem ???

I had flashed AOKP 21/2 build. It was working great for a week with little overheat problem . Nothing serious though . But from today onwards it started restarting on its own. It happened couple of times and now all the bugs people have mentioned starting showing up. It makes that crackling sound when headphone is inserted and won't recognize it . Network won't come after the restart. That brightness fluctuation and almost everything. Does anyone has the same problem ? Cause for a week it was working great. even my video recording was fine.

It is the most stable rom i found till now and VoLTE also works pretty well.

Thanks , In order to make VoLTE work , do we need to flash that latest stock ROM with VoLTE update ?

Why stock rom ?? VoLTE works on custom roms

The modem you have installed must have come from a stock om with volte support in order to continue to enjoy volte on your custom rom. the custom roms do not provide anny modem software and hence if your stock rom did not have volte you will not have it after flashing a custom rom.

[Issue] Boundless Reboot Loop on LineageOS 13.0 Android 6.xx ROM

Hello , everyone
First i wanna thank this guy for posting this ROM
The ROM was installed correctly and worked fine a long time even though , there're some mini issues showen like (system has been stopped / Mail has been stopped) I've made some settings to get ride of Mail has been stopped (Disable it and Delete it after )
But when i've kept my phone on charging in the night and woke up for checking it , it's only some secondes before the system shutdown without reason without even showing something else and this reboot loop continue and i can't use my phone anymore Please help me out ..

The problem is because of a bug between the upgraded android app and CM based ROMs.
Since the problem hasn't been solved on either part. people are experiencing this on many other devices that are running CM based ROMs. Use any other ROM and you should be fine.

I too faced this problem, when I had marshmallow. Then I switched to Android KitKat ( This one https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2627818 to be specific )and my phone is perfect now. Maybe galaxy grand cant handle ROMs above KitKat. I think any KitKat variant will be fine.

Aosp 6.0 Works fine, No bootloop like on other CM based ROMs, it's CM compatibility issue here is the link for others who want to stick to Marshmallow, this one is very stable for daily driver.

I think I have an answer. The culprit is your battery. Try a new battery and see if the problem exists. With the passage of time, the battery degrades and is no longer able to support demanding ROMs and thus the mobile shuts down.

@sheepkill15 I have a question mate. Is there anything specific regarding the installaton process of your ROM? I installed your RR-O-v6.1.0-20180907 and 8.1 GApps mini but I've been sitting on a bootanimation for over 20 minutes now. Thanks for your effort and sharing the ROM with us.

There's nothing special to be done, but yes, sometimes it's stuck in bootloop. What I usually do is:
Hard reset, wipe everything except microsd, delete the zip from sd card, copy it again and install again.
Idk why it needs sometimes to be flashed again, but that way it will boot for sure. A normal first boot with this rom should be around 7 minutes

I got it to work, and it is great. I just have one more question. Do you have any recommendations on which gcam version to use? Thank you once again.

I don't know which version is good, I don't use it

is there any bugs in this rom ? is it stable and support the Dual sim configuration means both sim card can be detected ? cuz am using HadesRom v4.5 it's cool! but i get fed up from the TOUCHWIZ and i want the original google roms give my A5 2017 the full power of CPU and GPU ! more faster and more powerful but with the original looks heavy sometimes after maybe a month of using !

In the current build, the biggest problem is that the buttons dont light up, but I fixed that in the meantime, just haven't uploaded it yet. The other noticeable issue is that the battery life is not perfect. I'm working on it too. The radio isn't working yet, but you don't use it, there's nothing more.
I don't know about dual sim, since I have the normal one.

Does anybody else face a problem of a laggy front camera using apps like snapchat/messenger/instagram?

problems are :
The Rom :
- Didn't detect my saved contacts on both sim cards.
- Didn't have the same quality of image but it's not bad.
- The calculator app still more than 1 min to open ( something weird)!
- Battery usage looks perfect !
- The configurations in settings gives a lot of helpful things such as the customization of the notification panel and the power menu !

so what i did now is that i rooted with magisk and i installed ( Root explorer R ) pro version and installed ( System apps uninstall ).
i deleted ( Calculator,Camera,browser,messaging,music player,gallery.....etc) then i installed an Alternative for them. so now i have my customized RR V6.2.0
it's awesome with root. But for who installed this rom you can go to settings and find the display PPI ( you will find it about 400ppi ) i changed it up to 424ppi( the original A5 2017 ppi ) and now works perfectly .

Friend I've been with your rom for a few days and it's the BEST ROM OF EVERYTHING! I say this in a matter of customization and having a purest experience that samsung ...
I have an A520F (two-chip model) and both are OK.
The problem is that it has some really annoying bugs as a problem to play media (especially songs that get squeaked and at first I was worried if my headphones had damaged), also has bugs in the camera that seem to limit their quality a lot, bugs in the interface in general that make the device reboot out of nowhere (it happened to me 1 or 2 times during the time I am with the rom on the device [4 days]), bugs on the physical buttons as previously said, among others ... These were the most important bugs I had with rom.
I have some suggestions for interesting implementations to make in the rom like stereo audio (it has this function in Hades), just leave the pixel launcher more notifications optimization on the always on display and one good thing I believe developers should do is provide a form of install a separate galaxy s9 camera package that is present in rom Hades for all roms.
You are doing a good job and good luck for more projects in the future. I'll probably record a YouTube video about your future rom and give you the credits.
