Can Someone with a Note II Test My App? - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello all,
I am the developer of an app called NetLive, here is the official XDA thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2416570
A user is reporting issues when running this app on their Note II. I do not have access to this device, and would appreciate if anyone here could install my app and determine if it is working. Particularly, check whether the "Display active app" feature is working, which shows the user the app on their device that is currently using the most data.

hi. I installed it and it's fine.. I don't know what exactly it's needs to do. but it's display alert with arrows up and down on N. and info about the net traffic in live

I posted this in the app section but not had a response yet, I could really do with an app like this after an incident the other night.

Just wanted to thank yous for your help on this Setting profiles provides the functionality I need although it doesn't work properly. However, I have managed to find similar apps that I am in the process of testing.

Copilot not working after update.

Anyone else got this issue? I didn't realise it would break existing apps.

The latest co-pilot version does work with froyo, you need to update the app.

Yes I can confirm the latest version works fine with Froyo.
can I ask you guys what version of copilot you are running? Im on 8.0.0.735 and when I connect to Copilot Central their are no updates??
You need version 8.2.0.218

after installing 8.2.0.218 i've been unable to turn off that annoying key tap sound (no option in sound settings as in previous 8.0). This is what worked for me:
edit /sdcard/copilot/user.cfg
locate section [User Settings]
add this line:
"FeedbackSoundEnabled"=0
Save & enjoy the silence

Dont have that issue, but you may try to add this, also in User Settings:
"SayWelcome"=0

[Q] Help! Need Tester for App

Hello,
I'm working on the next release of komodo contacts. To find it search the market for komodo.
I would post a link if i could.
I only have a HTC Hero and Nexus One to use for testing.
I have reports the current version of the app in the market is Force Closing on the EVO.
Would any of you be kind enough to post the log cat of the crash if it crashes for you?

It basically shows you a list of all contacts and allows you to sort them in different ways. Also picking a contact will show you all the "meta data" about that contact.

your website only has the one screen shot and doesn't give any other information. Might want to update that before you ask for testers as personally i would like to see what your product is about before i give it access to contact information. Not saying anything is not above board, but generally a little more information would be required.

i just downloaded it, it seems to be running okay. Most features are "Not Implemented" but that's expected

And yes i will be updating the website with more information once it gets closer to release.
The app has just basic sorting functionality now nothing malicious. It does not update any contact information just view only. The download page on the site has a little bit more about what the app actually does.
I had a user report a FC on EVO i thought it might be related to some funky groups created by the sprint rom.
anyways thanks for your help glad to hear its running ok on an evo.
okay, i did get a few FCs using bakedsnack, but still none with cm6. don't know if it's a sense problem or what. can't wait to see this app with full functionality. also i do not know if this is where i should be posting or if you'd prefer a PM.

Reinstaller app update not downloading

Hello all, thought I come here and post this since the developer of the reinstaller app doesn't have any support email attached to the app.
The app had a v1.5 update yesterday and haven't been able to download any app from the marketplace since this V1.5 update. The app just quits upon tapping the download icon....it doesn't invoke the marketplace installer and it just dies taking you to the start screen.
Is this update bad? Too bad I have updated already but if you haven't don't till this problem is solved somehow if only the developer gets to know and if only I'm not the only one expieriencing it.
If anyone has a solution please help, don't know if i'm the only one with this problem.

I don't think it could be a matter of market, because before this update, I could use it without any problem...
I have the exact same issue and already contacted the dev. He says he didn't Change anything on the logic and means it could be the Website having issues. I doubt that though since I can Access it perfectly fine via IE mobile or from my notebook.

I don't like the developer answer...should dig his app a little more...hope he will fix that soon I was waiting for those new features!
The app update has brought us problems....too bad
I am in the US and having the EXACT same problem. Dev definitely needs to fix this!
Able to log in and do the app count and everything. Like the new layout. But when I pick an app and try to download it, it doesn't do anything. Just blacks out and goes back to the phone app list.
Hopefully a fix is out soon. Good thing I'm not planning on flashing any ROMs now.

I just downloaded it, because everybody told me that this app is great, if you are too old to remind all your purchased apps Even if in my case they are only a few..
I'm from Germany.
I'm able to log in, and it counts all the apps, but when i try to download or to show me the purchased apps etc. it unfortunately does not work anymore.. :/
But lately I remembered the name of most of the Apps..
I hope it will be fixed soon

All - I am the developer of this app and while I'm really sorry that some of you are running in to these problems, it seems it is not affecting everyone alike.
There are some reviews that report that the app works just fine for them even with the update.
My take is that some kind of hardware/software variation is involved in this problem (after all, it made it through certification).
I'm working on this problem and will submit another update today. However, it will still be a week before it reaches you.

Secondly, thanks for your care, I'm so disappointed for not being able to test 1.5...and will see, today if I have enough time, if it's a matter of rom...but it would be surprising as 1.0 is just working fine...

1. App not able to fetch app list for non-US Live IDs
2. App crashing when tapping the Install button after app scan is finished
3. App crashing when clicked on Install button on the app/games selection page
Drop me note as ashish [at] wpfied.com if you see any of the above issues along with your device, Live ID country and WP build number (if possible).

Thanks for that! I was having the same problem as stated. I'm so used to having an unlocked phone, with my Focus, that I tried to load the QR Xap on the Lumia 900! Can't wait for full access...

Can you provide another one as this one wont install. Think it's a problem with certificate.
Edit** Nevermind, just used Multiple XAP Installer http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=943842 as it signs it before installing, and all went well.

1. Apps/Games pivot is gone since it doesn't seem to work for non-English phones
2. Need to test if tapping install button on the app selection page still crashes the app

This one worked perfect!
The second .xap you posted here is better, now it counts my apps, i tested it, and i works. but it is supposed to be that we tap every app manually to install after it opens the marketplace?
tested device: htc 7 pro
OS: 7.10.8107.**
Language settings on German
location setings also.
APP Works.
On HTC Titan it crashes when I click on Install after I download the list of the apps. Even if I select only one of them ...
