[ROM][JB4.3]Ganbarou GT-I9505 Android 4.3 based on CM10.2

What's new?
V4.05: Not much news, everybody is working on Android 4.4 KitKat. This version has only updated to newest CM10.2 sources.
WARNING: CM10.2 / Android 4.3 has problems with the APN settings. If you cannot get 3G data connection, you need to add the APN manually. Follow the advice in this post on XDA.
To enable the navigation buttons in the status bar:
Settings->Interface->Expanded desktop->select "Status bar visible"
Settings->Interface->Status bar->check "Enable Navigation in status bar"
Press power button to get power menu ->click on "Expanded desktop"
To enable brightness control by swyping on the status bar:
Settings->Display->Brightness->disable automatic brightness control
Settings->Interface->Status bar->check “Brightness control”
What's this about?
This is the next release of my Ganbarou GT series of ROMs.
It is based on Android 4.3 and CM10.2 source code and flavoured to my own needs.
I build this ROM from sources for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 (GT-P7500/GT-P7501/GT-P7510/GT-P7511), the Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505) and (if my wife gives it back to me) the Galaxy Note (GT-N7000).
What's the difference to Cyanogenmod CM10.2?
There is no official CM10.2 ROM for the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
Initial differences to generic CM10.2 are:
Ganbarou wallpaper
Ganbarou bootanimation
Ganbarou About screen (Ganbarou changelog, Ganbarou version, Ganbarou easter egg)
Reboot and Recovery on top level of power menu
Navigation buttons can be placed left, right or centered on the lower bar
Added TitaniumBackup (in appsdata) for quick restore after you installed a new ROM
Added GooManager for updates of the ROM
Added JellyBean 4.3 compatible Google apps
Edited APN list to cover Softbank Japan
Adds free hosts file
Removed Cyanogenmod initialisation app
Removed Cyanogenmod updater
Removed Cyanogenmod wallpapers
Removed all live wallpapers

How to install:
Get the ROM
From my homepage​From Goo.IM​From Mega​From XDA-developers projects​
Copy it to your internal SDcard
Reboot the tablet into recovery mode (CWM or TWRP, both works if you have the latest version)
In case you come from a ROM that is not Android 4.3 then a factory reset / full wipe is necessary. I recommend a full wipe in any case to get a clean installation.
Flash the ROM
Wipe cache and dalvik-cache
Reboot

Too bad, the S4 is really a nice ma hind. I love it. And I give a s..t on this Knox thing. I had never quality issues with any of my devices. Therefore I don't care if Knox is storing that I flashed a non-original ROM.

Beside of knox it really is a nice device. And it's not really about quality issues, it's more because of my provider's "warranty" behaviour. They even will change my battery - as long as the device will look completely untouched...
And with knox, it won't look like that after a few hours

Same bugs as CM10.2 has. But runs nice on my S4, good enough for daily use.

Sorry, slow upload tonight. Started the uploads in parallel to writing the posts, but it takes longer than usual. And Goo.IM doesn't allow uploads at the moment, as they are updating their server structure.

the antutu score is great: 34601
the rom is somehow stable with few bugs:
1- no charging animation when the phone is off
2- no themes work with it since all themes now supports only CM11-
3- some samsung apps can't be installed
4- the launcher does not have "hide app" option
5- few times when I restart the phone it does not start
6- the battery percentage inside the circle is very tiny and red which can't be read easily
7- the flash light does not work from the notification panel
uptill now there is nothing annoying

If you configure firmware - battery is good. I am happy)

What is it?
It is an LineageOS 14.1-based ROM for Xperia Z1 with some Sony Official Sources. This rom is worked to be as stable as possible to be used as a daily driver. I've found it on one of thousands Japanese forums, and share it to XDA members. The firmware is not mine so I will update download links as soon, as developer upload new builds on his server. This ROM has aroma installer on Chinese language, but i help you to install it. Who can use it
It is only for Z3 with UNLOCKED and UPGRADED BOOTLOADERS​
Prerequisites:
TWRP installed in the FOTAKernel/recovery partition
Last sony stock version
How to install?
Turn off your device
Flash stock sony through Flashtool
Flash a TWRP recovery through adb or ADB Run
Boot into TWRP recovery
Choose downloaded zip and click install it
[*]You will see aroma on Chinese language. Don't be afraid! Choose in first section first variant and in second section choose your model. For D6603 you wil need 1 variant. Then click next!
[*]On this page DON'T choose any variant of installing. Then click next. On next page DON'T choose all variants too.
[*]Then wait for install
[*] Installed! Disable auto-reboot on last page, and then click exit. Done!
Aroma Installer now on English. Just follow the instructions!
Wipe cache, dalvik, data
Boot into system
Done!!! You've made it!!! Great bro!!!

I used 2.1.0 version two days ago coming from los for superlamic and I have some issues
- The charging stops and has to unplug charger cable and plug again
- The battery loses charging very quickly especially after any restart
- The sound of the speakers is very low as well as phone calls sound
- The keyboard disappears continuously while typing
- You did not refer to solving these problems so I will not try this version and i will back to los for superlamic waiting to hear from you soon

Using for one week and The rom is awesome..
- battery lifetime = good
- Charging = good
- Ram = good
List of bugs :-
- Sometimes.. Random screen touch freeze and i have to turn off the screen and turn on again once or more than one time.
- Replay messaging apps like what's app from notification not working.
- need to remove call notification while watching video or something.
- switch between network 2g, 3g and 4g not working.
- Radio fm is needed

Unfortunately there are few (I don't know how to name it ...) "errors" ? (Xperia Z1 C6903)
It doesn't matter which options I'm choosing during installation in Aroma - AR, "Whats new", "Chinese keyboard" - are always installed.
I have NO IDEA how to install Gaps, althought I'm choosing this option in Aroma - after restart - no Gapps installed.

FAQ.
Q: My phone not bootup (bootloop) after flashing this ROM.
A: This is because i'm disabled force encryption. Just use format data in custom recovery to solve this issue.

Not sure if this is common with non stock ROM, but trying to encrypt the phone from the OS fails and results in a lock out. At least for me.
Is there any way to re-enable encryption?
No bugs encountered after roughly 3 hours of use.

Think I found a minor bug, the location icon in the status bar sometimes fail to disappear. Indicating it is permanently in use. Turning location on/off does not remove it, nor does aeroplane mode.
Only a full reboot seems to correctly remove the icon.
The toggle to turn location on/off works fine, just the status bar icon dosn'te go away.
EDIT:
Beta version 2 seems to have fixed this, at least it seems to be working correctly after updating.

I guess aex needs ,too
my phone can't boot without sony aosp binaries.

wifi can not open...

Thanks for the rom, but i have little issue. My device won't boot. Isn't BootLoop, just blocked on boot image. How to fix? Thanks
