Custom Rom

My Dad recently bought this device.
Why still no good custom rom for this phone?
Anything problem with root or bootloader or recovery?
Or
Still no developer to build it?

Look at the dev section, the smart guys are working on it but it don't seems to be an easy nut to crack...

They are trying to Port the CM/MIUI Rom.
I really appreciate that.
What about Custom ROM?

CyanogenMod and MIUI ROMs are custom ROMs.
If you're asking for additional custom ROMs, AFAIK no one has yet done so.

I'm asking about Custom Rom which is made out of Official Rom(Arc Rom).
Because unwanted Application removed,app2sd etc....

So root your dad's device and remove the junk
I think noone released such a ROM because we all want to keep the ability to do updates through OTA.

Is it possible to install a custom rom onto my sony xperia s whilst my bootloader says that is isn't unlockable? Or is there any ways around it, any help would be muchly appreciated

the bootloader must be unlocked in order to load custom(3rd party) kernels and custom roms i.e. cyanogenmod, aokp, slimroms etc. but it is possible to load a modified stock kernel and stock roms without unlocking bootloader.

Stock based ROMs, as XZX, SSpeed and a few others, you can. CM and AOSP based, no.

Custom and Modified kernels need an unlocked bootloader.

Install roms ??

hey i have just rooted my phone but if i suddenly choose to install a new rom in the future, will i still have the memo function ?

..............................have you unlocked the bootloader too?please do it as fast as you can,if you don't want to get into "certificate security error".
If you flash a custom rom based on LG firmware,yes you have all the functions. If you flash a CM based rom,no,you will lose every LG goodies. You decide what you want/need.
Consider this the first and last warning about unlocking the bootloader.I will ignore any other discussion on this matter.i don't like repeating myself.

and another newbie question - how can is ee if it is the same firmware as lg ?
i have rooted and oc´de my other htc incredible s, so i am not completly new

We have only 3 roms based on lg fw. Look on faq. Come on guys,think a litle. Do you think you are the first to have this phone?this questions have already been answered.

u have to unlockbootloader by freegee on playstore. and do guide about that rom of thread that u want to flash.

Xperia TL Stock Roms/Flashing

NOW, I know that I cannot use custom roms such as Cyanogenmod and others with my locked bootloader.
Just found out I can use stock roms on it though. Im confused if its the same process as flashing a custom rom.
And is it worth flashing stock roms and which rom I should get. I'm asking because 4.3 was just released for the Xperia but I'll be waiting for months before I get it thanks to AT&T. Thanks a bunch!!

I am Not new to Custom Roms..
But I am little Confused about which ROM to Flash and how to Root.
There are manny ROOT methods , but I am confused which one will work..
I was not going to jump on custom ROMs.. But due to the **** 5.0 update I have to..
I am also Bored Of LG UI .
Please Suggest Me The best method to Unlock Bootloader, flash custom recovery.
Suggest me the Best Battery efficient ROM.
Ill Use G3Tweakbox for UI changes..
Suggest me a rom which supports G3Tweakbox.

Start off firstly by going back to KitKat. Root that. Then start to experiment with ROMS.
Use the search function.
