can anyone help please
i have been trying for the past couple of weeks to get my earphones to work on custom ROM and failing miserably.
i am using a t-mobile samsung galaxy s3.
i was originally on official firmware 4.1.2 which i rooted and flashed CM11 but was unable to get my earphones to work. i tried liquid smooth and had the same results.
after doing some reading i realized someone also had a similar problem with their galaxy y and the responses were telling him to update firmware.
so i unrooted and updated to 4.3 (the latest update for d2tmo) and rooted again and flashed CM11 again and im still having the same problem any advice would really be appreciated, i dont like the stock ROM and travel quite a journey to work and listening to music really helps.

HI, i think im in really deep Sh*t. Today i successfully rooted my galaxy tab 3 10.1 and after that i tried to flash a stock rom 4.2.2
(i tried this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2625805 both stock and rooted still in bootloop)
not a very experienced android user, but i had no trouble before with custom roms on phones, now with the tab im in very tough position, so i hope you guys can help me or my wife will kill me or worse divorce me :crying:
I wanted to try this because the tab was on auto update and with the 4.4.2 update made things very messy, apps werent working like facebook chat viber and other. Please if you have any tips fire away...

Luckily i managed to fix the problem on my own, PhilzAdvCW and this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-3/development-10/rom-100-stock-4-4-2-kitkat-p5210-wifi-t2848279 helped me

Can Someone please tell me if there is a way to revert back to the 4.2.2 OS on the samsung galaxy S4 I'm with T-Mobile and the current OS is 4.4.4. I called Samsung yesterday and they said there wasn't any way of doing it. Reason I am wanting to do so is cause I have a new radio in my truck and it had AppRadio 3 on it and it requires the 4.2.2 OS. If anyone could help me that would be great thank you.

Are you sure the requirement is not a least 4.2.2? It just doesn't sound right
why would i get a new truck? that makes no sense lol.. and ya I've called pioneer and asked them they said i need to have my phone at 4.2.2 OS because they have not yet updated there products yet. They are working on it but don't know how long its going to be.
You can't got from stock 4.4.4 to stock 4.2.2.
Once you move your bootloader beyond 4.2.2, you can't go back.
What you could do is flash a 4.2.2 based custom ROM onto your phone, so that your effective OS would be at that level. You would still have the 4.4.4 boot loader and modem, but you could go back to a Jellybean ROM.

Salutations! Im wondering if it is a good idea for me to upgrade to Lolipop on the galaxy Tab S T800. Right now I am running stock rom, only because I still havent figured out how to get some good custom roms on my the device. My biggest concern though in upgrading is losing the ability to be able to use customs roms in the future if i choose to do so. I am still frustrated for updating my Galaxy s4 and having to use safestrap and being limited with which roms I could install. Is this a similar situation, that I will face if I do the upgrade. Also I havent found any good youtube vids walking me through how to get some good customs roms on the tab S.

Not much roms makers this days for our devices. Well IMO its ok to update to lollipop because the Rom is smooth makes everything snappy. As said in the thread there were those who are able to downgrade back to kitkat for some reason, so your bootloader wont be locked. And just wait lollipop roms will pop out soon
My phone was working fine before but after updating to official KitKat 4.4, phone started giving trouble like hanging problem, camera problem etc. So, I rooted my phone and installed custom rom - AllianceRom_N7100 on my samsung galaxy note 2. But i'm having trouble with this custom rom as well it is not working fine.
I just want to install stock google rom Jelly bean 4.2 on my note 2 because that was the most stable rom running without any trouble. I have read threads but i haven't found solution for myself yet. Can anyone please guide me how to do the same? Thanks in advance
Hi got the same problem before.. even brick my phone.. fortunately there is sammobile and download the stock rim plus odin then problem solved. . Just register to sammobile anyways it's free.. hope this helps

Hey guys , i`m new here, i was wondering if you could help me with my galaxy note 2 shv-e250l.
I got tired of samsung 4.4.2 kikat touchwiz and also my phone started getting laggy.
I would be very greatfull if you could help with step by step tutorials, i have never installed a custom rom, or a custom recovery, i`ve had a galaxy xcover1 before my note2, so i couldn`t really try any custom roms on my xcover.
I noticed that there`s a marhsmallow rom (android 6.0) and i would like to know if i can install it, or if i could install a cyanogen mod.
Also i`d love to hear what custom roms you use on your note2 phones and what are your thoughts regarding the experience you had with them.
