try to restart try combination (VOLUP+POWER)OR(VOLDOWN+POWER)
If no change connect your phone with usb and try to restart phone with adb command ( adb reboot )
i had that issue when i did it. had to hold all 3 buttons for 15 seconds... booted into a Safe mode. Also have to use this if im plugged into a usb and powered off (shows battery icon as charging. red text saying development purposes only) power button+volume up+ volume down.

Hey guys
i tried to get in fastboot mode by holding volume down+power.
it didn't work so i tried it with volume up+power. then it vibrates more intensely and the hboot logo flashes for a second and then it turns off.
i cant even boot the phone right now as it just boots in to hboot logo and then it turns off. i tried also to get in fastboot but in shows up for 2 seconds and then it shuts off.
my bootloader is locked and im on stock
please help me
many thanks in advance
Check if fast-boot in settings is disabled or not. If not, disable it. Then try vol down plus power button.
Does adb detect your phone? Alternatively, you can also do : adb reboot bootloader
Edit : My bad. Saw that you can't boot.
See that your phone is charged and then try vol down trick.
hey
just got it replaced at the store. But thanks for the reply +1
Hey guys,
I've flashed quite a few ROMs in the past 2 years. Today, I flashed a new ROM and it worked fine. After that, I installed Nova Launcher and changed the density to 160 and the phone asked for a reboot. However, it isn't booting after the reboot. I can see the white HTC screen for 1-2 seconds, after that the display dims and then turns off. Can't go into the bootloader or the recvovery. The phone charges normally (can see the orange light) and on connecting to the PC, it gives the successful connection sound. Any tips on how to fix this? I've done S-OFF long back if that helps. I've tried removing the battery and inserting after 5-10 mins, however I'm still getting the same output.
EDIT: Guys, just noticed that the phone isn't turning off after the HTC white boot screen. The backlight starts and then turns off after a second, and then starts again for a second and this keeps repeating..
Pull the battery.

Tried it a 100 times, same result ..
UPDATE: Though I can't see anything on the screen, the adb seems to recognise it.

Did you reboot holding power and volume-down?

Yeah, tried all possible combinations incl the usual power + vol down. The HTC logo appears for 5 seconds and then I can only see the backlight on the screen for another 2 seconds. This backlight then turns off and turns on repeatedly every 2 seconds and continues till I remove the battery again.
In short: No bootloader access, no recovery access. Just can see the device after I connect it to pc and type adb devices.
UPDATE: Fixed. Used the adb, on typing adb reboot-bootloader, I could access the bootloader. Thanks guys!
Same problem, Please Help!
My DHD, passes the HTC logo, then goes blank. The backlight doesnt go off, its just blank and remains like that indefinitely.
There is no charging led light when on the blank state,
The blank state does get detected by the computer.
Fastboot Commonader V1.51 says no fastboot device detected.
(P.S. My volume keys are water damaged and do not work, so i cannot use Vol- and power)

just try plug your phone to pc...then open cmd n change source to adb folder that you place..then type "adb devices" if your phone detected in there..then you can continue to next command type "adb reboot bootloader" or "adb reboot recovery"..next if you success go into recovery..just flash/ install another rom from there..
hopefully can help...
That worked. Thanks
oI flashed cwm over to my root, bootloader is unlocked and everything. but when I go into recovery mode I get a black screen with nothing on it, and no touch funtion or anything . I thoughght it was bricked until I held the power button for 10 seconds and my computer registered it as being disconnected through usb and the charge light came on . I then flashed twrp over and still, nothing in recovery mode . just a black screen with my computer registering usb input. I don't know what to do. I had to restart it many times pressing the volume down button, holding down power button ect. before it would boot normally but the recoverymode leads to nothing
Same here i have samsung grand 2 rooted my phone and tried to flash cwm, twrp and philz recovery through odin and flashify but when i go to recovery blank screen appers and i have to pull out the battery and restart my phone

This guide is to recover the Zuk Z2 (plus) from hard brick state
So you might be stuck here -
Phone is not turning on
Phone Reboot and screen go black with notification light on and you are unable to switch it off.
How To-
1. How to switch it off
- First this is happening because you have locked you're bootloader
- You have black screen and led on so just hold power button then Zuk logo will be flash after that you will get black screen again and the phone is preparing to reboot but before that the led will get turn off immediately release power button.
(It's crucial timing but when rebooting your device vibrates so it's the time when phone is about to start vibrate while LED is off just leave power button)
- You have it Your phone is switched off
(Tip- Let it reboot once after that don't leave the power button and after that led will get off you have to remove finger from power button this is tricky )
2. Going to Bootloader
-First connect the USB to laptop
-After you have switched off your phone press volume up and down together and with holding buttons connect the phone to USB and you will see the fastboot mode.
3. Unlock your phone
-Remember the unlock bootloader file in your email re download it and unlock your bootloader again
- Don't reboot right away as you don't have any OS installed Even if it boot it might give problem.
- after unlocking phone you will see phone rebooted press power button reboot press volume the volume button and go to reboot option
4. For Userdata
- I suggest you to flash recovery instead of using old installed one.
- go to fastboot and flash the TWRP.
- Boot into TWRP and you will see your data on internal storage is present so just sideload ROM or if you have in internal storage just flash
( Note- in case you are using TWRP 3.4 newer roms with factory based ROM will flashed without problem in case you are trying to flash old Oreo non-treble ROMs you need to wipe like you do for normal ROM installation and reboot to recovery then flash Oreo Non-treble ROM otherwise they will not boot even after flashing)
Or
- QFIL ZUI 4.0.199ST as this QPST
- When selecting the XML file select retain userdata one so it won't erase your userdata partitions
5. In case you want to flash ZUI
- Load files in QFIL
- To reboot phone into EDL from Fastboot mode type following command
Code:
fastboot -i0x2b4c oem reboot-edl
- It will get detected in QFIL just hit Download.

Hey I have a hardbricked zuk but the only signs of life is a white led and at times a vibration when I connect it to pc there is a a port written as Qualcomm HS-USB Diagnostics 900E (COM4) . I've seen quite a lot of threads of booting it to edl and deep flashing is not a choice I'm willing to take . I'd appreciate it if you are able to help me
thanks
Thanks a lot buddy.
Bricked today by flashing a baseband.
Revived as per your guide.
Actually i'm never tensed about flashing roms, Kernels, fonts, apps, mods anything and bricking our device.
There are so many good guys to save our a$$...................
Thanks buddies....... :good::good::good::good:
I have TWRP and LineageOS with Magisk installed on my A50. Normally, when my phone boots, I get the following sequence:
1. Phone vibrates.
2. Samsung Logo appears for a very short time, with bootloader unlocked warning at the bottom.
3. A screen showing a bootloader unlock warning at the top and "PRESS POWER KEY TO CONTINUE" appears.
4. After a while or if you press the power key, an additional unofficial software warning appears in red letters at the bottom.
5. After some time the phone continues to boot normally.
My problem is that after the latest reboot ("reboot into recovery" via power menu), it gets stuck at step 4 and won't continue to boot, neither recovery nor system, even if I wait for tens of minutes.
What I've tried:
-reboot with volume +/-/poweroff
-reboot with volume volume -/poweroff
-all of the following with and without USB connected to PC:
-power/volume +/- at boot, both starting after logo screen as well as starting before logo screen, as well as releasing power at logo screen
-power/volume + at boot, both starting after logo screen as well as starting before logo screen, as well as releasing power at logo screen
-power/volume - at boot, both starting after logo screen as well as starting before logo screen, as well as releasing power at logo screen
-volume + at boot, both starting after logo screen as well as starting before logo screen
-volume - at boot, both starting after logo screen as well as starting before logo screen
-volume +/- at boot, both starting after logo screen as well as starting before logo screen
None of these helped. I just get the normal sequence 1-4 and then stuck every damn time. Can't get into recovery or download mode. Can't even power off, obviously.
Is my phone gone for good?

With some help I managed to get into download mode, and from there reflash stock rom with ODIN.
Basically, you need to reboot the phone with power/vol+/vol- and as soon as the screen goes black, you release power but keep pressing the volume buttons, and also immediately connect the USB cable with the PC. Timing is key.

bro, you helped me alot, i'm stucked at this screen maybe 2 hours I didnt know what to do.
Btw, I've it just in 1 time =))
I got a way easier Method which has saved me several times
Is something i came up myself
Il be as precise as i can be so everyone understands!
1.Plug the phone to the wall (Your charger to the outlet)
2. Hold Power And Volume - (Volume down) until the phone shows the second charging animation (Which is the one after the first image of the phone charging [A circle with the lightning icon in the middle], this second screen shows a charging animation and the percentage of the battery) This indicates that the phone is fully Turned Off
3. Unplug your phone and the charger off the wall and bring it to your computer
4. Plug your cable to your Computer then back on your phone Hold Volume + and Volume - (Volume up and Volume Down) and plug your phone to your computer WHILE HOLDING BOTH VOLUME BUTTONS.
This little trick will put your phone in download mode so you can restore your device using Odin OR Flash Twrp with Odin and boot to right into Twrp (There is a way to do it without turning the phone on and having to go back to step 1, Follow this Tutorial to do it
(
)
I Hope this helps you all
And Happy Flashing!
