What does DE Phone mean?
I know this is newbie question but what does a "DE Phone" mean. I have searched the forums and googled it but I can't get a straight answer as to what the term means. Thank you for any replies.

"DE" stands for Developer Edition. You can purchase it directly from Samsung and it comes with an unlocked bootloader. The normal retail version comes with a locked bootloader.

ROOT / UNROOT links broken
^ (sad for a general solution that the links are broken, not sure though if the root update.zip differs in any significant way from other root update.zips that can be found on the net?)

I was just browsing around with lollipop for Q1010i found this page
Anyone here can try and see if it really is lollipop. Coz the link he gave redirected to some survey site which I wasn't able to get past through it.
If anyone gets to download all the parts try PM me the ROM if possible . Also tell us if it really works or what exactly it is.

I purchased my firephone last week and rooted and flashed the new firmware. Its so easy and especially with kingroot. As long as you back up before you flash the ROM any problems you can restore the official fireos

u should search for a Lollipop Stock rom (or u can call it RUU, idk how to use words ==", cuz my bad English) and flash it through HBOOT. It will update ur baseband. Then u can flash any Lollipop rom without caring about wifi.
I've just been very angry when i was in your case, but I'm happy now, cuz i found the solution. lol
