Optimus 7 E900h has no custom rom either.
there isn't any "custom" rom for real wp7 phones , only the hd2 has custom rom's
before we can have custom rom's we need to find a way to lower the security and get some nativ app's running (isn't that easy) then we need a Hspl to get that rom on the phone and we need a kitchen (one with reloc for all the parts of the ROM).
when we have that all it will be possible to make custom rom's , so don't keep your breath wile waiting because it will take long to get that all

Thread cleaned, if this thread doesn't stay on topic, it will be closed. I don't have a reason to believe this was from a stolen phone. People leak things all the time, even before the phone is released . The way this is laid out seems to be in a similar manner of an HTC RUU, this is probably used to get regular Focus's to demo mode.

The download link is still working.
The download contains a file called "Focus.exe". It is a flash-tool with ROM-files embedded. When it is started, it will first extract the embedded ROM files. There will be 4 files extracted in your temp-folder. Then the flash-tool is started and waiting for a phone in download-mode to be connected. You should obviously not do that. If you want to analyze this ROM you should start Focus.exe and make a copy of these 4 files in your temp-folder and then close it again.
I'm not really sure what a Demo Mode ROM is, so I want to know what's so bad about it?
The thing is that I have a bricked Focus on my hands which doesn't boot beyond the Samsung Logo. The only solution I can think of is flashing it with a new ROM but since there aren't any stock ROMs available, I can't do that.
Would flashing it with the Demo ROM bring it back to life?

It does not come on them, it is put on them by the AT&T staff.

I have upped the files that the Samsung/WP7 software dumps to the temp folder in case someone wishes to have direct access to them for analysis.
There are about 4 files, all *.tmp
one is 300+ megs, one is 20, the other 2 are small

I thought about that too, but it turns out its only a Delta update, not a complete Firmware/ROM so it isn't possible.
I'm trying to be optimistic here, but considering there is absolutely no developer interest in the Focus, I'm not holding my breath anymore

Yes my device has the same problem. What I learned from all this was that HTC smartphones are a much better choice since they at least have developers working on them.

I bought my tab 3 10.1 on a french distributor (RueDuCommerce). It works well (as good as can a tab 3). I root this tablet and install some ROM (to remove the boring TouchWiz). It works but big apps like XBMC crashed. I think that's because it uses too many memory.
I gave it to my mum, so I flashed a stock ROM via this site. After a while, every apps clashed, at start or in use.
So decided to flash a stock ROM from Sammobile and it's the same.
Can you help me, by show me how to restore everything correctly to use my warranty ? Or fix this bug ? Because it's unusuable :/

I'll (maybe ) will soon acquire this tablet (I'm still trying to compare what I find is 200 €) and I have some questions before making my choice.
First of all I love the big games such as Modern Combat 5, Real Racing 3 or World of tank blitz and want to know if they usually turn out well .
Then I usually root my Android device and I want to know if after the root and TWRP must unlock the bootloader to flash the ROM such as those under Lollipop .

I'm trying to find a way to get this device to play XCOM Enemy within, I've tried to see if there is a thread on XDA supporting this idea before posting this, if missed it and there is a link that someone can provide I would greatly appreciate it. However if there is not one I would like some help with someone who has some free time to assist.
I've never rooted before but I am not opposed to the idea(if it would help me accomplish this) with some instructions on how do it.

Have you tried finding the apk file and installing it manually? I've installed one or two apps this way and had no issues on my Tab S
(you don't need to have a rooted device to do this)
Edit: XCOM and EW are BY FAR two of my favourite games. And XCOM 2 is definitely in the same league
I have 2 Samsung Galaxy J2's S260DL (Pie 9.1) and J260T1 (Oreo 8.1) OEM Bootloader isnt in Devolper Options, RootKing Wont work, nor will framaroot etc.. I wanna use an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller using otg and pu and play coord... All i need is Temp Root Access to Install .KCM files (Key layout) and or install another kernel or downgrade it.. idk im a noob at this but have done alot of research as you can tell.. Please if anyone has got a solution or an idea.. these are good phones truely but i dont understand why i cant buy something and tear it apart and make it more personalized i understand warranty and stupid ppl thinking.. hmm yes Ill Try this Motorolla Razor firmware it should improve my 2020 Smartphone.. then cray and blame everyone but themselves for not taking the time to understand a little more about it especially when every way ive seen to root your phone comes with a disclaimer stating .. this is bad ass your phone will be amazing.. btw we aremt gonna pay for your dumb ass mistakes..
