There's 2 new lock screen scenes available (these come through the update service which can be seen under battery usage > fire 's).
I got Ferris wheel and sweet dreams. This is quite a good sign I think, as it shows Amazon is still working on the fire phone.

Semi-related but I got an email saying " I want to let you know that we are working on additional feature for Fire Phone as part of the next software" when I submitted feedback a few days ago. They also haven't released FireOS 4 yet so they better be still working on the fire phone. Native VPN support is still listed as coming soon in their listing.

Anyone care to share how I would be able to remove those navbars at the bottom and just use the slider? I want the lock screen as simple as possible. Thanks.

I just emailed the developer about this yesterday and he said it was a planned feature in a coming update for rooted devices.

Dope stuff. I think I'll write him an email also. It would be nice to hide em. Plus a couple of instances I have been able to bypass by quickly tapping misc nav buttons... Thanks.

There is a black bar on the left side as the page was not properly shown. Right side was partially cut off as well. This happened rather frequently until I moved the page a little.
Is this a problem with the market app or my phone? Anyone knows?

I had this on .62FW yesterday. In fact, if you look carefully, this screen shouldn't be shown here. It's showing you "top paying apps" in the "featured" selection.
I guess it's a small bug from market.
Yes, you're right! It's on the wrong page! ! Mine is still on .42 fw though..
If it's the problem of the app, then guess we'll just have to wait for their next update.

for some reason when my auto rotate option is disabled in settings, the youtube app dont rotate anymore. It used to work on my HTC Amaze even when the auto rotate was off. Theyre both different phones so i dont know what causing the problem
I actually saw a video about this a couple of weeks ago(it was sakitech) and it was a feature I heavily looked forward to. It is how you turn every single app black.
1. Tap software version enough times to enable developer options.
2. Open developer Orton's, and scroll down to "Force dark mode"..
3. Your done! All of your apps should be night mode.
Mine that went, were Ebay, Amazon, and voicemail. But now, every single app is black. Also, and I'm not seeing what it's doing(maybe because I have Hex installed and running), but it states that it is in with theming..
Hope this makes someone else as happy as it's made me...

I took this from my 2nd gen Fire TV box. It works well in the UK with a VPN. USA users can just grab it from the official store.

First, thanks for this. I did notice that a newer version (v1.1.0) is available on APKmirror.
What's interesting about this is the menu is in landscape and the highlighting in the picture suggests it's compatible with remote usage. The 'regular' version of this app has neither.
This could be great for Android televisions, but running the app after installation gives me a page saying it's incompatible with the device. I don't know if that is a check of the hardware specs or if it's an Amazon device.
I started poking at the code (and I have little skill there) and didn't see what might bypass that.
Any have any ideas?
Has anyone modded this app for Android TV OS?
