Moto 360 - Top 5 faces - Moto 360

here you go - just my opinion

If you want to have fun, get either Facer or Watch face maker, take a picture of your current non-smart watch, and make a watch face that resembles that.
Here's mine - reminds me of the Fossil Diesel watch.

FACER moto 360 watch face

Just looking for some feedback on my watchface for the moto 360. Posted on facerepo.com

Looks sweet!
Looks very calming. My first though is this would be the watch face that Bob Ross would have worn painting a happy little tree.

Huawei watch vs my Moto 360 1st Gen

Just got the Huawei watch. It is certainly very very nice. Having a full circle and no flat tire is great. A couple of things though. With the Huawei watch when I turn my wrist it takes 2-3 times of flicking my wrist before it turns on, not sure why that is. The Moto watch pretty much turns on every time without fail. Second the leather band on the Huawei watch is IMO too fancy compared to the Moto 360. The Huawei watch is something it seems you would wear with a suit and tie, where as the Moto can be wore with shorts or jeans and a t-shirt. The moto 360 also gets much brighter. On the Huawei watch I have to set it to 5 brightness and on the Moto at the same brightness its like 3. The leather band is very very stiff on the Huawei watch. I hope Huawei comes out with like a sport leather band like on the Moto 360 I would change to that in a second. And also wear as the Moto 360 has an APP in the play store to check your watch for stuff Huawei has nothing. If the Moto 360 didn't have that dumb flat tire for me anyone I would get the Moto 360 over the Huawei watch. But Because of the flat tire I will probably keep the Huawei watch.
The flat tire gets you auto brightness tho, right? Don't u think that's worth it? Got my Huawei yesterday and already its starting to irritate me having to manually adjust the brightness, also as the menu is not one click away or can it be adjusted for easy access somehow? Agree on the band but I guess that will get more comfortable in a couple of days.
Here's something to try...
Create an all black watch face...no hands, text or anything...just black. Now go in a dark closet with all the lights turned off and see what color your screen is.
Bet its not black...
Because of this and my fear of Huawei's likely lack of response to this and the potential for long term shortened pixel life, I've gone to the Moto 360 2015.
Yes I read the screen issues here on the forums as well. I tried that, and in ambient mode my screen is pitch black and off 100%. It's only when I wake the screen to normal mode and the brightness is set to 100% that i can see a bit of a tint and glow. That shouldn't happen I know but in ambient mode it's off which is 95% of the time so I'm not worried about that.
I do love the amoled blacks tho, if the Moto had amoled it would have been my first choice as well. I'm still in doubt if I'll keep the Huawei, it's just a lot of money for something not perfect.

I get to my menu with a swipe left on the watch face. Easy enough for me.
I'm currently using the G Watch R and as far as this watch is concerned, I would not want a flat tyre + ambient sensor. Setting to a constant 4 gives me enough brightness and batt life. I can go up to 6 and I'll still be comfortable with the batt life. Just not sure how Huawei watch compares to this though. Main reason to look at other watches is to get a non-plated finish (s.steel) so that color won't peel off upon being scratched.
GwatchR is durable.. but erm I'm used to G-shocks and accidents do happen. And then there's a Urbane...

Well, I did it the way you said. Changed the face it into black with Pujie Black and went into a dark room. It's not red to me, but deep black .
Just got a Huawei watch to replace my Moto 360 first gen as well. Have you noticed that you have to speak louder, much much louder to use voice commands. I tested the volume and the Moto 360 works at 50db while it takes 70-75db for the Huawei watch. Which is just ridiculous I have to yell at my watch now and it drives me crazy. I can't use a watch like this. Also the haptic motor is so weak I rarely ever feel it, I hear it more than I feel it. Can't believe I wanna go running back to my Moto 360 after trying this watch for 2 days. These issues are much worse than a flat tire.

Tag Heuer Watch faces

Tag Heuer Watch faces
Do we've Tag Heuer watch faces for this watch, I am willing to buy this watch I would like to know if this is worh purchasing or should I go for Moto 360 2nd Gen ?
https://www.facerepo.com/app/search/results?sortOrder=relevance&query=tag+heurer&page=1
I believe it's worth purchasing.
I found a review / compare of both of them: http://www.gizmag.com/moto-360-2-vs-huawei-watch-comparison-review/39774/
The 360 gen 2 has this thing called a "flat tyre look" where the bottom of the screen is cut off.. I don't like that at all. The Huawai looks better and I think closer to a proper watch.
My main driver for buying the Huawai is that it looks smart when I wear business clothes. The 360 is close and would also do the job but the cut off bit of the screen looks odd and annoying.
The 360 in ambient mode looks very pixilated, where the HW looks crystal clear and defined. Plus with the sapphire scratch resistant face you'll never scratch it. I've got 10 year old TAG's with spotless sapphire faces. It's a truly awesome mineral second hardest to diamonds.
The watch is frigging awesome.
Sorry to write on an old post, but since the release of the Connected I was wondering if you could get the official watch faces to the Huawei watch. Thanks!
They are on https://facerepo.com/app/
Choose your watch as the Huawei and then scroll through a few of the pages. You will see around 3 to 4 pages in the Connected faces. My Huawei is charging but here is one on my LG R. First on is fully on and the second is dimmed. Very nice face on the LG but even better on the Huawei! Pm me if you cant them.

Huawei my next SmartWatch? Some questions!

Hello,
i bought a Galaxy S7 Edge (was an Iphone 6 Plus and Apple Watch User).
But now i need a new Smartwatch. Not really sure if i will buy the Moto 360 V2 or the Huawei Watch.
In my opinion the black little sensor bar on the Moto is a disturbing.
But more important for me are the WatchFaces. It seems as the Moto 360 has more Whatchfaces (like the Repo Faces of some luxury brands ) than the Huawei Watch?
Is this point right or can I get these Designs on the Huawei Watch, too?
Sorry for my bad english,my friends.English isn't my main language.

You can download all the watchfaces from the PlayStore that you want. Paid or Free and can even make your own.

IMHO watchfaces are not relevant at all in the choice of a smartwatch, as it's always possible to find the wished watchface somewhere or to design one by yourself (using Watchmaker).
More important to consider are the hardware differences (design, screen, etc.) and the price...
Most Android Wear faces are compatible with most of the devices and it's usually stated if they're not. The only big issues can be square vs round watch faces and low resolution, since the Huawei Watch has a higher resolution screen

I'm really a Newcomer in this topic. So i can't make Whatchfaces by myself and so i am depend on the developers of this great Designs.
Most Watchfaces which look good for me are designed for the Moto. But i don't know if it's such a problem because of the Screen Resolution.
If not I would go with Huawei. All in all,the price isn't an important point for me.
I can't buy a Tag Heuer Connected but the price between the Huawei and Moto is ok.

It's hard to say without any specific examples. Can you link any of the Moto faces you're interested in? But I have only come across very few faces which looked low-res on the Huawei Watch, most are fine since everyone uses high-res graphics anyway.

I do not know if that is so like to see, but I'm interested in Watch Faces like in this thread .
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-360/themes-apps/watchmaker-500-watchfaces-monster-pack-t3276583
Edit : It seems as if this kind of Watchfaces have this black sensor bar in every Watchface. So it's hard to find this kind of Watchfaces originally made for the Huawei

Most of these watchfaces even though they were originally released for the moto will work on Huawei. I have many of them installed on my watch and they work just fine. I have not used this source which you have mentioned but I hvae obtained them from other places like facerepo. You will need to purchase the full version of Watchmaker however

Maybe you don't know this site:
http://www.watchawear.com/watches/watch-faces.html
There are hundreds of free watchfaces to be used with Watchmaker.
And actually even a child can learn to use Watchmaker..
Watchmaker and Huawei watch works perfectly. You can use any round watch face no matter if it was designed for Moto or not.
Never had any issues.
Here you can also find plenty watchmaker watchfaces: https://plus.google.com/communities/106982503578105386202
I think his main concern is that Moto faces all have that flat tire look and it carries over to the Huawei watch. But they don't..that area is covered up. As an example look at this watch someone with a Moto posted: https://plus.google.com/photos/1132...202&sqsi=25e11c8c-fc50-42c4-95d4-fea916b927cd
I just installed the same watch face and took a screenshot of it (look below). It looks just fine Not flat tire and the resolution is fine.
Also when you install an app like WatchMaker, you can customize the watch face as you want, changing colors and shortcuts etc.

Thank You very much.
I thought that the Black Sensor Bar would be on everyone watch because they are made for the Moto Watch.
Am I right, that the link i posted earlier would be in Fullsize without the Black Bar?
In Facer they have all this Black Bar.
Thank You for your help.
