Setting up the launcher:

Install:

* Boot into recovery and Wipe Data/Factory Reset Before You Move On.

* While still in recovery: Wipe Cache Partition, and inside the advanced menu: Wipe Dalvik Cache and Fix Permissions - Just These Three Steps, Do Not Factory Reset Again. Sorry to ask but is this a port of miui? I don't think so actually... It's sort of a custom rom based on vibrant stock with a miui style theme, am I right?

yes if you have voodoo on you should disable it so it goes back to rfs

pt-br instructions
- Instructions
1. Boot into Clockwork Mod Recovery Mode using volume buttons.
2. (optional) Backup your current ROM.
3. Select "install zip from sdcard".
4. Select "choose zip from sdcard".
5. Select the .zip that you downloaded and confirm it.
6. Just follow the instructions and personalize the room
7. Wait for phone to boot (this may take up to ten minutes)
Obs.: If you dont select any gapps will be installed normal gapps.

edit: argh, can someone mirror the ROM download? rapidshare is to slow for non pro users and 4shared requires registration

The major difference is the possibility of personalize your installation with aroma installer , you can choose if want some mods like ,samsung apps, if you want gapps inverted or normal... The multi device support in one package only...

Inverted Gapps are Google Apps which are optimised for Super AMOLED screen. The white in the app is made black and the black in the app is made white. Looks uber cool!

the Aroma installer is pretty cool!!
ROM Controll FCs when entering the lockscreen options. any idea?
edit: it only happens when RC language is set to german. Switching to english fixed it

There is a problem with Keybord when you try to chance language.
Otherwise Aroma Installer is amazing.
And a question.
Why nobady uses as a standard aplication on ICS ( exept CM9) the international keyboard attached?

wow.. awasome Aroma installer, the rom seems very good, but
- Samsung App doesn't work.. After loggin in it displays NO NEW UPDATES and u cannot do anything..
- I don't have tried Viber yet, but since I noticed that number model is SGH-I9000 I presume it works correctly.. (The real problem is that when u change the number model Viber works, but Samsung App don't)
OT. Where can I find a HTC_IME mod compatible with ICS? (I can see it in the screenshot)..
Edit: Is datafix included? I can't see it in Etc/init.d

1) Download Color-Os v.2.5.zip File
2) Put into External/Internal SD Card
3) Go To CMW Recovery
4) Wipe Data/Factory Reset
5) Wipe Cache
6) From Advance Menu Do Delvik Cache Clear
7) Go in Mount And Storage select FORMAT SYSTEM
8) Select Intall From SD and Select file And Click YES
9) Select Color-Os v.2.5.zip And Select YES
10) Reboot
11) Congrats You have Color-OS Rom now....Report if you find bugs

Dear Friend,
Phone hangs while dialing. the call goes through but it hangs and need to restart the phone by taking out the battery.

Any bugs in Color OS v2.5?

My question was any other bugs than those mentioned in the main thread. Since I have a single phone I need to know about all the bugs beforehand.

Micromax color error
hi sir
i am glad to have this os to my micromax i downloaded this color os but after installtion i began to get error // like phone calls come and after 3 sec automatically disconnected then i get error phn calls is stopped unfortunatlly and when i open guest option then error and keyboard error ... touch is not somooth ....plz add a application hide option also in this ...like Clauncher hai . . . .

screen inverted
I installed this colorOS but after flashing when I restarted my phone,the screen got inverted...the orientation of screen is OK,but touch functions inverted...like touching in top left corner affects at bottom right corner...any help???

rom is very smooth but volte in india not working on jio network

Is this rom based on Global or China official rom?

Major features removed from Global beta
Hi,
Thanks for your efforts but this Rom is worthless due to below missing features, it must be in this rom.
1. VOLTE not working for any network worldwide specially in India on any Network, very disappointed.
2. OTP and notification folder missing in massage, no settings found.
3. Search option missing from notification bar.
4. Mi default boot animation missing.
5. Option to chose round or flat corner is missing
6. Battery, time and network settings is looks worst in notification, at least default option should be in setting.
7. GOOGLE SECURITY UPDATE should be for April.
8. MI app store app is missing and due to this we cannot update to latest MIUI apps.
9. Privacy lock is not working
10. Animation slow
Your efforts is great and we thankfull to you but above changes can make this Rom best than any one Mi 5 Rom in currently available. Please response.
