Cannot Copy - TWRP External SD Mounted - Verizon Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm receiving the attached error when attempting to copy files to either the internal or external sd storage when in TWRP. I am able to copy to the internal SD when the phone is booted. It doesn't seem to matter what type of file I attempt to copy, nor does the size of the file. The device also no longer shows up when trying to use ADB.
I'm running TWRP 2.8.4.0, the phone is rooted, usb debugging is enabled.
I've tried two separate USB cables, two separate computers, same result. Both computers running windows 7 x64. I've tried googling the problem, but I haven't been able to really find any good solutions.
Anyone have any ideas?
UPDATE: Able to bring it up with ADB again after flashing a new ROM, but I'm still unable to copy files when mounted in TWRP.

File Recovery

I need to recover some pics that somehow got deleted on my phone. Anyone know of a file recovery tool that works for the Nexus? Since the phone used MTP for connections to a PC, the internal drive is not seen as an attached drive like an external sdcard. Therefore, conventional file recovery tools won't recognize the storage.

Samsung Galaxy S i9000 internal sd card not working and touchscreen not responding

Hi. I have a Samsung galaxy S i9000 running a Jellybean 4.1 custom ROM. androidadvices. com/ update-galaxy-gt-i9000-stable-jellybean-411-firmware/#.UDJOV91mT9d
Everything's working fine until today when my laptop (Win7 OS) froze up while I was formatting the internal sd card of my phone.I restarted the laptop and phone and the internal sd card cannot be detected by either device anymore.
I tried to format the sd card multiple times to no avail. I tried to flash stock GB ROM. ODIN can detect the phone but cannot complete the process. It fails on "Setting Up Connection".
Up to the above process I was able to use my phone (it turns itself on, just can't use internal sd card). However, I made a stupid mistake of doing factory reset, cache wipe, and dalvik cache to reflash the JB ROM in hopes that it will fix it. Now, my phone is stuck on the Welcome screen (one with Choose Language and Start to setup) but the touchscreen isn't working so I can't select Start. The buttons on either side of the center button works, though. Only the touchscreen function is not working.
Now obviously, USB Debugging is not set up on my phone so I can't do a lot. My first question is: Is there a way to setup USB Debugging using ADB or from Recovery?
Additional info:
Recovery and Download mode are both working, although like I mentioned above, I cant reflash stock ROM because of no usb debugging and it fails in Odin. File Manager can be accessed from Recovery but it has no internal sd card directory. External sd card is ok, though, as well as the system files. But cannot install from internal sd card (obviously), cannot format sdcard, or do anything that has something to do with sdcard. It gives an error "E:\ can't mount sdcard"
When I connect the phone to the computer via USB, the phone "knows" that it is connected because the notification beep sounds and on Computer, it shows a new drive name (F but it says "Please Insert a disk into Removable Disk F.", which I believe, means it can detect it but cannot mount the storage.
I can also use adb.
So my questions are:
-How do I get the touchscreen functionality back?
-How can I enable my internal sd card to be mounted on the phone again?
-(same as above) How do I enable USB Debugging from adb or recovery?
I know I have a lot of issues on my phone but I would really appreciate it if you can help me. Thank you.
Did you find a solution?

Softbrick push file to SD card

My N7 is softbricked. I've been unable to flash it back to stock. I've tried several ways and recovery files and none of them work. Is it at all possible to push a zip file to the internal SD card while it's in the bootloader or something along those lines? Using the Nexus Root Toolkit I see that it is possible, however because it's softbricked it won't let me since I can't enable USB debugging and such.
Also, I think one of the problems I might be having is because it doesn't recognize anything as ABD when connecting.

Entered TWRP mode, somehow deleted Android, phone also refuses to receive files HELP!

As the title said I initially wanted to perform a force update on my phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 2) to Android 5.0, but being an idiot that I am I somehow apparently deleted Android completely causing my phone to be stuck in TWRP.
My friend recommended me to download a new ROM file but for some reason my phone's connection to my laptop seems very odd since it for some reason will not receive any files at all. Every attempt to transfer any files will fail (seemed like it was doing something but does nothing and fails) and whenever I try making a folder it will have a Error Creating Folder message.
Tried different cable? Different USB port? Different computer? Inserting an external SD card into the computer and copying the ROM to that then viewing the external in TWRP?
Easiest solution may be to flash a sock rom via Odin, twrp, and then the custom rom.

I tried different cables, checked all ports. The phone connects, but wont receive files

Cannot transfer file to internal or SD card.

HTC Sync manager was causing the problem. I can transfer files now.
Thanks to ckpv5 I was able to install the new firmware and TWRP. The phones got a new problem, when I try to transfer anything over to ether the internal storage or SD I get an error "Cannot copy - device stopped or removed".
I want to install a custom rom, but I cannot do to that error, I also cannot create new folders. I tried to see what would happen is I did a backup and nothing shows up. There is no backup or a TWRP folder.
EDIT:
TWRP folder is there, nothing inside.
I keep getting another error, failed to mount /carrier. But I read that some phones do not have that so its not a problem. Maybe it is a problem for my phone?
