1.29.751.12 update

In another thread here, someone from Australia has posted that they have just updated to the 1.29.751.12 update.
I presume 751 designates the far east or Australasia. Do they run with the same update numbers as my 401 (UK)? If so, does this mean another update is on its way?

Bloody hope not! Pain in arse porting for new 401.11 base. (pkmn tweaks)

Be good if it was rolling out. Been waiting patiently for my 4 x hox's while watching the rest of the world update!
Hopefully vf will roll it out quite quickly!

I have updated my One X to 1.29.751.12 tonight. My phone is not carrier locked as I purchased it outright. Haven't seen any differences yet.

Been released in Sweden also from what I've heard.
It fixes the radio hang issue(not reconnecting after lost connection to gsm) and other stuff

Live Wallpaper Fix?
First thing I would check is the live wallpapers.
With this update, can you confirm if (or if not) the Live Wallpaper Scrolling Issue has been resolved?

Mine has been updated to 1.29.771.11 yesterday, branded to Three /Sweden. Had no issues with Wi-Fi or 3G already and have not yet noticed any improvement/change whatsoever..

Has Jelly Bean come to three yet I have been running CM10 for a while but wondering if Three has put Jelly bean out there yet as an RUU or anything ?

I was replacing my broken One X on Wednesday via a phone call to 3 network and after placing the order for the new phone, I then asked the advisor when HOX users could expect the Jelly Bean update for three network users, I was told that they're "still working on it and we can hope for it to be released before the end of the first quarter of next year" :crying::crying:

It wouldn't as you need to have the HTC__001 CID (just using as an example). And we have H3G__001, so the firmware isn't compatible with our handsets
We'll have to wait for official OTA to be pushed by Three, before we can even think about trying JB or JB ROMS.

i ahve a htc one x that came from Tmobile UK, it has a cid of T-MOB005. is it possible for me to change the cid to HTC__001, and make it take the OTA update ?

Not currently...You need an S-OFF device to change CID, which is not yet possible for the tegra version. You'll have to wait for the T-Mobile JB update to be pushed to your handset.
Only a lucky "few" received devices with factory ship S-OFF

OTA/JB/branded/unbranded Find the slowest provider of the world. May be HTC ?

I'm got a Vodafone HoX and got my JB update about December 11 (once I'd relocked my bootloader etc.) - my GF (also a Vodafone set), got the 4.2 update a couple of days later (I'd rooted and such so didn't get this one, and can't see much improvement with anything).
A work colleague however, is on the 3 network and STILL has no news regarding the OTA :silly:
I'll have to check what CID he has to add to the list.

o2 germany was slow on this like hell

Try having CID of HTC_J15, which is UNBRANDED & not connected to any carrier, model for the the Middle East, have not received JB yet!!!

Dont can believe it ! dont know that was about unbranded phones too

HTC One X won't receive OTA

I've turned back from custom to stock. and the problem is that my phone does not receive OTA's.. actually got one, installed and that's all. says that my phone is up to date but the build no is 3.14.161.28 .. and i know that we are at 3.20.4xx ... what can i do? i've got stock rom with stock recovery. by the way my cid is VODAP102.

Lol you will never get 3.20.401 that's for unbranded phones. You have a voda branded and that is the latest version available for you !

my brother-in-law has a vodafone RO branded and locked to network phone.. and it has 3.2.401.. mine is vodafone DE (think so) neverlocked.. why shouldn't i receive updates??

Because you have a different branded phone. Believe me you will never see 3.20.401. Truly mate then he does not have a voda cid ! Not possible. 401 are only for unbranded wwe devices.
Your software number will always stay in the 161 range ! So if it would be out there (wich isn't) it should be 3.20.161 and that truly does not exist !

[Q] HTC M8 Vodafone Branded (Dutch)

I can get a branded HTC One M8 get through my provider Vodafone Netherlands.
Now I wonder is there much delay between the updates of Vodafone Branded and WW International M8.

In the past it took them about a extra month to update my HTC hd2 , maybe they're faster nowadays but when in doubth just go for unbranded ( maybe thorougth typhone?)

if you can get for free by Vodafone most of the times you can get it also by typhone (and others) even if you have to pay a bit for it I would do it.
Just my 2 cents ?

Vodafone in the UK have been very quick at updates in my experience.
