try re-setting your root permission.
In your SU app select No super user.
and run the game

I rooted my phone and installed Cyanogen Mod and as part of the process of installing it I made sure I had it rooted and had superuser permissions. Now, though for some reason whenever my phone tries to ask me for the permissions it says that the app superuser permissions has errored out and needed to be force closed. What could be causing this? I used unrEVOked to root my phone and it's worked fine in the past. Any ideas?

Go into Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Superuser, then hit clear data. That may fix the problem.
If not go into Rom Manager > Fix Permissions, let that go through, reboot, and see if that worked.
If neither of those work I would try uninstalling and reinstalling the SU app.
Thanks a bunch. I went ahead and did them both so I couldn't tell you which one fixed it but thanks!

How the hell did I lose root access? I flashed with unrevoked like 2 years ago... and all of a sudden my root apps are force closing...
I tried to re-root it using unrevoked and it says failed to obtain root...
WTF? in Hboot I have S-off still im on hboot 92
Did you get/apply an OTA?
No.... Im running cyanogen mod 7.1
Did you change anything ? flash a new rom? flash anything? update super user? install a new app? anything like that?
what version of superuser app and what version of busybox are installed?
--edit--
are the apps force closing, but after they initially launch successfully?
in other words... the problem is not with granting root permission , but simply with stability?
try this...
go in the settings of superuser app and enable logging;
try to launch the apps that you are having problems with;
check superuser log to see if root permission was granted when apps were launched;
if permissions were granted the problem is not root access....
Busy box are broken. wipe all and make a fresh install of your favorite room. That must fix it
Sorry 4 muy bad english

Well. i think i fixed my problem..
I installed Super SU on top of superuser... and then uninstalled Super SU...
Then superuser would not grant root access to my apps...
So then i reinstalled SuperSU and had it manage my root.. and got rid of superuser.

Hello,
I have rooted my phone using the XDA suggested app. I have installed SuperUser but no apps are asking for permission to join the superuser app. Also the apps that I have (a file app like file explorer) that has the option to enable root, fails. I am trying to add the Google play store but it says "force close" everytime I try to launch it. I know that my problem is that I do not have the vending.apk in the correct directory but without the ability to write to my app folder I can't do anything... PLEASE HELP!

always remember to post in respective device sections..u mentioned about a phone in in ur post in this tablet section..please mention ur device in such cases at least it would help to move ur threads to respective device sections by forum moderators..
I have done as described in this link: //reviews.cnet.co.uk/mobile-phones/how-to-root-the-samsung-galaxy-note-2-50009855/
Result: Root Check: get message that system is very slow
Titanium Backup keeps the message "asking for root rights..." and stays on this message
BusyBox: "There was a problem opening a shell..."
Si I have clearly problem with my Rom but have no idea how to fix it.
Any help?
You have to oviously grant permission to the root app.
And try using a stock custom rom like omega cause it has int.d support and all tweaks.
You will find the rom in the android development section of this forum.
Make sure you have latest tb and supersu. I had this problem before update.

Seems to be a cool app but still Titanium Backup is not working. It freezes with "Asking for root rights" in white letters and black background without any botton to accept. When I look for app within Titanium I get (finally) message "I could not acquire root priveleges. Please verify that your rom is rooted. This attempt was made using the "/system/xbin/su" command"
Same for Root Checker with message "System appears to be running very slow" and also BusyBox with message "problem opening shell".
beside that my phone is working perfectly. Have now as well the Multi window module.
So how can I make Titanium make work?
hi , i use CM 7.2 . I wanted to run an application which would not run if the phone was rooted. After some R & D i thought may be because the app "superuser" is installed ,the application that i wanted to run is not working. Once i uninstalled the superuser app and reinstalled it again, the apps which need the root are not to get the root access,
do i need to flash again or is there a way to get back the root?
thanks

Is superuser getting root access? Try to do an update from inside the app to see.
