Hi there! I need a little help here,
I have a Tab 3 Lite 7.0 Wi-Fi and I was planning on making a custom recovery, but somehow while installing it (TWRP v2.7.0.1), it kinda got stuck as my system... It doesn't matter how many roms I try to install, it doesn't work... it always comes back to TWRP like there's no OS installed on my tab... I've already tried lots of things but none of them seems to work... So if you guys have any other one, I'd be glad to test it out... So please, help me out here!

Hello everyone,
First of all, since I'm a new member, I would like to congratulate every dev in this forum for the incredible work they do.
Now the main reason for this post, is that I keep having the same problem lately with my phone when I want to change my rom.
I'm currently running Android Revolution HD 6.0.0 (first custom rom installed after flashing the phone), after that I tried to upgrade the version of the rom bu then my phone got stuck in a reboot loop. At first I tought it was the rom, but no I tried 3 other different roms but no helping it every time it's in a reboot loop, making me evry time go back to my recovery.
So I'm basicly stuck at the Custom rom I'm using now and can't change it if anyone know what might be the problem.
Regards.

Are you doing a full wipe before installing the new rom ? (don't forget to backup your data)
And don't forget to flash the correct boot.img through fastboot
hey guys!
i will realy appriciate any help on this one:
i am in a light panic attack as i might bricked my first phone..
today i have updated my t989 to ics 4.0.4 via kies, and then rooted it.
of course the root was so i can flash a rom. i chose to try cm9.
any ways, in order not to get the phone stuck in boot loop, i have tried to install the touch version of the cwm recovery.
i did it through the zip on sd option.
the version i used was: CWM6013-TOUCH-CM9-recovery (file size 4.201)
it seemed ok at first.
but then when i retsrted the phone, i noticed that every app i am trying to launch takes forever to respond (about a minute)...
i have tried to do factory reset and it did not help - the phone was sluggish even on the first setup screens..
now i am in the process of downloading the stock version again, to unroot. is this the way to go? did i miss something?
please let me know what info i can provide so you will be able to help me.
again, and i can't say it enough: every help will be very much appreciated. so, did i brick my phone?
thanks!

What all did you do to install the ROM?
Something like this happened to me on my original Galaxy S when I updated it via Kies to the new stock version. Everything was running extremely sluggish. I don't remember what I ended up doing to fix it but I most certainly did not keep the stock update on there. I rebooted it and let it sit for about 30mins and then rebooted it again and tried using it. It was a bit better but still not good so I just flashed another Rom and then it was lightning quick.
The good news is you didn't brick it if you can still boot up and run stuff. I'd suggest updating your recovery to TWRP as that seems to be the preferred one now a days, it's the one I've been using to flash countless Roms without any problems, and most Devs recommend it. Apart from that, follow the install instructions precisely and you shouldn't have a problem. To be sure, after upgrading your recovery to TWRP, you could do the wipes (cache/dalvik/factory reset/system) 2-3 times before installing your new Rom, that seems to help some people coming from previous troublesome Roms.
I've noticed a few problems people seem to have around here come from the recovery, mainly those not using TWRP and/or using some form of outdated or beta CWM. Hopefully you can fix your problem, I know first hand how awful that sluggish feeling is. Good luck!
Hi All
I have been using custom ROMs for my international Galaxy Note 2 - GT N7100 for around a year now and had not faced anything similar to this.
Recently, I installed the latest Omega ROM on my phone and it worked fine. But since then, I am unable to wipe and install any other ROMs like Kira, ROMOW, Hawkish, Monxdified etc, pretty much every ROM on 4.1.2 version, available. I have used both TWRP and Philz Touch Recovery to install these ROMs without any luck. One more thing, I always use, Android Revolution Wipe to wipe the internal SD before a fresh installation. But nothing helps now.
I am beginning to belive that there is something in Omega that is not allowing me to move on... :silly:
Or something has changed in the recent past - post this July.
I see many threads similar to this, but the solutions / suggestions go in different ways. So opening a new thread here, hoping to hear from anyone who knows what to be done.
Thanks for your help and time.
Hello everyone
Some while ago, i decided to root my phone. I did some stuff with it and it was fun. But now my phone is stuck in a bootloop! I've tried flashing a custom rom(using sd-card), but it didn't work... No, i dont have a backup. I've deleted all of my data but it still won't work.
PS: Im really sorry if a question like this has already been asked, im new to this place.
Hey gang, I just flashed twrp yesterday and was super excited to get rid of all the bloat and have a great 6.0 device. However, after flashing countless roms and wiping everything the screen flickers on and off and also half the time it wants to act like I have one of the cases with the cutout on the front. Any input will be extremely helpful as I really dont want to spend money on a new device. I cant even seem to find anything anywhere about flashing stock recovery and rom. Can find files but im certain there has to be some wonky utility we have to use on this phone. Thanks in advance and hope to hear from you guys soon!
-Andy
P.S. I have flashed the stock ww-2.20.4...... twrp rom this morning and im guessing this is some hardware issue but any input is helpful.

that's the thing. I flashed the stock rom through twrp and it persists. I've wiped everything before flashing also. I'm hoping someone has a guide on flashing the stock bootloader and rom as though it was factory. Couldn't really find anything other than a few files with 0 tutorial on what to use to flash it with. I know it cant be as easy as id like but if you've got any info on how to go about im willing to try anything.
