i can't find the file to flash it. Put it in internal memory, using TWRP recovery.

How to swap internal storage with the SD card in Nokia x
Step 1: We need a rooted phone for this process, if your phone is not rooted then first of all root your phone.
After root your phone, install root file manager. You have two options: 1. Root file explorer app, 2. Es file explorer file manager
Step 2: Open the Root explorer app >>> then go to root folder >>> then find and tap on the system folder >>> Now you can see the ETC folder, open this folder >>> after then you will see a list of files and folder, Now find vold.fstab >>> tap on this file, you will get lot’s of option, now tap on text editor option.
Step 3: After tap on the text editor, you will get a popup tab from Su app for giving root permission to root explorer app >>> tap on the grant option >>> then you will get a warning message for remount as read-write then tap on yes.
Step 4: Now vold.fstab file open for you, find these two line in this file:
dev_mount sdcard /storage/sdcard0 [email protected] /…………
dev_mount sdcard2 /storage/sdcard1 auto /…………….
You can see these lines in this image. Not much to do here, just change sdcard0 with sdcard1 in the first line and sdcard1 with sdcard0 in the second line >>> Now tap on the menu button in the phone >>> and tap on save and exit >>> close root file explorer app and reboot your phone or device. that’s all.

No boot sounds Cy4noobsMod

Is there a way to disable all boot sounds ? Putting my phone in silent mode doesn't help it still plays the transformers like sound which is way to loud when u have to do it in a public location imo.
Follow these steps:
1: Install root Explorer or ES file explorer etc.
2: Navigate to /system/media or /system/media/audio (cant remember which one)
3: Mount file system as R/W
4: Delete the bootsound.ogg or rename it to bootsound.ogg.old
5: Done !

yup, something like that. actually it was so easy as long we familiar with rootexplorer things. these for more accurately step:
> navigate to /system/media using rootexplorer (don't forget to mount system as R/W)
> delete "poweron.ogg" file or backup it (usually by renamed it to poweron.ogg.bak)
> done!
> or i'd like to suggest to customize it with your own sound file that already converted n renamed as poweron.ogg n replaced or backup the original sound file. recommended to set permission as same as the original (just copy by looking the original)
Hey, Thanks for this tip, Im going to do this after I flash Cyanogen 9
Or you just try the app called Silent Boot

[Q] CM 10 stock file manager problem

Hi,
I have installed successfully CM10 alpha7 on my I-8150. I have a strange problem, however. using the built-in File Manager (even in root mode), when I try to move a file, it replies that "Operation not permitted in the current folder". That situation is the same for a wide number of files and directories that I have tested.
Select the file/s that you want to move/copy. The navigate to the destination folder. Tap over 8-dots icons and select paste selection or move selection.
You can not move the file over the same folder.

That is OK now  I was used to the PC way of life, so I was convinced that one should select first the file, then "Copy/Move" and finally navigate to the destination folder. Thank you, jruesga

edit:

edit2: I have restart my phone, my apk AXT9IME is in system/app folder, whan my phone start, tell me: samsung keyboard can´t work
System change read only. How do it
some idea?
For Stock Rom you need rooted phone.
There are many apps, you can use e.g. "Root Explorer" from Play Store.
I think there is a free version available.
Procedure for Root Explorer:
1. copy wished .apk to Storage on phone.
2. start Root Explorer
3. go to .apk you want to copy in system/app
4. select it and copy
5. go to system/app
6. in upper bar in the middle you can see mount status. (-ro)
7. change it to -rw by clicking on it and select item -rw
8. Superuser app flushes: grant access
9. Paste .apk in system/app
10. Restart your phone and have fun.
Feel free to ask if further problems occurs.

App probably not compatible. And free version of root explorer ( explorer) is already mounted r/w
EDIT: im pretty sure root explorer asks for root access on first startup

Yes! Is true, not compatible, I have folowed guide from teddytsen, all right, but after reboot after my phone freeze and tell me AxT9IME.apk (samsung keyboard) can´t work and stop!
I tested deodex .apk too and same problem always. And if I use Uninstaller Master and see in System apps, there is way to AxT9IME.apk normal- /system/app/AxT9IME.apk, but there is write "2.3.6"!
I want just same as I writed in my first message in atachement. But I don´t know if exist any compatible apk with my Stock or Custom ROM (I have problem with this in both).
In 4.1.2 JB is poor 3x4 grey keyboard... Don´t want it, maybe better downgrade

I have not root explorer but I suppose file system shall be R/W to change permission.

cannot del file on SDcard android M

yesterday, i used to do something like this
1.Go To the 'ES File explorer app, (Or any app which you want to give write permission to as such...)
2. Get to the dialogue box where you ned to give the write permission insude the said app (usually try deleting something simple from the sd card using the said app)
3. click on "Select"
4. If you have only 'Recent' in the slide view menu, there would be a vertical 3 dots on the top right corner. Click it.
5. Either click on "Show Internal Storage" OR "Show SD card" (would start with "Show..." whatever it may be)
6. Again Open the Slide by swiping from left to right.
7. Select "sd card" from the menu.
8. Again select "SELECT 'SD Card'
9. DONE!

but today, after odin the phone with orginal fw. i do extractly the same but cannot granted access to SDcard. so, i cannot del or create folder on SD card. help e
Are you using a custom ROM and did you check application manager for storage permissions? Is the app asking for root permission access? Stock permissions, lack of superuser or lack of user permissions may limit ability to manage files.
I've seen other posts complaining about ES File Manger not working in MM, even custom ROMs that Root Explorer had demonstrated ability to work without issue. If the above doesn't work to allow the procedure you referenced to work, then try it with Root Explorer:
