[rom][5.0.2][geehrc] cm12-madness nightlies

Hi all,
Here is my first source compiled rom for G, main goal of it's born is to learn of android/cyanogen build system. Becouse of my modifications this rom is quite uniqe. It is based on @Kevinjoa geehrc device tree (with some features backported from e975 device tree like onscreen navbar settings), rom is powered by unmodified @Kevinjoa msm kernel. Rom contains some additional opensource software (F-Droid, ownCloud, DAVDroid).

Madness Mod is something new, now its only additional software and custom bootanimation. My sources are ready for further modifications. If i only have enough time i'l try include performacne settings in near future. As i wrote in first post this is my first play with building from scratch.

Nice objective. I wanna get a start like you in near future.

Probably a dumb question, but will the jollakernel work on this?

Not tested but should work if works on geehrc lollipop from @Kevinjoa

tested on my F180k, sensors not work.

Well, using all day, every sensor is working fine. Using jolla kernel I don't get any lag or reboot, very stable. Very good work

The camera is working good ?
Did you try to work with the phone with "stock" kernel (already came with the rom) ?

No, I didn't try with stock kernel because I like to use d2tw and jolla have it

it doesnt boot for me...

it did boot after several hard resets.

Did you do a full wipe before install?

Been using this rom for a day and so far so good, I do not face any problems concerning software or hardware. I do have a problem with my device waking up.. it doesn't. If i lock my screen it just reboots. The same goes for using jollakernel on this rom. Any suggestions?

ROM boots,WiFi works,data works,bluetooth works suffering random reboots,no sound via speakers but headset audio does work, and camera doesn't work
Edit:haven't experienced anymore random reboots after the first 2
Edit 2: that's weird, all of a sudden the camera wants to work

Well, any gapp for 5.1.1 should work. I usually use open gapps or tk gapps.

Is the sound from speakers still broken in this ROM?

Good to see more development going on for the Idol 3! Life is slowly but surely being brought to this community! Thanks given!
Edit: Getting late for me tonight, but I'll try to give it a whirl on the 6045i tomorrow evening and report back.

A French guy (6045Y) tested yesterday and confirmed everything works flawlessly.
Micro, speaker, etc...work as well. You can move it to the development section
I think he is here as well, it's @cyanogendroid .

Everything works fine but it would have a better opportunity to optimize even if 1giga and sufficient RAM to 1 cm we 1.1voir if it is loaded very happy with your work I looked forward to the next update

LS980 and VS980 variants of LG G2 don't have official cm support anymore, so I decided to compile pure cyanogenmod for both variants[LS/VS980].

Please don't try this rom unless you know how to deal with bootstacks, use TWRP etc...

Is there a fix for wifi disconnect? As I know, this bug is on every marshmallow roms.Also, this bug is stated at the official thread.

when is it fixed? I built ls980 build on 19.6.2016 from latest cm source.If it was fixed before 19jun, then it must be fixed in ls980 build.
By the way, I am trying to build this rom for vs980 right now, I will share with you If I manage to build

The only bug I found is that root access seems to be broken, flashing supersu causes bootloop.

Last marshmallow updates for this rom has been added to the topic, see you all on nougat.Root access is also fixed

It is the same as other custom roms like Resurrection remix or blissrom.I haven't tried nfc yet.

then i believe your saying the lines needed for the ls980 nfc are not included or unknown in the build. bummer .starting to wonder if people are aware its different. i would think its a big deal with stuff like payments and doors and neet useless stuff like that . kinda funny i lost my bank card so im literally trapped in stock rom till this is resolved i posted what i think the lines may be in a few places hopefully someone will give it a whirl i no longer have a lab thanks for the reply ohh yea huge fan of the doctor props on the avatar

Have been waiting for this ROM since quite sometime......ROM is stable for a beta,have bumped into a couple of force closes when using the theming section but couldn't reproduce it again for a log cat !

Bluetooth Fix (DU athene first build 20161027):
1. Download: "(unzip me) libbt-vendor.zip" on 'Attached Files'
2. Unzip
3. Copy the "libbt-vendor.so" to /system/vendor/lib and change the file permissions to rw--r--r
4. Reboot

I did that update my friend an you smashed it out the park dirty an aokp have been my favorite since my gs2

I was able to build the ROM using the Lineage OS official source code from the LineageOS github

I'm currently testing the ROM to check what's working and what's not. LineageOS seems to have some of the same issue the AOSP 9.0 ROM that was shared a few days ago had. The list of things currently NOT working:

My guess is that it has something to do with the lineage source. Wonder if you where to take certain commits from the repo that UAP used a merge it if that would fix it. Thanks prashanthca for supporting the grand nexus 5. Starting to get into building roms from source. if you are looking for any assistance.

Those are my builds and they're just for testing (That's why I haven't posted them yet here), I'm still trying to fix that.
