[Q] Original ROM HTC Wildfire S - HTC Wildfire S

Hi guys,
First of all I have to admit that I have been very stupid and this thread is just because I didn't do my steps right. I have flashed ParanoidAndroid [4.4.4] on my HTC Wildfire, but I hadn't made any backups. The speed of my phone is now so low that I would like to install my original ROM, but I don't have a backup.
My question is: 'Can anyone provide me the original ROM of the HTC Wildfire S?'
Thanks a lot for supporting

Here are RUUs, completely stock with stock recoveries and kernels and this is CWM flashable stock ROM

[Q] New to Android - Question about ROM's - Help a newbie!

Hi All,
I have finally after a couple of years decided to move away from the Apple iPhone and buy an Android handset. As such I bought the Desire HD which I absolutely love however I wanted to debrand it using the latest software.
What I did was use the Goldcard technique to Downgrade my phone. I did this succesfully and debranded my phone, however what I realised was that I am now running a older (debranded) software.
Can anyone please assist me by providing with me some steps so that I can flash my phone again with the latest stock HTC Desire HD rom (debranded - is there a link?) or a very stable new ROM? I wouldnt mind version 2.3 if its available... I'm with Vodafone Australia and this is a Vodafone handset.
I have been told that the Goldcard method isn't the best way to do it? Correct me if I'm wrong.
Please excuse my questions as I am very new and not very good with Linux. I am very technically minded so I can pick things up quickly but I need some guidance as I have no idea about half the stuff people talk about here....
If you want stock Desire HD rom, you can flash back the RUU (2.2 Froyo). If you like 2.3 Gingerbread, you can try Cyanogen Mod 7 custom rom.
But for the most stable & battery efficient , you can try android revolution hd rom, leedroid, core droid rom.
You can view the list of rom (and also step-by-step to flash it) at the development thread located here -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=765

Hi, Thanks for the reply.
I used this guide to downgrade my Desire HD. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=905003 - This debranded my phone which is what I wanted however I also realise it is not the latest build. Is this what you are you referring too when you say RUU 2.2 Froyo Rom?
If not, do you have a link to the one you are referring too?
That page you just linked to was for people who had the 1.72blahblah firmware, but wanted to downgrade to 1.32blahblah in order to root their phones.
The official firmware can be found on this page:
http://www.shipped-roms.com/index.php?category=android&model=Ace
...and the latest available firmware is this:
RUU_Ace_HTC_WWE_1.72.405.3_R_Radio_12.28e.60.140f_26.04.02.17_M2_release_161342_signed.exe
thanks for that, now how do I flash this? I assume the same way I did it before?
With the stock RUU exes, you don't put them on your phone and flash via Clockwork (or whatever) like you do with custom ROMs. You run the exe from your PC with the phone connected via USB and HTC Sync.
There is a comprehensive guide somewhere on this site.

[Q] Desire HD - getting back to stock ROM

hey guys,
i'm kinda new to whole android stuff - i have a desire HD stock ROM, no modifications. I'm really interested in flashing it to "android revolution 3.1". So, i read the guides about how to flash rom's.
My only open question is: How can i go back to stock ROM? The Desire HD is running 1.72 atm, and i maybe want to get back to it, if i'm unhappy with custom rom. I read about RUU, but i can't find a RUU for DHD 1.72. It's an unbranded DHD. Would be nice if someone here could help me.
greets!
afaik there are no 1.7x RUU's out.
the 1.7x was just a FOTA of the older 1.3x .
just get your (branded/notbranded) RUU of the 1.3x .
should be fine though.

I m sure you won't want to get back to stock after you get your hands on custom roms
But anyways you ll find 1.72.xx RUU here: http://xdafil.es/index.php?path=DesireHD/RUU/
Plus you ll have a backup of your stock ROM before you flash a new rom. So should not be any problem anyway.

[Q] how to flash cyanogenMod

Hi all,
sorry for the stupid question but:
I have a rooted, unlocked, HTC One X and would like to flash the latest nightly CM10. I've downloaded it and have the zip-file "cm-10-20120919-NIGHTLY-evita.zip" on my hard drive, but what to do next.
Please advice.
Kind regards,
highchain
You're either in the wrong forum or you've downloaded the wrong CM10 ROM...
That ROM file is for the dual-core One XL. If you have the Quad-Core One X then you need this...
http://jenkins.cyanogenmod.com/view.../archive/cm-10-20120920-NIGHTLY-endeavoru.zip
And then you flash it like you would any other ROM (search if you don't know how to flash a ROM, I won't be telling you)

CM10 is the JellyBean version of CyanogenMod. You have to change your hboot back to stock to flash JellyBean.
That link is to the q&a thread of the rom. The actual rom thread is this one

All apps crashing after a rec520overy
Hello
I'm experiencing a weird bug, but a first I must say, I'm not a newbie
I'm using the rom HD revolution 33.1 on my HTC ONE X for more than a year, but after a falty problem my boot scrambled, I was able to repair the boot, re flash it, then flashed the clockworkmod, reinstaled the rom. The problem happened after that, almost all the apps and services are crashing Already do a full wipe, factory reset, used the stock rom and tried other roms. like cyanogen. My last test was to use a backup from last week, and even that wont solve this bizarre problem
Did any of you has experienced such problem? If yes, how can I fix it?
Best regards.
PS: i'm using firmware 1.39 and clockworkmod 6.0.4.8

Hi Thant
I've flashed a newer recovery(6.0.4.8) and formated every partition, except de virtual sd card. the process also removed the root privilege.
After re-root an a full wipe script from the HD revolution, the problem was solved
Probably was a bad sector in the memory.
Thank very much for your answer :highfive:
Cheers!!! :victory:
Hi to all
I have installed ROM "Android revolution HD 17.1" can I install this ROm without changing the "firmware collection for different CID/MID" and Proper HBOOT version for Jelly Bean based ROM
/
Great ROM, amazing battery life.
problem about SU
Hello guys,
i am using Android Revolution HD 33.1 on my HTC One X. I want to ask a question. yesterday, i installed some modes via Xposed Installer. but after rebooting the phone, i have a warning popup message about SuperUser. it says :
"
Install
---------------------------
The Superuser binary (su) must be updated.
Please choose an installation method.
Recovery mode installation is recomended for HTC devices.
Cancel - Recovery Install - Install
"
do i have this problem because my recovery version is old? or maybe Superuser version?
i think, i use SuperSU v0.94 (something like that, i donot know exactly, but in that time, there was v9.6 or v0.96 whatever). and i use clockworkd mod recovery v5.8.4.0.
Could you please briefly tell me what to do?

Registered only to say:
Thank you for all your work, guys.
This is the best and the smoothest ROM for HTC One X i ever used.
You gave another long life to my device.
Very sexy. Many thanks.
Having a good time. Hope you too.
update?
any updates coming out anytime soon?
Hello XDA dev!
Sorry for my lack of knowledge, but I would really appreciate some help!
I recently have earned a ONE X. I am really willing to put this ROM on it, but I've never done anything like that, have no clue on what I have to do, where should I start.
I had it from England, it was locked on O2 service, got it now in my town and couldn't use my SIM, so I bought a code on internet for 12 bucks and now it is opened to all services.
Otherwise, the phone is completely stock.
Is there any newbie step-by-step tutorials which could help me out?
Or maybe even someone who knows how to, could add me on Skype and help me out?
Thanks in advice!

Download link for lonelyx ?

Stuck on boot logo - wrong CID?
Since rooting the phone (International endeavoru of course) I've tried a few lollipop-based ROMS (Remix and Xenon) but wanted to try out ARHD now to get real stability and reliability. But I just can't seem to make it work. It just get stuck at boot logo during startup. And yes, I have flashed the boot.img too... Tried it over and over again. Doesn't want to play...
Could it be that I am on a Swedish H3G-phone? Do I have to switch CID? HBOOT? Radio? Get S-OFF?
Current versions of stuff
S-ON
HBOOT: 1.72.0000
Radio: 5.1204.171.31H
CID: H3G__G04
I'm using TWRP and new layout.
Does anybody have a clue of what's going on?
