[Q] Hello i am new and with questions too new phone

Samsung Galaxy Note II N7100 Titanium Gray
is my new phone i ordered and hopefully it will work like a charm but also with new technology there comes questions that i cannot answer myself,
i seen its rewiew and heard some bout it i also have to read trought these forums about it too get more knwoledge about also.
my questions is this is there any where i can read / learn how to be more familiar with this new phone?
i am new too this forum but here too stay.
question is this : how too forexample change the tabs on the phone with the icons and make it "more like home" setup is there any tutorial on this or do a man have too be more of coder then a user for these too done? (ofc i dont think it gonna be any difficult )
if anyone could linjk me few places to start read on too get straight too the point from an experienced user of this phone could be great !

Hi there and welcome.
The way I learned was to just use the phone as much as I could and learn from doing. Just explore really. But there are a lot of tutorial blogs and videos.
With your question, do you mean change homescreen icons?
If yes, go to the play store and download a home launcher. I use apex launcher because it has a lot of features.

When u gut your phone go to samsung apps and download the free app users digest. It teaches you how to use the tabs and spen.

Language options for Note II

Hello Forum Members,
A Russian neighbor of mine purchased a Note II and loves the phone however, his english is not that great. I have done some extensive searching through the forums and have not seen anything related to language options. I apologize if this has been answered to a different degree (i'm sure there are many users that have to overcome a language barrier) but i'm hoping someone can stear me on the direction of which Rom or kernel may adjust the possible language options for the note II. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

...except Android 4.2 and after which requires root. However, if you managed to root, you simply delete language.xml in /system/CSC and reboot.

[Q] My Galaxy app

Hi,
I have just got a new Tab S 10.5 and have set it all up to meet my needs having logged in with an existing Google account and then created a new Samsung account! Everything is working fine with the exemption of the 'My Galaxy' app! This app displays no content and selecting any function just returns a blank screen with a brief pop up to the effect that there is a problem in contacting Samsung servers and I should try later??
However I this has been going on for two days??
Does this app work or is there some hidden configuration needed or what???
I would like to contact support, but I need the app to work to do that!
I tried a support question on the Web, but was told that my account was okay and active and the question was then closed!
Do Samsung actually answer users queries???
This is my first foray into the Galaxy range and although I am extremely happy with the tablet I am a bit miffed with their cavalier attitude in dismissing the problem which may well be down to my inexperience with the product, but would have thought it reasonable to get some explanation or guidance to resolving the issue!

I have the same problem with this app on my tab s 8.4 - I raised a support request via the website about this and asked about the 3 months free now TV that should come with the tab s. It's been a few days and no reply yet

I now have an 8.4 as well and it doesn't work on that either!!

A user is reporting issues when running this app on their Note II. I do not have access to this device, and would appreciate if anyone here could install my app and determine if it is working. Particularly, check whether the "Display active app" feature is working, which shows the user the app on their device that is currently using the most data.
