Here is an Up-to-Date resource library of themes for CM12 Theme Engine. This library will be updated to the best of my searching capabilities. As you find themes that are not listed, please post them here and I will add them to OP. Understand that this library will increase in size over time, and not every single them will be posted (Partly due to the rate of creation by use of the Theme DIY.) Redundant themes will not be added. This is a thread for theme resources and review of those resources, not Twitter, Facebook, etc. Any off-topic banter, flaming, bashing, or anything of that nature will not be allowed!!! Keep it clean and keep it relevant!! Enjoy!!!

Want to create themes? An application by the name of Theme DIY now grants you the ability to create themes for CM12. This is but one of the many ways to make themes for the new Theme Engine. Well I am definitely using touchwiz even though i dont like it, atleast its stable and can last me all day. CM roms right now have a serious overheating issue, pretty bad battery drain and and tons of other bugs. I dont even know why this is a relevant question cause CM is in its alpha/beta stage and it would be unfair to compare it. A couple of months down the line things might get a little different. But until than, I shall stick to touchwiz.

I have been running CM 12 for the most part since its release, and at first, the issue as far as overheating and battery life were something that gave me reservations. I am happy to say that the overheating issue is no longer a factor and battery life has improved dramatically recently. It has become a daily driver for me at this point. Granted battery life isn't as long as touchwiz, which is to be expected, but an average of a days charge is excellent given the fact that CM12 is still to be considered in beta stage. I would say give the latest build, I think the challenges will definitely seem a lot smaller.:good::good:

I appreciate the enthuisiasm but my comment was based on the latest build. Infact more issues popped up with the latest build as compared to the prior builds in terms of no. Of force closings and restarts. Temperature when charging hits boiling point and I dont care what anyone says but that is damaging to my phone. Even out of charge I was sending a small text message and my phone randomnly felt like it caught fire. Messing with cpu speeds slows the performance and makes it stutter and lag to the point id prefer touchwiz now. If you read the comments of people who downloaded the latest build in various cm12 based roms, youd see that the issues i have stated are way too common and widespread.

Well I myself haven't had the misfortune of overheated and terrific with 1/23 build. It is getting updates and fixes, so maybe you and others that have these issues will find resolutions.
Very nice to see this. I hope you can keep up with all the new themes coming out & thank you for making a one stop shop.
I definitely intend to. For the beginning though, majority of these will be free, until the paid side gets more extensive. I appreciate the notice though, just figured I would provide everyone that like themes an ability to get them without have to go searching.

Well yes hopefully. I hope I wasnt misunderstood, I love the work being done by slayer on the unofficial cm12 builds. I remember when the first OFFICIAL CM rom nightly was released for my note 3, it was unusable, no fluidity in interface, force closures everywhere and video playback issues. Compared to that the early UNOFFICIAL cm build for the note 4 is light years ahead. Its far more stable version, just goes to show how much work and effort the devs put into this day in and day out which is admirable and appreciated by all of us. I would say 2-3 months and the builds would be ready to be daily driver level. TIll that day i cant wait..lol
And thank you for listing all the themes, I hope Ill get around to trying them out soon.

Amazing work CM and team!
With the help of Firerat's scripts, (Custom MTD Partitions, and All-In-One) I feel comfortable enough with CM-6.0.0-DS to play with the nightlies. I do not like the built-in apps2sd. Too slow and too much room for disaster.
I've replaced a lot of "borrowed" icons and such with my own graphics. My new status icons do require you use a dark(er) status bar than the stock white. By now most of you know where to find the Notification bar changes. I did include, for my own comfort, MMS and Gmail apks from the google apps tiny add-on. I only made a couple of changes to those to replace some notification icons.
9/8/2010: Fixed the download links. Sorry Google changed things around and I wasn't paying attention.
9/12/2010: I couldn't resist. Such good things were being said about the third 9/9 nightly I just had to flash it. Since I'm not playing the nightly game regularly now, I decided to Theme it for my enjoyment. So far battery life is good and it's a quick ROM.
10/22/2010: Updated for Nightly #213... I've updated a lot more of the notification icons. I'm working on changing the color of the new dropdown power manager. I couldn't get a screen shot of the "USB In Use" image. This includes APKs for Email, Gmail, and Vendor. Sorry if you don't use them, I do.
10-22-2010 Part Deu: Updated for nightly #215.
10-24-2010: Updated for nightly #219
10-26-2010: Updated for nightly #222
10-28-2010: Updated for RC1. Swapped the USB Connected graphics. Makes a little more sense.
12-14-2010: Updated for CM-6.1.0 DS Stable. I have updated a lot of the graphics to color. Some have just been colorized. Others are full color icons. It still works best with a black or dark notification bar. That can be set with the Cyanogenmod Settings. There are still some google applications here. I do this primarily for me so if you don't want the google apps you will need to remove them yourself. I haven't figured out how to incorporate the wallpaper into the CMWallpapers.apk. For now you will have to download and apply it yourself. (gee aren't I helpful?)
12-24-2010: Updated for Nightly #285. Lots of colorized notifications and menu items.

Why are you doing to each new Nightly version?

Changes to the nightlies mean changes to the APKs. If you flash an older theme over a new nightly you change the APKs back to when the theme was created. Some big changes have been made lately. From, I think, 218 to 219 there was the new notification dropdown power widget. Really nice. The graphics for that are all in the framework-res.apk. Flash and old theme over that and you miss it. So, when a new nightly comes out I like, I update it with my graphics.
A new RC1 is suppose to drop tonight... I'll probably do an update for that and leave it alone for a while. It gets old doing this almost every night.

I downloaded MrInc_Theme_cm-6.1.0-ds-rc1.zip and followed your instructions on flashing it.
It flashed and booted fine but the only thing it replace was the icons.
Literally nothing else changed. Any suggestions?

It is a theme not the whole ROM. That is pretty much what it does is replace the stock graphics with my colorized icons. To change the notification bar colors you have to have the full Cyanogen ROM. It is available in the G1 Android Development forum. CM610RC1
Well yes I know this. I have 6.1RC1 installed...
Again I followed your instructions to the T and it looks nothing like the images you posted.
Is it ONLY the icons? If so where can I get the rest of the images that are advertised on your first post.

Is it ONLY the icons? If so where can I get the rest of the images that are advertised on your first post.

Well the wallpaper is the last link on the OP. The rest is either widgets or apps I have installed. The clock with weather is Beautiful Widgets. The audio widget is Audio Widgets Pro with Wood theme. Some of the apps are pay-per-view so I would never include them in my theme. Other than that it is all there.

Cool, thanks for the responses.

"remicks and I have surely been busy over the past few months, as we had put a LOT of work into AOKPCB and then our personal lives ended up needing some attention (damn real life). Just thought I should say that yes, we stopped AOKPCB for ICS since JB was on the way, and when Goo.IM went down, it took all of the AOKPCB ROMs we built with it That was the only spot we had been hosting them unfortunately…
If all goes well though, we are planning on releasing AOKPCB for JB, however as AOKP JB is quite young (we base our source from theirs), we’re going to wait a little bit until more devices are added, and things get stable. Our team is a fraction of the size of Team Kang, so it’d be much tougher for us to manage an early ROM at this point.
It’s in the cards though, so as soon as it can be done, IT WILL BE!!!!
So glad that it seemed to be a success, Team Broccoli wants to thank everyone, especially the users, for your support and bigups.

Thanks or being patient everyone!"

Hey ALL,
I apologize for not keeping everyone informed. As it stands now, the plan is to get a final R3 (ICS) release out, however our repo is currently borked (I know, just before the last ICS release!). We're trying to get it fixed up (remicks is really, he's great with our builds), but hopefully that will happen soon. Afterwards, it's kind of up in the air for what we're going to do with JB. remicks and I have started working on Project FNV, which is a different type of ROM, being built by the community, however there is still a chance that we will make AOKPCB(ean) the way we like it, and keep Project FNV true to it's goal of being a community ROM.
It's obviously a LOT of work to maintain two ROMs, including websites, social media efforts, etc., but we're doing our best. We really love giving back to the community in this way, and it is more than amazing to hear good feedback. At the very least, when Theme Chooser arrives on Jelly Bean ROMs, you'll be able to use my PCB Themes as I will port them over ASAP. Again, I would love to keep AOKPCB going, however the team still has to discuss this past our plans for an R3 ICS release.
Hope that kind of clears the air a bit, and please don't consider this to be a "we're quitting" message. Life is crazy for many people, and lately things are no different for most of our team. We hope you'll understand, and keep watching this thread, the PCB Mini-site, and its RSS feed for future updates!

OK all, teeny tiny post to let you know that we just dropped R2 on the scene. I am out of steam completely as it has been a lot of work for us over the past few days. We'll be in touch, but new nightlies may not appear for the next few days (not much will change, as R2 has a slew of goodies for your enjoyment!)
Cheers, and please spread the word + let us know your experience with R2!

OFFICIAL R2:
"Today we bring you our second Official Release! This has been about a month in the making and includes all of the changes from our Nightlies. You’ll also notice that there are MANY more devices that we now build AOKPCB for. Please continue to give us feedback as we are building these ‘blind’ (we don’t have the actual devices), so tester feedback really helps.
Note that you should perform a full-wipe, as there have been some core changes. You could try a dirty-flash, but we wouldn’t recommend it for R2.
The changelog below contains everything that has been added to R2 of AOKPCB, and as it stands, R2 is based from AOKP Build 37 (+ newer commits).
Thanks to testers and everyone who gave feedback!"

What is the base (aokp) used for this rom?
Flashing and will report back, if anything out of the ordinary should happen
WOW.I have seen while ago this ROM for Google Nexus and this is are great news about that its it ported to Galaxy S. I'm also excited because I am an electronic engineer . I will tested it few days and give a feedback.
What kernel is included? Official AOKP comes with Glitch ics kernel? I don't see any mentions about Glitch/Sixstring on the credits.
The theme is nice.

as the nightlies are built from day to day, am i right that AOKPCB is always from the latest AOKP-build, meaning if i download AOKPCB today and the newest AOKP-build til today is b35, the downloaded AOKPCB is b35, too?

think that makes it clear.
i think the kernel is the one which gets built if you build AOKP, cause AOKPCB is built from source.
another thing i want to make clear: i am NOT the maker of this rom! questions are best asked in the original thread to the original makers, but i will try to answer as many of them as possible, hope you understand...

Greatly themed rom. Btw, I think roman have asked all unofficial rom devs to not add new features in their rom that are going to be added in next builds and are already in source. Hope u can do something about it just in respect to roman.

i'm not such an expert, but how should a rom-maker do this if he builds from source? sync the source, check a list what is new in it and delete it? not build from latest source? or are all rom-makers doomed to do their roms with 7zip from the latest released official build by exchanging files?
don't get me wrong, i'm just interested, how what roman probably said, could be followed in real life.
anyway, thx for your suggestion and i will report it to the makers if i have time, because (AGAIN) i am not the maker, i made this thread to spread their work and have it it present in our sgs-forum, too, and to quote myself:

Wow thanks for porting this, love the theme! I'm too lazy to wipe data right now though, so restored from nandroid, coming from Infinitum LBR 1.0 broke a few things
Will probably flash latest nightly this weekend or whenever I have the time.
From Source.
I RESPECT your work and all the team, i think That source is public and free for all.
Thanks so much for the excellent work.

This thread was originally posted over on the Galaxy Nexus forums (linked in my sig), which is the device I have. A user (Kick-Ass Joe) tried the theme on his Nexus 4 and said it works perfectly fine, and I don't see any reason it wouldn't, as long as you're running Paranoid Android 3.0 (should work with other 4.2.x PA versions too). Once we found that it worked on his phone, he suggested you guys here might be interested. I don't have a Nexus 4 to test on, however, so please only test new versions if you're confident you can recover from any issues you may encounter. Please also let me know if you have any issues.
OK, many of you are like me and have been looking for 1% battery increments on the amazing Paranoid Android ROM. The devs have been working so hard on making the rest of the ROM great for us that they just haven't had a chance to add battery %. So I've made a theme for just that purpose! I know you can install one of thousands of themes out there that add battery %, but I have always been partial to the stock look of ICS and JB, so my theme will only add battery percent icons, nothing more. It applies via the built-in theme manager, so no flashing required! Just download the theme you want from the attachments below and install/apply like always. Also, please swing by this thread and hit the thanks button on the OP, ATTACK. It's his icon pack that has made most of these (maybe all) possible, given my rather limited photoshop skills. He OK'd the use of the icons, but I'd like to give him "something" back.
Thanks!
I've got 14 themes now.

Disclaimers/Warnings:
*This is my first attempt at theming, but it has been running perfectly on my own Paranoid GNex for several days now, and another member (ben.nesheim) was kind enough to test as well. He has had no problems since applying the first theme Saturday night. At this point there are quite a few users with no issues. However, if for some reason you run into problems (themes won't apply, phone dies, ROM borked, dragons flying out of the charging port, etc... ), I am not responsible. I will help you however I can, though. I honestly can't think of anything this theme could do to your phone anyway, but you never know.
*MAKE A BACKUP! I know that sounds silly for a theme, but since this is my first try, I suggest you have a backup just in case. Again, there are two phones so far that have had no problems, but that doesn't mean they'll all work perfectly. So far I've had a good bit of downloads and comments in the Galaxy Nexus thread, and I think it's safe to say its stable. Still, make a backup just in case, especially since this is on a Nexus 4, which I can't test on....
*The theme works in all standard UI modes, (phone, phablet, various tablet) but I can't test every configuration out there. If you have issues let me know and I'll see if I can fix it.
*You will most likely get the "This theme is missing assets for your screen size" message, but hit apply anyway. Almost every theme I've ever seen throws this message, but it doesn't affect anything in these themes.
*It should work on each version of PA that comes out, but there is a chance something will change to break it. I'm really not sure. I'll test when each version comes out, until there's no more demand for this theme.
Thanks for looking, and if anybody has any issues or requests, feel free to let me know!! Enjoy!

Sweet
Been waiting for this. Works well, except when PA changes status bar colours, the numbers in the stock icon disappear. The numbers or thin battery works best if you have per app colours set.
However the battery meter fills up to full in the set colour as you can see in attachement. Anyway, not huge issues, thanks for this.

I hadn't noticed that before, I guess because I don't use the per-app colors. I will try and figure out why the numbers disappear, because to me that is unacceptable. Since none of the others do it, it must have to do with those particular icons.
Thanks for letting me know!!
Thanks, much appreciated! Will try this out tonight
works well for me. Cheers.
Seems not working
I just tried on my nexus 4 circle and stock but nothing change about the battery icone.
I have Paranoid 3.00 and Go Launcher.
I haven't tried all but the "full circle" version works great!!! running 'per app' colors and it changes fine, no numbers disappearing or anything LOVE the work!
i have everything i want on my phone with your theme and the following setup
-Rom: ParanoidAndroid 3.00 - (Feb 11 205950_krait)) | PIE
-Kernel: franco.Kernel r72
:highfive:
Never mind it's work, i did a wipe dalvin cache and it's ok

I'm glad you like it! I think the color issue is only with icons like the stock and thin batteries, because they both have multiple colors and they all get changed to the PA color, making it unreadable. I'm still trying to figure out what I can do to fix it.

I'm glad its working now. I haven't seen anybody else have an issue, but it could still happen. If anybody else has that problem, please let me know. Thanks!

Great work, saved me the hassle of flashing. It works perfect on the latest build 14-FEB, I use the stock battery with numbers but I think the numbers are a bit larger than usual.
Not being picky but that's just what I thought

Somebody else mentioned an issue where it wasn't working, but clearing dalvik cache fixed it. Not sure why that's happening, but its apparently only on the N4. Nobody in the gnex has reported problems. I also don't think we have 4.2.2 yet, but my work schedule has been preventing me from keeping up really well. If you want to try clearing dalvik, let me know if it works.
Also, which one did you try?

Are you on 4.2.2 also? I'm sure you probably are since you replied to the above post, but I want to be sure.

I actually think they're a little big, too. My next priority is trying to get the icons to work with per-app coloring, but if the battery % still isn't built into PA by then I'll see if I can work on that size. Won't be hard, just time consuming. I know I saw a battery icon contest on the PA site, so I think it won't be much longer until they add it.
Lool worked now thx.My bad I didn't changed t system theme

OK, I'm glad it's working with 4.2.2. I think most of the problems so far have been fixable, and to be honest, this is a really simple theme so there shouldn't be any reason it won't work with any version of 4.2 PA, maybe any 4.2.x ROM period. And I was on Tapatalk so I didn't see the sig, but I thought a while after my post that maybe your info was in the sig. I kinda wish Tapatalk would add the forum signatures in, instead of separate signatures........ Oh well, seems like they're more interested in sticking ads in........
I don't think I'll be able to fix the per app color issue on the stock icons, but the thin batteries I think are fixable. I think the pa colors work by changing any part of the icon that currently has a color value to the new color. That means the white percentages, blue filled in part of the battery and grey non-filled part of the battery all get changed to the same color. I really don't know any way to make the battery percents visible while keeping the battery behind it. I'm pretty sure any theme that doesn't have colors "stacked" on top of each other should be good. I'm still working on fixing the thin batteries, though........
Edit: I don't if that's right on the per app colors, either. I just realized the signal and wifi icons still color correctly. I'll keep working on it........
Lastly, I added this to the thread in the GNex forums and didn't get a lot of response (only 7 downloads), but I'll try it here and see if you guys like it. It is a combo theme that, when on stock or phablet UI's, will show the full circle battery, but on any tablet UI shows the CM thin (blue) battery. I did that because the circle battery can be difficult to read on tablet UI, but looks really good in stock. I may need to do something different with phablet too, but I want to see if anybody uses this first. I honestly won't use it myself, because how often does anybody really change UI modes? But it was easy to make, so I thought I'd try it to see if it works, and then share it. Let me know if any of you like it or want one with different icon sets!

I'm glad you like it! I've thought about posting them there too, but just haven't tested it yet. I use CM10.1 on my Nexus 7. I'll put them up there tomorrow. I'll also put that theme up you asked for. Shouldn't take me long to make. I'm pretty sure that battery is in the pack of icons I have, but if not I'll find it in 1% levels. I know I've seen theme recently.

Due to the nature of the test builds, I will attempt to keep these mods up to date, but that relies on how quickly I apply the SystemUI mods (which should be fairly quickly as I've written a script to do it for me) and also how quickly demkantor updates the Aroma package with the new mods. Which may take longer at the moment because he firstly needs to wait for me due to the aforementioned reason and also (I think) he's still experimenting a bit and wildly trying to keep up with all the ideas I've been throwing at him. Also, we are building these mods just as much for us as for you, if not more so for others (this isn't just a grab-and-go community, after all). We would appreciate feedback on anything you guys want added or removed, of course just keep in mind we can't do everything... but almost!

CENTRE STATUSBAR CLOCK | CHOOSE YOUR COLOUR
With the enormous help of rodman01 I have modded the SystemUI.apk of the latest Andromadus CM10.1 build (18) to enable centre statusbar clock with a variety of colour options outlined by the Holo design standard. So far I have done all the colours shown on that page, plus white, so 11 colours in total. Requests for new colours are welcome.
Credits should ultimately go to rodman01 who pretty much did this for me, I did do some research beforehand though and attempted to figure it out myself but I'm too much of a n00b at modding at the moment to have completed it alone.

*If people will please check this and test I would be appreciative, I plan on more updates but need testers to get them ready faster!
HAPPY FLASHING!
as promised.... just a little late!
The attached .zips are for those who only want to change the color and placement of their clock, these are 5 of the 11 options available in the aroma installer.
i understand that many wont want to download the aroma package as it has gotten quite large so these are for those people
I do still recommend using the aroma package as it is filled with nice options and using aroma is always fun!
If there are people who want some other small zips made let us know, but for now everything stay in aroma!
Happy Flashing!

Post edited.... additions comming
Since nobody else has posted anything, I thought I'd give some (positive!) feedback:
I had been using mimicry since 1.5 came out in September, but in a (last ditch?) effort to breathe a little more life into my phone I flashed Flinny's CM10.1 build 21 on my phone yesterday with the Aroma installer you guys have put together.
Overall, it's been great! It's (of course) very straightforward to use. I had one little hiccup on my first install where I asked for my clock to be centered and dark blue - however it showed up light red - but it was so easy to go back and change it!
Since then I've easily changed adblocking programs and I think I've pretty much tried all of the boot animations - again, the Aroma installer makes it effortless.
I know you guys are looking for ideas for what to add to the installer - the only thing I can think of would maybe be inverted gapps, but I don't know how feasible that is...
Nice works guys!
Thanks for the feedback! Its near impossible to test everything so we really appreciate it when someone can't point to a flaw, must have the wrong file connected to that blue and I'll try and fix promptly
We talked about adding the inverted gapps but we fear the size of this package may grow so large people won't want to download it, also inverted gapps don't update from the market so they will always be a step or so behind, and being the type of screen we have we don't get better battery life from them but just the beauty of them (and some look great!)
Of course if enough want it well gladly add!
Thanks again and
Happy flashing!

thanks for reply! i'm using build 19, if i would flash via aroma only androicharger there's no problem, isn't it?
Each build seems to have a different servicesjar so it probably wouldn't work, if you don't want to chanage to 21 I can make you a quick flashable for 19, but 21 is running great!

I'm trying the .20 aroma installer. Very great job!
I've installed v6supercharger, cpuspy, kernel tuner and other apps.
is there any reason for such a worse battery consuption with this MOD rather than without it?

Did you install the AndromadusMod kernel? Some users are reporting bad performance with it. There's nothing else that should be negatively affecting performance.
Hey thanks for feedback!
No there shouldn't be anything there to give you any worse battery life, if anything I get slightly better. But of course the more apps you have running in the background the more CPU consumption you may have. Personally I use CPU spy and watchdog (as well as other apps) temporarily for testing purpose and then I freeze them with titanium. Not that they cause any serious drain but I just like to keep my phone to a minimum.

Thank you, i'll give them a try.
Now i have a request. Is there the possibility to have a color switcher for the entire theme and not for the clock only?
That would be a question for HTCDreamOn as I don't have the patients for theming. We have discussed maybe doing some icon packs but full themes for testbuilds are unlikely.
But if I'm not mistaken you can use metamorph to apply themes to cm roms

Theming the whole colour scheme would be very difficult without the fact that these are test builds. I am looking into battery icon stuff and maybe date if I work it out though!

I'll take a look at this. Many thanks
Hello folks!
I am presenting you guys my first yet theme for Xperia devices - Retrowave Light.
(I have added Light to the name because I have thought of making a dark version of it)
Anyway, I have made this theme to represent a design with a Sleek and Colorful experience while remaining the Fresh factor which stands for the clean Sony stock-a-like experience. (Basiclly, that is why it doesn't consist of many assets and custom icons.) While making this theme I have also tried to design it in a way which me and maybe you guys, would really like to use for your everyday usage, which is also why it went the way it is.
However, this theme is available for Free on the Play market and works for Xperia devices from Android 4.4 to 7.0.
Link: Retrowave Light Theme - On Google Play
Thanks and do not hesitate to leave a rating and/or write here of what you think!
