[Q] wireless charging sound - Verizon Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Anyone know how to stop the sound?
I prefer to silence just that sound at night while sleeping.
I don't want to root or delete the file.
I tried the silencer app in the market.
I tried turning down system volume.
I have tasker.

What sound? Mine was on a wireless charger all night and I didn't hear any noises other than the attachment to charging sound when I set the phone down

CM9 ringtone volume changes when unplugging headphones

So I've stumbled across a 'feature' in CM9 that I do not care for at all and hope that someone can help me out.
I use an app called 'Setting Profiles' to silence my phone during busy events on my Google Calendar. I've found that if I'm listening to music with headphones on my phone the app silences my phone like it's supposed to, but if I then unplug the headphones, the ringer volume returns to it's previous value. Plug the headphones back in and the phone silences itself again.
It appears as if CM9 has a volume profile for headphones plugged in and a separate profile for headphones unplugged. Is there a setting where I can disable this? Anything I can to to avoid inadvertently unsilencing my phone by unplugging my headphones?
I'm running CM9 nightly from 8-06-12.

[Q] Alarms stopped playing trough external speakers

My "wake up" alarms used to play through the external speakers I plugged in to it every night. (That's the only way I could make them loud enough to actually wake me up!) All of a sudden they stopped playing through the speakers and now only play through the phone speakers. I know the headphone jack is okay because I watch a movie or something to go to sleep and the sound for it is coming through the external speakers.
I really need help with this, please. The alarms are not loud enough without it, been late to work more than once now I don't use stock alarm tones, I use custom made music ringtones. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

disable speaker when headphones plugged

When I have the headphones plugged in, the ringer and notifications still play over the phone speaker in addition to coming over the headphones. I dont want them to. I just want them played through the headphones. I cant find a setting to disable it. Anyone know of a fix.

[Q] Mute notifications when headphones are connected

I'm currently using a stock based GB rom, Aurora 0.7.
I have a strange issue when listening to music with my headphones connected. I have the phone in silent mode so without the headphones connected the notifications make no sound. However, with the headphones connected and still in silent mode, when I get a notification the sound plays out of the phone speakers. I would expect this to not make a sound at all, or play the notification sound through the headphones.
Is there a way to change this behaviour?
Thanks.
For anyone interested, I gave SoundAbout a try, but this did not work. The best workaround seems to be Hearing Saver. The settings can be updated so there are no notification sounds played at all when the headphones are connected. Both these apps require running a background service.

How to disable USB changer plugin sound?

There is a system ui sound USB.ogg. This one plays when you connect USB power and it is an ugly beep. Is there any way to remove/kill/disable it? That is on OOS11, rooted. I have tried to remove it from shell and from root explorer, partition is r/o.
My specific problem with the sound: I have DND schedule, it start at night. Then I go to bed and connect charger. That is when the sound supposed to play. It doesn't because sounds are muted by DND. So far so good. Now there is morning and alarm plays, staring with a soft melody. The moment alarm plays DND recognizes there is an alarm and phone stops the DND (I know I can disable that and I did). For some unexplainable reason phone decides to play this ugly beep which it was unable to play in the evening when I was connecting it to the charger. Instead of the nice soft alarm I am awaken by the ugly usb sound beep. This has started with some build of OOS11.
