Hello everyone.
Can someone create for me this battery widget:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
?
I just can't do this...
If someone would like to create it I will be very happy if it will be just like in the attached picture, but if it will be one bitmap at a time (changes due to battery level) it will also be ok.
Anyone ?
Where did you found this widget
Some girl post this screenshot on Polish forum about Android in the Zooper Widget Templates thread some time ago, but I think no one had helped her and she does not reply to my PM with question about it.
Someone?
The images displayed on this screenshot aren't actually from any widget, so are you looking to have the different battery characters displayed singly depending on the battery level or something else?
It turns out that this is regular wallpaper with baterry images. Here it is: 2560x1440 resolution:
I'm looking for working widget with different battery characters (just like on the screen) displayed singly depending on the battery level
This is actually a lot easier to do than you might think
If you read through this http://www.zooper.org/wp/archives/1084 and download the example you will see how you can swap the images used for your battery images (you'll need to cut and paste them into individual images) this way you'll have an iconset which you can reuse whenever you need.
If you find you are struggling with it. Let me know and I'll knock something up when I have time

I did a search and continue to look around, but can't seem to find the right one.
I have an image that I wish to use as a background. However, the problem is, it seems to crop down the image (select a part I wish to use as my background). I don't want to crop it down. I want to use the full scale of the image. Is there anyway for me to do this? Or, do I have to modify it on Photoshop so it fits perfectly fine on My Touch G3 phone.
I hope someone is willing to resolve this issue for me and/or point me to the right direction.
if you post the wallpaper i will resize it for you
Can you tell me the dimension?

There it is.
Try This
Try searching this site for the G1 template. I found it about a year ago. It opens up in Photoshop, but once you open it up, you place your picture in the template and it fits perfectly on your phone. Works for G1 and mytouch.
If I'm correct, you'll need a wallpaper size of 640x480 pixels and any multiples of that should also work. Bottom line, you should get a wallpaper with a 4:3 ratio. Correct me if i'm wrong though
isnt there anyay to set wllpaper of 360*480 so that the wallpaper doesnt scroll and set fixed?
no1???????
Use the app, Wallpaper Set and Save, just select the image and it makes it the wallpaper

I know why I can not find it because I installed it into storage card so that there is no "Today Clock" option in

I found the font size seems to too big and HH:mm is a bit out of the screen. Is there any way to change the font size?
Sorry I forgot to attached the screen shot showing how
font size is too big. See below attached.

Looks like Launcher 7
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1025667
You need another app, links in there should help.
You can also use desktop visualizer to get the sizes right (1*2, 3*1, etc).
While you can use launcher 7 or something similar, if you want to keep launcherpro you'll need to use desktop visualizer.
Ok so how do I resize now? I dl the resize image app but its not letting me use the addon?

You shouldn't need to crop or resize the images, just download some of these types of icons that others have made, they're already sized properly. Then add a desktop visualizer widget - choose the size that corresponds to the image you want. Make sure you don't get horizontal/vertical sizes mixed up. Then once the widget is added, tap on it & it will take you to the screen to set it up. Choose your icon, then choose what it launches (shortcuts are under "other", apps under applications). To get the look right, I'd clear the text so there's not a label randomly on your image. Choose the highlight style then "ok".
If you need help finding icons to use, do a search on xda. If you can't find any, send me a pm and I'll link you to them/send you some.
thanks to you all for the help, it is much appreciated.
i did find a link that gave me the dimensions for the icons. and this is what i came up with.
still a work in progress (dont really like the gaps between the vertical icons have to widen) but i like it so far and i have to stop for the night, figured id share before going to sleep.
thanks again
*Question: Is there a way to mix or change fonts?*
Reason why I'm asking is if I have text on an arc I can save a lot of real estate by using something like icomoon and use a font representation of a battery rather then spelling out battery.
The other side of this is as text grows and shrinks using a static image would not work since it would have to grow and shrink with the text.
Example:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Is there a way to say B
And .. if I can't do that can I include a bitmap image instead?
That part of the layout read as follows right now :
Battery #BLEV# - #NWOC# - #NCCONNS#
Trying not to get so ahead of myself if the options are there.
Thanks for your efforts in answering!

No, it's not possible to change the font for certain text parts. Only for the whole Text module. Also it's not possible to inline a bitmap into a text module.
Bummer. OK.

I'm going to try my hand at making some request widgets. Get crazy with it, I wanna really push the envelope on my learning curve. Go nuts.

Hello!
I was trying to learn all the date functions, #DRd , #DRm' , et al. but I cant seem to find a solution for my very simple problem.
Im trying to count (and display) the number of days, hours, minutes that have passed since I did something (like shave or watch pr0n).
Im really frustrated, all I had were the built-ins (which seemed to always count to a future date and not up from a date). Title says it all. Cheers!
How about an sunrise sunset arc countdown bar.
Basically, I have a picture of the earth on my wallpaper and I want to see if a status bar can decline around half the globe from sun-up to sun-down. Like one would do with a battery percentage or a clock.
Thanks.
Not really that hard of a request (to you at least) but I really want this clock theme on Zooper since mClock doesnt work for me. Heres a pic and also the .xml from mClock not sure if its workable with Zooper. Thanks for your consideration.
