Does anyone know if you can back-up your SMS/MMS messages from WP7 to your PC?
I'd rather be able to do this directly than need to go through external servers, but would be interested to know if this is part of the Cloud services anyway. I think I read somewhere that you can back-up to the Cloud but not restore?
I'd also be interested to know if the API allows back-up/restore programs. As a WM6 user I do expect a lot from a mobile device, but I'm keeping my expectations for WP7 in check.

I just did a factory rest for the one X. And find previous comes by default of pictures and music when I bought disappeared. I know this rest will remove user data but thought those thing I bought comes with the phone can keep. Obvious I'm wrong.
So anyone can explain this? And how I can ask my friends who have one X to abstract those files to me. which location shall go for copy?
Currently the page of music and photo on two screen are empty.

Hi, did you do a nandroid backup? If so you can use that restore any lost files.
Well i was wondering ... is there a way to conect my devices (MY TABLET AND MY PHONE) But something faster than BT, something like airdroid? for exemple i take some pics and vids, and now i want to see them in my tab, how to move them fast from phone to my tablet? or my music.
Use Dropsync in conjunction with Dropbox. Or if you use Google+ turn on instant upload. Your pics/videos will be automatically uploaded to a private album as soon as you take them.
Hello Forum!! My wife has the T989 and she is running Jedi Knight 6 presently. The phone has the amazon mp3 player app, and we noticed that it makes duplicate copies of the music files. Can someone please explain to me why this happens, and also give me a solution to correct they problem. Thanks guys
The Media Storage gets confused when you flash a new ROM. Go to your apps through settings, and look for "Media Storage" under "ALL". Force stop it, and then clear data. It will take a bit to rebuild the music library once you open your music player, but once it does you won't have any duplicates anymore.
I was having the same issues with my pictures stored on the memory card. doubles, triples, even quadruplicate files showing as duplicated, but the "duplicates" were broken files that couldn't be viewed, and did not exist when the folder was browsed from the PC with USB storage turned on. Bobbyphoenix's recommendation fixed all that! Thx a mil. Been having this problem since I got the phone..
My wife uses S-Note to capture notes. She just got her phone back from repair and forgot to save her notes, so lost all of them. She wants to avoid this happening again by changing the note storage location to the external SD card - is this possible?
