Problem with G sensor when gaming - Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, 10.1, 8.4 Q&A, Help & Trouble

I have the Tab Pro 8.4 and have been playing GT Racing 2. The problem is the game has an option to steer the cars by tilting the Tab from left to right and when I try to do this the car spins in a circle. I've figured out that while the game is played in landscape the gyro is still registering as it was in portrait. I have tried turning the auto rotate off and forcing the Tab into landscape but it didn't help. There are no options within the game that would allow me to calibrate. I installed the game on my HTC One (M7) and it works properly. I have to believe this is a problem with the Tab and not the game itself.
Anyone else experience anything like this and or does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
Edit.
My Tab is completely stock and not rooted at this time.

Huge problem with gyroscope, please help.

As title.
Since many days my gyroscope is going mad.
If I leave the phone motionless, on a table for example, the gyroscope does not remain stationary, it moves.
I tryed the free app from the market GyroRotate, I leave the phone on the table, and the cube moves by itself. This make games like battlefield unplayable.
I'm experiencing this problem since some days, why?
I have the stock rom. Are you experiencing the same problem?
Can you try the GyroRotate app please and tell me if your cube moves if you leave the phone on the table?
Thanks.
Tested with that App and mine is fine. Have you tried the figure 8 movement to reset the gyro?

Mine also works as expected.
Thanks to all. Now is fine here also.
A battery pull solved the problem.
Neither a reboot solved before the battery pull.
My phone takes 4-5 seconds to switch from landscape and portrait and I am having the same issue with games from time to time. I am still incredibly surprised and annoyed that they did not include a "calibration" option in settings.
Mine still has roughly a 2 second lag when rotating. Today when playing a game that you can rotate to landscape on either side it keeps flipping itself as though I'm holding the phone upside down...argh...so frustrating.
I tried the figure 8 now and if that doesn't help then I did a battery pull
I tried to find the GyroRotate app but it doesn't exist on the android market.
Still having issues.
I have the same problem I wonder if the games are messed up, because the app "gyroscope rotate" works fine.
But Brothers in arms 2 (free app) it's moving to the right by itself.
Can someone else try this game?
Also Asphalt 6 is messed up too.

same problem here, tried battery pull with phone turned off and then turned on, but still neither worked. Don't understand what "8 movement" people are talking about. Is any way I can solve this problem ??? I want to use google cardboard on my galaxy s4 but it goes to one side alone slowly -.-
Goggle Cardboard problem
Hi, I have the same problem with realy slowly movement of sreen in Google Cardboard app. I have tested my gyroscope with other app and it is very accurate. Any suggestions how to fix it
Same problem with Samsung Galaxy S3, after shaking the phone the movement changes direction for a while. This problem is really visible in virtual reality apps. What can be done to fix this? Any help is really appreciated!
Same problem here with the galaxy note 3. The cardboard app is impossible to enjoy and also photospheres are moving left by their own. Could it be an hardware problem? Has anyone found a fix?
Here is the solution that worked for my Samsung Galaxy S4:
1. Open Phone app
2. Tap on Kepad tab
3. Type *#0*#
4. Tap on Sensor
5. Put your phone on a flat surface
6. Tap on Gyro selftest button
7. After the PASS message, tap the back button until you exit on the homescreen.
That's it! Hope this helps you guys.

[Q] pedal/button issue in games? (touchscreen?)

Hi Everyone,
I recently purchased a 2014 Note 10.1, primarily for gaming. It's still bone stock, updated to the latest US firmware (MK1). I am experiencing an issue with the touchscreen. In games such as Asphalt 7, Riptide & Mini Motor, if I set them for manual acceleration with an on-screen pedal, the pedal works intermittently. For instance, if I start a new game in any of the above titles, the pedal works for maybe the first 10 seconds and even with finger still on it, the on-screen pedal just deactivates at some random point. If you go to press the on-screen pedal again, it may or may not engage immediately - and if it does, it will disengage again at some point. It will do this throughout the game making them impossible to play well. At first I thought it was a problem with Asphalt 7, but the same exact thing happens in Riptide and Mini Motor. So now I'm wondering if my brand new Note has a touchscreen issue or if this is problem that other people can reproduce.
Could anyone please let me know if this exact same behavior happens to you? I really don't want to have to return this tablet if its just a driver issue.
Please let me know, thanks.

Galaxy tab pro 10.1 gyro problem

hello,
I have a problem with gyroscope poorly calibrated on my tablet SM-T525
I've realized it with the launch of the game Real Racing 3, control by tilting the tablet, I have to keep it to the right to go straight .....
And the option to calibrate inside the game does not change anything.
Obviously, same problem with application bubble level, the bubble is not in the center when I put the tablet on a flat surface.
And no calibration option in the settings of the tablet.
Rather common problem? A future update of the firmware can solve it?

[Q] 'THIS USER IS WITHDRAWING' message

While using my tab s 8.4 I get this message 'THIS USER IS WITHDRAWING' does any one knows what it means? Thanks.
After playing more and trying to isolate the problem this message appears when you rotate the screen from portrait to landscape
Most likely a bug with that game. What is happening is it is interpreting a screen rotation as the app restarting. So it looks like you just quit and re enter the game.
Email the dev and let them know the problem.
Hi to all. I have the same problem with the message on my tab s 8.4. Stock ROM, no root. Before that i had message - an error to load widget. I used 3 lunchers Nova, Tuchwiz and Google start. I cleared cash everywhere, nothing helped me. I started to have this problem today morning.
Now i have only the message -this user in withdrawing while i rotate the device only. What is this? How to solve this problem?
Seeing this and the widget loading error when rotating screen on my partner's T705.
Looks to me like a Samsung rom error, have tried all things! Removing widgets, apps and resetting etc.
Samsung - fix this please!

Blame WatchON
I had this problem on my T700 samsung galaxy tab s 8.4.
For me it appears to have been caused by 'Samsung WatchON'. I would often check the programs open/running on my galaxt tab s 8.4, and see something that had an icon which looked like an old TV was always there, but the name after Samsung... was cut out. Whenever I swiped to close this, then subsequently rotated my screen from landscape to portrait (only one orientation of landscape to portrait worked, as in, landscape on the left side to portrait wouldn't work, but landscape on the right side to portrait would) would give the messamessage 'This user is withdrawing'. I only got the message after closing WatchON and rotating (which opens WatchON, there is no escape).
So anyway, I opened WatchON, where a message popped up saying that this service has been discontinued, tapped okay and it removed WatchON for me. Issue solved.
TL;DR Samsung WatchON is the cause, open/disable/delete to solve.
I concur with Andurael, removing WatchOn seems to sort the problem. Thanks, that was really bothering me!
