Bricked Tab Pro 8.4 SM-T320 - Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, 10.1, 8.4 Q&A, Help & Trouble

I tried to root and flashed CM12 to Tab pro 8.4
but I encountered error "Unfortunately Setup Wizard has stopped working"
so I tried to factory reset it but its up wiped the TWRP Recovery mode too
now whenever I turn on my tablet, I still get the error, I can't enter recovery mode but my device is still rooted
Is there a way to flash the TWRP or CWM back into it? or possibly unroot and install the stock firmware back?
Thank you

I had a similar problem with a failed root. I launched Kies and reflashed the firmware, and it went back to stock.

Actually realized the problem when you flash cm12 you need to use gapps lolipop.
Not kitkat gapps.

[Q] Problem flashing new system, boots into recovery

Hello,
I flashed my device (recovery only) with Odin, installing TWRP v2.6.3.0. The recovery works properly. After that, I did a complete wipe and I flashed my Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 WiFi with this ROM. Unfortunatelly it boots into recovery every time and I can't install any ROM on my device. Is there any way how to fix it, or am I completely lost? I've installed cynaogen mod in similar way on my I-9000 and everything worked fine, so this accident was a real surprise for me. Please, could anyone help?
Regards,
Max

I am having the same problem with my G Tab 3 7 -ST217 from Sprint. I have root access. At first I could only reboot to recovery ONCE after Odin. Now I can consistently reboot to recovery. Every time I try to install anything from a zip in TWRP then reboot, it didn't install and instead restarts the factory android and goes through the first time startup and update cycle. Can't seem to get a ROM to stick.
When you do the ROM installation with TWRP, do you see a message after installation saying "unable to mount" or something similar? If so, the ROM was not installed and the device would either stop at the boot logo or restart to recovery. You might need to try flashing a different recovery.
Thats one theory. The other is that there was a problem with the ROM. Maybe corrupted during download or something of that sort. In which case re-download and if a md5 is there run the checksum and try again.

Recovery Fail!

So two days ago I thought about installing Vision X rom on my Note 3 (T Mobile).
I downloaded the ROM and then backed up my current ROM (nandroid). I had Phillz touch recovery then.
Then I thought about going to TWRP and thus I downloaded the latest zip for my phone and flashed it via Phillz upon trying to reboot into recovery it got stuck in the screen "Rebooting Recovery...".
When I restarted it would still try to reboot into recovery and get stuck. I got out of that by going into download mode and then selecting "Restart Phone".
After that I looked for solutions and upon failing to find any I thought about going back to stock and starting from ground zero. I managed to flash the latest stock using Odin however I forgot to do a factory reset before hand.
When I tried to do a factory reset in my, now stock, phone it failed and then got stuck trying to get into recovery. It would flash "Rebooting Recovery..." then restart and flash that in a loop.
I have lost my root as well in the process and trying to root using Odin and CF-Root just get's me back in the recovery boot loop. I can use the phone OK however this is not a stable situation.
I'm sure I've made some serious errors in the tinkering and would like to get my recovery back. I really love Custom Roms. Any kind and knowledgeable souls out there to help me in my cause?

Go to the Playstore and download TWRP Coordinator and then
use it to install the latest TWRP recovery for your phone.
Once you can get back into TWRP recovery you need to flash
the cf-autoroot for your phone. Be sure you flash the CORRECT
version of cf-autoroot for your phone's model.
Good luck!

The app is constantly crashing!
It would start for a second then close. I tried the TWRP manager as well with the same result.
I've lost root access when I Odined back to stock, won't I need root access to install new recoveries?
Sounds like you flashed the stock 4.4 firmware and now need recovery to root. Flash this TWRP file using Odin http://goo.im/devs/OpenRecovery/hltetmo/openrecovery-twrp-2.7.0.1-hltetmo-4.4.img.tar
Once you flash it, you need to boot into recovery to install supersu to root.
Switch off the Galaxy Note 3 (remove the battery and reinsert if needed)
Next, press and hold simultaneously Volume Up, Home and Power.Release the buttons when the screen flickers and wait for the TWRP menu.
Select Reboot, then System and install Supersu for root.
Once booted, open Supersu to update it and grant permission.
Hope this helps. Good luck.

[Q] Urgent Help! Bricked Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10in

Hello all i have bricked my Samsung Galaxy tab 3
I have tried rooting but it ended up giving me a boot loop
Nothing has worked, I have tried flashing a stock ROM, it was unsuccessful, i have tried a rooted ROM, it was successful though i was still stuck in a boot loop, so i flashed Philz recovery and that worked but it didn't clear anything.
I'm currently downloading another Stock ROM and I hope it works.
I also tried adb and that didnt work either.
How can I stock recover this device.

Have you tried using Odin to return to stock? don't forget to "uncheck" auto reboot. After flash completes, shut down, then restart.
Here's a thread for using Odin to return to stock
...and wipe/format system, data, cache etc before flashing
Which version? P5220(the LTE version) P5210(wifi only version) p5200 3g version
you can try out odin, flash everything including stock rom and recovery. Start everything all over.

My phone won't wipe nor flash a new rom/recovery

Hi there. Here I have my t989 with stable cm11 by Sultanxda and twrp 2.7.0.0 installed.
Everything was fine until I wanted to try 5.0.1.
I got into twrp and did the usual wipe and install ParanoidAndroid 5.0. It failed.
Ok stuff happens so I just went restore my backup no big deal.
Now when I reboot back my phone looks as it were before BUT it reboots after 2-3 minutes in every time it boots back up.
So I thought the power button has problem but soon I figured it is not because my phone won't self reboot in recovery and download mode.
I went back to twrp and try to wipe it clean and install cm11 instead of restoring to my previous backup.
Wipe says successful, install says successful, reboot system. And only to find myself still in my old Rom and nothing was wiped.
All my apps are still there blahblahblah. I tried to update my twrp through twrp manager but phone reboot before it finishes installing.
I grab my odiin and try to update recovery there. Odin says success. Goes to recovery only to find its still in 2.7.0.0
Download a stock .tar and flash it with Odin. Odin says success, boot up and still in my old cm11 rom...
Now I went out of option but ask for help. I have done flashing for 3 years with this phone and I have never gotten this problem before.
Please Help

Tablet wont reboot in recovery mode after flashing TWRP

Hi to everyone.
Recently, I wanted to mod my tablet (SM-T805 chagalllite) and install the TWRP, and then a custom ROM. I followed a guide, dowloaded the twrp.img.tar file, dowloaded ODIN (3.13) and continued. I started my tablet in Fastboot/Odin mode, selected the file under the AP checkbox, connected it to the computer and then flashed the recovery. It said PASS and immediatly after it rebooted I pressed the key combo Power+Home+VolUp but it started normally. When I returned to the fastboot mode, it said KNOX WARRANTY VOID 1, so it did something. But simply the recovery wont start up, although I retried another 3 times. I tried with the AutoRoot package, it did the red android thing, the SuperSu app was there but the Root Binary wasn't. Any help?
P.S:
The twrp and odin are both at last version.
Nevermind, I solved my problem. I installed CF Autoroot which reinstalled stock recovery, and flashed TWRP using its official app.:good:
I need help was using twrp 321 some thing for quite a while and had no issues flashing ROMs back up ect. But I tried to do a restore and it failed due to , unable to mount system.
Ok no problem i thought I'll reboot and try again. Only now twrp loads the splash screen then reboots it self. IV tried updating to latest version with Odin still doesn't help. Samsung t805 here please help

Ok I fixed it the back up from twrp curreupted the recovery partition. Even reinstall twrp doesn't work or trying to get the stock recovery. To fix it you need to download the entire stock ROM and install the ap via oden in odin mode. My system didn't even boot stock but this fixed the recovery partition and could flash twrp and install a custom ROM
