touchscreen XDAIIs and XDAIII - the same ? what about this ebay offer ?

hello,
there is a cheap offer for XDAIIs touchscreens on ebay.
i have a XDAIII - not a XDAIIs - i have a PB20B1 (board id 5) - not a PH20B.
does somebody know, if this touchscreen would work on my device ?

xda 3 and 2s are the same model.
it´s just the provider name.
(the "real" name is HTC BlueAngel)
in germany its called xda 3 and in usa and england it is called 2s.
but thera are 2 different display types for the Blueangel !

i readed the wiki: ok IIs and III should both be board ID 5 - and so they should both have the sony display.
but: the seller says for IIs and for PDA2K ! pda2K would be board ID 6 - so it's not the sony display ?
i don't get it ? does he not know, what he's talking about - or are the displays different - but the touchscreen the same ?
do you know ?

actually the wiki does not really answer my question.
i only want to buy the touchscreen-digitizer (only the glass and the digitizer-foil) - not the whole LCD.

Since the sellers at ebay can't tell me, if their touchscreen is for the toppology-LCD (i assume, cause i think in USA might me more toppologys than sonys ??) or for sony-LCD i want to make sure to buy the right thing.
so, there are 2 different LCDs - but do they maybe have the same touchscreen-digitizer (glass and foil) ? if so, i can buy it without doubt.

i bought the XDAIII used - from a german guy.

Both touch screens are the same, the difference is in the connector to the back of the lcd, one has wide spacings , the other thinner, the one posted in your ebay link is the thinner one. the only way to tell what screen you need is to look inside. Also the thinner screen has two holes either side the tracks, the wider spaced tracked one has one hole in the centre of the tracks.

I got lcd with 'wide' tape and just bought a replacement digitizer with 'thin' tape.
I think I'll manage to solder them together.
Question is..
Will it work? If I've done it properly, will it work? (i'm kinda smart with soldering iron xd)

I didn't reveive it already, but i will tell you how reliable it is. (Honestly, it can't be worst than the original one !)
Maybe an xperia user tried it before, and can tell us how better it is ?

I didnt't receive it already after 3 weeks ...
Yesterday my xperia felt into my bath water so i desassembled it to make it dry.
This morning i decided to clean the keyboard following that procedure :

And y would you care buying.....just cleaning your old keyboard once every...say 6 months....will do perfect......I did yesterday and the keyboard is better than new !!

Is it difficult to change the whole housing?! Found this at ebay... so.. its possible to change my silver one to that black one?!?!

Does anybody know If I can find a housing I could buy anywhere which wouldn't need a payment through paypal ?!?

Order it direct from Sony? Maybe ship it to them and have them change it.

They don't have it yet .....

There is even some pieces that i was afraid to wear out too quickly (Slider flex cable) Now we can keep our x1 for centurys. Hum.
Didn't try the keyboard they sell here too.
But Darkhalf520 is right, cleaning the keyboard each 6 mouthes is a bit tricky but highly creditable.
My keyboard now feels good, no double typing or no letter typed anymore.
It is a pleasure to type very fast, without checking the screen after mistake...

It's worst because you need to make sure there is no dust when you install the keyboard.

Recently cracked a screen on my XS after severe impact , and after the service guy opened it , he found that this chip also fell of a MBO. Anyone know it's function ? Front camera maybe (i hope soo) . He'll try to get it back , but i'm curious

I'd like to buy an LCD display from Aliexpress for replaice my cracked screen.
Has anybody bought LT26i LCD display for replacing from Aliexpress sellers for about $50? Is this realy original or not? Is it has some differences from original Sony in quality, colors, touch screen?

Soo here it goes....a few days ago I dropped my phone vertically ie headphone jack side straight to the ground while I was using it(Thanks to my slippery hands) and now the screen has shattered a little on the bottom around the fingerprint area but everything is fine touch works display works its just the glass above it cracked, I went to a local shop nearby (I dont think going to a lenovo service center with a shattered screen will help as it can only shatter my pocket) and they reckoned it to be around 2400rs or 37$ for a 99% copy I guess and 800rs extra or around 50$ for a original one so I did a little research online and found I can get one display with lcd for as low as 19.60$ on alixpress,I'm confused between these three ones this one's 19$ but no customer or seller reviews but with slight fast shipping in just 15-25 days(https://m.aliexpress.com/item/32856511836.html), other two are about 24$(One's 23.16$ another is 24.20$)with good rating and orders and normal 30 days shipping (https://m.aliexpress.com/item/32796869178.html)(https://m.aliexpress.com/item/32825740296.html) if you have any other suggestions or experience buying one its most welcome, now coming to the tutorial part this one seems legit the best one I found (https://youtu.be/-osJu7OMxVk)this chinese forum post had one guy do it and posted about 100+ pics while replacing it but now I can't seem to open it anymore :crying: (http://bbs.lenovomobile.cn/z2/t260432/) here too if you get any better ones please suggest also there are a tons of teardown videos too if someone can make me understand lol,I'm a noob when it comes to replacements,teardown things and my first time and I have to make sure not to **** up as I can't buy another phone for at least a year,the post I made is lengthy with every details is because some day someone else will be in the same spot and I hope this post comes to their help too...

Get only the glass replaced by a professional, no need to change the display. It'll cost less than ₹1,000

IF its possible change only digitizer
But that operation cannot be done without special tools for heating etc, putting back can be tricky
As for buying new screen, see if you can find on your local advertising sites some Z2 with dead motherboard
Original is always best
If you buy from Ali, buy the most expensive one because those cheaper can destroy your experience with the phone...
Read feedback always on Ali

I tried asking at one shop but he told it I'll cost 2.4k for a copy and 800rs extra for the original I'll try asking a few other shops then

I haven't tried to even dissemble any mobile yet so replacing just the digitalizer as said by many is too hard without the required tools and I have none of them I'll try asking any professional once again if not I have to go for aliexpress for the lcd and digitalizer as it can done at home

Also be aware of the fingerprint scanner. I think that should he also disassembled, or ask seller does it have fingerprint scanner with lcd... Read about that
If you don't have experience, I would say go with the service center. Opening this phone can be tricky.

So...I polished my HWatch a little too much and wore off part of the bezel.....In my incessant searching, I found this.

I hope this helps anyone looking for a replacement bezel / screen. I purchased one myself....waiting for delivery. However, it does not come with a side button. I plan on using mine....but have no idea how to place it on the new bezel. The seller indicates one needs a professional tool, but does not specify what.
Update: They indicate that they have cases with the button. I'm looking forward to replacing my beat up one. $14 for a shiny new watch, can't be beat!

Bought a new screen due to burn in, but I can't seem to separate the screen from the frame.
I'm sure there used to be an ifixit teardown for this watch (that I followed when I changed the battery a few years ago, but it's not there anymore!
Any ideas how to get the screen out?
