every rom is bad rom for REDMI if using the default overclocked CPU and mpdecision enabled.
MIUIv5 ( android v4.3 / update v45 ) addressed this issue and fixed RAM management & CPU freq. max less than 1.2Gz
You can install any rom (root it ) and get a good battery backup, by installing either ( performance Control / SetCPU / nofrills CPU ) and trickster mod for kernel..
Having said that keep the charged phone overnight to observe the idle battery drain and 1hr of a specific app running to see busy battery drain.
This will give you better vitals to base your comparison. LCD Screen brightness is also a key factor.
Find a rom and then stick to it for atleast a week ( 3-4 battery cycles ) before passing a judgement on its battery consumption bahavior.

Mokee team begin the release of 7.x.x versions. Have a good experience!

For now this (unofficial) is the only ROM which offer the native option to install on SDcard even if is not working at all apps.

Which button don't work. For me is just one: the network mode toggle button. The rest work flawlessly.

How's battery backup and performance.

I use the sychost release because of the possibility to install app on sdcard. The release version is for the daily use because of stability.

I use just UNOFFICIAL build from sychost (is bad that no release from him yet) and there notification LED work.

food for thought, you can never ever flash custom roms(with custom kernels) without unlocking bootloader.

Yes. amami = Z1c

Works well. Definitely a speed improvement over stock cm12. It has got the extra quick tiles too,.
edit. Standard cm12 issues like videocam very dodgy, and cam bombing after a few pics. Cm12 committed the backlight fixes in 25th nightly , not sure they are included as I haven't tested.

I get better battery by changing mobile network to 3g and having auto sync off. . It is more battery hungry than stock.

battery life is definitely worse than stock 4.4.4 rom, but it'll do for me.
pretty much normal usage, with LINE and WhatsApp running in the background, one widget (with passive refresh). no social netwoking running at all.
i've been encountering some bug with videos (video camera included), and bluetooth music to my car (connects, but won't play, need to be restarted first, reconnect, it will be fine for several minutes of playing, then hangs). Also can't take picture straight from Whatsapp.
overall, it's good for daily driver, and it's noticeably faster than stock CM12 rom.

Touch screen not working after installation

I installed the rom after a full wipe(factory reset,cache,system and delvik cache). after the system restarted the touch screen is not responding at all. Also i am not able to go into recovery by pressing power and vol down key after a restart.

Flash a kernel with an included recovery via flashtool and try to get into your recovery. Then restore your backup.
Obviously you did something wrong. But you didn't provide enough info to analyse it...

Brightness issues
Installed this yesterday, nice rom, really enjoying LP features. Everything was working smoothly but now screen is stuck at minimum brightness. A fresh reboot resets screen level but after a sleep/wake its back to min. I have both auto brightness and adaptive turned off. Not sure if this is a standard issue or I screwed up something.

Can you please provide link on how to flash the kernal... also i use fastboot to flash. so is there a link for it.
As far as the info on what i did, i had cm 11 installed with cwm recovery. Then i just flashed the rom and the ga apps and when the rom booted and in initialization page (language selection page). screen was not at all responding. finally i flashed cwm again and installed cm11 again. will not flashing the boot.img file from rom cause this.
But i even tried flashing that too. So it would be great if you can help me figure out what i missed.

Presumably the same as cm-13.0... i'm a new user to this ROM too, so far tested on the telephony side (phone calls, WiFi, BT, GPS, FM) & etc, all is working though the data connection is a bit tricky, you'll have to go to Settings => SIM cards => Cellular data => select SIM1 or 2 then only LTE will work... RD Santhosh M has shared a tip, go to Settings => Spare Parts... :good: Else then it's almost the same as a stock cm-13.0 ROM....

Been using this ROM and have found that this is the only ROM I've tried that lets ALL apps write to the SD card. So, if you use Titanium backup you don't need to use your internal storage. All browsers can save to the SD card as well.

Temasek has been developing this ROM since the cm-7 days ! And he only cherry-picked only the goodies from many sources while UI stays as cm-13.0 & yet nobody is trying this awesome ROM, it has been three weeks now & the downloads is just 108 as of today...

I guess there are so many ROMs now, folks must be confused btw, am using your Xperiance ROM and its been amazing so far!

So many ROMs now ? There are hundreds or may be even thousands of Android custom ROMs available on github but most probably just fifty over are buildable as of today & we're not even halfway there yet... My XPerience ROM ? Nay, i'm just a ROM Cooker, the XPerience ROM belongs to TeamMex... :good: That's why it is important to feedback bugs reporting directly to the ROM DEV & not me however you can share whatever findings on that particular ROM on those threads accordingly...

Very well, I am always thankful to this xda community! Such wealth of info and dedicated folk here....kudos to all!

Temasek has been developing this ROM since the cm-7 days ! And he only cherry-picked only the goodies from many sources while UI stays as cm-13.0 & yet nobody is trying this awesome ROM, it has been three weeks now & the downloads is just 108 as of today...

Its become my DD. I try out all ROMs but keep coming back to this one.

I don't own a Honor 5X but its in my list of options for my next phone. This ROM seems great and its sad with how open the android development world is that even a great ROM by a experienced DEV if you will has low interest. Its to bad there isn't a way to better acknowledge good ROM's vs the randomness of it all. Rom1 vs Rom2 VS Rom3 and so on. Its weird in the jailbreak world a good app/theme/tweak either crashes or burns but android well its android.

The fact is this phone didn't get great reviews and was a poor seller. You must remember only a very small portion of phone buyers care about rooting and roms and if the phone does not sell well it only means the number of downloads for x rom will be low as well. Same thing happened with the HTC M9, It's a great device but never sold well so the developers had very small number of followers.

I moved from the LG G3 to Huawei 5X and truthfully much happier with this phone. A lot don't know about it, but with the custom ROMs, this phone works well. I can only imagine that the higher end Huawei's phones are impressive with custom ROMs. I will try this ROM, presently on AICP and loving it!

AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

Camera Issue on Boot (Sometimes, when the device boots, you need to open and close the camera to take photos)
Camera force close some times (can be fixed using camera restarted app)
In-Call Audio using Earpiece/Handset produces a minor echo effect (may appear or may not, this is random)
OK Google doesn't work. (Possible missing audio path)
Screen Recording (Rendering issues, just like on GearCM 13)
Security Barriers (Zygote only)
Shared Storage doesn't work (F2FS issues, probably Kernel Related)
SELinux (Incomplete Policies, meaning that only Permissive Mode can be used currently)
ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Marshmallow. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Don't do it if you don't know it
Full wipe, flash rom, flash gapps, boot
ROM has gapps persistance in between dirty flashes
KERNEL:
Kernel in this rom follows CM source with custom additions:
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.

well both are very new roms rr is 3 days old n i made aicp just yesterday
both gave me excellent standby time further testing can be done by other users

I'm sure both are great rom in their respective rights. I believe you developed every rom to have their own identities & characteristics. Thumbs up for being an active & attentive developer

Yes, this rom is for GT-i9500.
It have a good battery according the report of some people.
There are some bugs:

It's really a awesome ROM, thanks for your hard work.
But I found selinux is enabled, I don't know why.Maybe I did something wrong.
