Well maybe the fact your running a nightly explains it. Those are experimental builds which may have issues, go back to previous nightly or to a stable release I'm sure it will start working again.

I've tried older builds including M1 and M2 and when I do my prl profile update fails giving a 602 error and I can't get online at all. I have updated the radio to FD02 several times after updating the ROM but it does nothing.

Can't Toggle LTE on Cyanogenmod 11

It's stuck on off and I'm afraid of being stuck on 3G permanently.

I'm on Galaxy SIII from Sprint. I was running latest Beanstalk and same issue happened to me and others once flashing the 4.4.2.249 build if I remember right, and we lost LTE ability, 3G worked. It looks like the problem was related to the Cyanogenmod 11 source code which Beanstalk is based on.
In order to fix it, we had to revert back to a stock rooted 4.3 rom, wait until had LTE back (which was few minutes for me), and then back to a previously working Beanstalk Rom. I tried to recover from my backup before going to rooted 4.3 rom but that did not bring back my LTE so that's why I went back to 4.3 rooted first and then after getting LTE on that I recovered from my previous backup.
Seems other roms based on the same source are all having same issue. I'm waiting for someone to confirm that LTE works before doing any other Rom flashes. I love the Beanstalk Rom by the way and the amazing work of Cyanogenmod team.

Works on AOSB, Updating PRL and profile in between flashes can help.

[Q] Will CM for d2lte work for d2tmo?

I want to flash CM onto my SGH-T999, but the latest CM nightly is from February. I recently flashed SlimKat and they consolidated d2tmo and the other s3 models under d2lte. Would this apply to CM as well?
Also is a nightly basically a rom that is still buggy and therefore needs to be reflashed every so often when a new nightly is available? Would I have to wipe and reset my phone each time?
Thanks in advance.
CM is the one that merged all d2 devices to d2lte so yes.. And you don't have to wipe and reset every time you flash a nightly, but just remember you may experience a few bugs if you don't from time to time
Canadian T999V
I have a very similar question and I saw this thread and decided not to open a brand new one, but will the dtlte also work for the Canadian t999v, I just want to make sure so I don't brick my device. Going to be flashing it tonight. \
Update: I just flashed the M9 stable, works. Very Nice

[Q] Does the CM12.1 d2tmo work with an S3 d2lte?

I see that the nightly branch for the d2lte has not been updated for a while.
Can I use the d2tmo builds for my d2lte?
I'm guessing I will lose LTE capabilities. What about 4G?
Anything else I would lose? If it even works for my phone that is.
Thanks!
Yes, it will work, I am using it just fine on my D2lte.. for the speeds I am get H+ data.. is that close to 4G?

I think H+ is slower than 4G but faster than 3G. Not that it matters in my case though since 4G pretty much sucks in my country.
So what should I do? I have the latest TWRP and latest nightly build for the d2lte.
Just download the latest 12.1 nightly for the d2tmo and flash?

Just to be safe make sure you are on a 4.4 ROM before you do. and yea just the usual flash method.. remember to wipe it clean.

Thanks man. I upgraded successfully. Not sure I like Lollipop that much though. Seems to run smoother which is a plus. I guess I'll have to unlearn a ton of stuff. :victory:

I like the easter egg. you could play flappy bird from it Lollipop is ok for me.. it takes away lock screen short cuts tho. i barely used it anyway The thing i dont like is the Data toggle switch it takes 2 clicks vs. wifi it takes only 1.
I have to bump this thread since the d2tmo 5.1 builds are not working for me.
I was able to flash just fine but modem is not working. I cannot connect to my provider via normal cellphone nor data.
I was wondering if anyone knows if I could flash my d2lte with a d2tmo CM12.1 build and then flash it with the latest modem for my phone: TMOGalaxyS3LTE_UVUBNC1_Modem.zip
Would this work or would I brick it somehow?
Thanks!

What modem is currently on your phone? You may need to update your d2lte bootloader and modem to the latest kit kat to resolve the issue.

I reverted back to the last available CM 11 nightly for d2lte and newest modem for the LTE which is TMOGalaxyS3LTE_UVUBNC1_Modem and everything is working again.
I'm currently on TWRP 2.8.7.0.
So if I understood correctly, it would be safe for me to flash my d2lte with the cm 12.1 d2tmo builds and then flash it with the s3 lte modem?
Thanks
The latest d2tmo rom may not work unless you flash the d2tmo rom followed by a d2lte kernel.
I do recommend cross flashing the modems between the two phones.
Flashing cm12.1 builds does not change the phone's modem or bootloader.

Has anyone gotten LTE to work with latest CM ROM?

I have a stable bluetooth with ipipipip's help but no LTE. I can see there is cell service in the data use log but CM 14 doesn't load with functional LTE. I can flash back to stock OS and the LTE comes right back. Missing driver? Anyone have the stock LTE driver and know where to put it in the CM OS?
