WIP [ROM] MIUI V5 for LG Optimus G Pro

Hi All,
Trying to port MIUI V5 to our great device.........
I have some knowledge and skills, but it is not enough I guess.......
Initilly rom was not booting at all....... Now its stuck at the MI logo:crying:. Posting this here because I cannot post in the dev forums yet. Any help is appreciated. Especially if you are an experienced dev, please look into this...... Many of us will be benefited from this.......
Here is the link to my work...... The base is the official CM 10.2 nightly build. and the MIUI is from the Oppo Find 5.

After reading numerous tutorials I have got this far. Wont have mutch time in the coming week...... Office and all.....

Its the Best rom. I hope in a future we will take full functional MIUI =)

When do you expect to be bootable?

Its not a boot loop, if it was a boot loop it wil boot your phone fully again, but this is more cant boot up, i think its in the framework.jar or service.jar

Please can somebody help me, i was trying to port miui and when i flash it back to stock with the kdz file, it says there is no internal sdcard, knows somebody a solution? Please help me, now i can't download, take pictures.

Do not despair!
Try resetting the flash program (I think KDZ) in the main factory ruins.
He must go. But I think it's XDA forum has unbrick description.

Anyone who want to try MIUI V5 for G Pro, please PM me.

it works on f240k

touch screen becomes unresponsive after install in 6.0.4.7 with last kernel.

i tried your rom but it made my phone horrible ....
first my phone was flashed with Lg flash tool to e980 then after that i put this rom
then .... i can't access anything i cant access boot or recovery mod .. every time phone reboot like factory rest and rest everything i can't root and even drivers definition in computer not complete Lg PC suite can't identify it and i can't even use LG flashtool again to flash new rom
because i thing there is problem in definition of phone ... i tired everything for identify driver and it not work
in phone itself
it can't read cell network file manager can' be open

mac address issue
hi! i just flashed this 2 hrs ago.. and im quite surprised that it worked.. hehe..
so far the issue that im having is that it changes the MAC address of the device if i reboot it..
any idea to fix this? unfortunately i cant turn off the MAC filter on my router..

You don't need to unlock your BL. just choose locked bootloader in the aroma installer. for darkness, either untick auto or go under light

Can you send me a link or a command to reset that sensor because if i go under 20% its light goes off so i want it to make it till 0%

There's no such a problem here. the screen never goes off even on 0% light. and the auto brightness is always like auto brightness in every phones. Don't get what your problem is.

I know that this is not on a normal phone but it is just because there is some mal functioning in my phone but if i want to reset this sensor so any software or command and now currently i am using your Rom quite fast but one thing missing that there is no option like Sling OTA update, it will be very good if you add this option.

yes. I removed it. It is good when there is an OTA update. Otherwise, it's useless.

is this kernel (Solid_Kernel_V1.81STOCK-KK) compatible with this rom? someone told me that adding this you will have tap to sleep/wake working.

Dear Abbas i am currently Using your Rom and i have notice one thing that it consume more power than Sling blue berry ROM but rather than this your ROM work Perfectly and keep in mind i have also install Greenify Too for reducing battery draining and thanks for updating all the LG apps like Keyboard and all others.

I don't think so. I tried to remove something whenever I added something to scale RAM and battery consumption.

Facebook Force Closed
Dear Abbas i also notice that facebook crash on video playback but it close when we press back button while the video is in play mode. but the problem is not in your ROM because after the last update of Facebook i face this,, before its working fine, i mean on the previous Version of Facebook its working very Well.

Unable to mount data partiton
Dear frend i m using redmi 1s on stock rom
then i tried to update it to beta build of the rom available on miui site
i downloaded it and in updater given the path to update file
then it rebooted into recovery and stucked at 98% i left it as it for approximately 15 minutes and then it showed update failed
then i restarted it and it got stuck at mi logo
then i tried wiping data through custum recovery twrp it shows unable to mount data and cache
i also tried to flash rom through twrp but same happens phone again stucks at mi logo
i have recovery and fastboot acces please help me
I THINK its data partiton got cruppted
i tried to find the solution but all solutions are phone secific and i m just a beginer so please help

-flash twrp again via fastboot(google to know how)
-go to twrp and advance wipe except internal,external sd and otg
-i can't remember the name,but select the option in twrp menu...last one on left side..
-there you see a option to fix permissions..select it and go through it
-next go to install and select rom.zip and flash

allready one advance wipe
it again shows unable to mount data

it shows that it had done
but nothing happens same problem presists

MIUI6 Stable rom installation
Hello, I am currently running on miui6 6.5.9 and on CWM recovery and Xcelerate kernel on my redmi 1s. Today the stable MIUI6 build was released v6.6.1.0. So,obviously am thinking of porting to the stable rom. My doubt is whether i need to update first to 6.5.25 build which was realsed last week to get a continuous update or sort ,or can i directly jump to the stable ROM ?Also,does it affect the fact that am on custom kernel and recovery?

flash stock miui v6 stable through fastboot...best way to start a new rom..make backup of internal angd wipe internal also..

But cannot detect any simcard... The imei is correct but still no phone signal

No signal or no simcard detected?
If no signal the following should help,
Enter settings > Simcards/mobile network > Select the sim slot currently using > Cellular network
From here you can select manually, if its already on manual then choose the other, choose automatically.
If no simcard detected,
I'm using a custom rom, rise os, the sim doesn't detect after a reboot, another reboot solves the problem.
