Rom / mod question - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Why is it that the Verizon note 4 has custom roms and kernels but we don't have any at all for at&t?

It seems like the rooted ROMs for the Verizon Note 4 are for the developer edition which has an unlockable boot loader.

If you are on Tmobile and your phone is an AT&T you should flash the N900T
Tmobile version of this rom, you should also flash a tmobile N900T kernel.
It can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2671039
I heard that AT&T Note 3's even rooted and using safe-strap cannot flash any
aroma type roms, but your in luck here, cause none of the Vision X roms are
the aroma type.
Good luck!

[Q] Developers Edition ROM Question - N910VOYU1ANJ5

Hello all,
The Baseband on my Note 4 is N910VOYU1ANJ5. However, I don't see any ROMs that are marked with "N910VOYU1ANJ5"
Does this mean that I cannot flash any of these ROMs to my developers edition Note 4?
There's developers that could use your help if your willing to offer your services over here and they maybe could answer your questions also

You can make your own nandroid backup at least I guess. In terms of roms being made for your phone, might have to wait until the non-developer Verizon Note 4 is rooted for there to be a larger community of people making roms.
Hopefully once the AT&T Note 4 phone and Verizon Note 4 phone get rooted it won't be that hard to make use of what people have done for the T-Mobile and Sprint ones.

There are a few for baseband NJ5...Definitive in the Vzw development thread and over in the T-Mobile dev thread there is a version of Firekat for Verizon.

Note 4 Developer Edition Clarification

I would like some clarification on the note 4 SM-910v Developer Edition. It is rooted, TWRP installed, backups made (aboot, and system).
1. Is it safe to flash CM12, Beanstalk, or other custom roms? I have seen them listed for other models of the Note 4 but never the 910v. I assume that is because 90% of Verizon note 4's have locked bootloaders.
2. Is it possible to safely install a Lollipop touchwiz versionn? I know there is a polish and possibly German version out that is 5.0. Also does that give rise to any concern about locking the bootloader?
Your all's help is much appreciated.

1. Yes, you can flash any of the custom ROMs.
2. There are currently no TW Lollipop ROMs for our device.

Thanks for answer.
After years of complaining about touchwiz on other devices, I actually like and use a lot of the note 4 touchwiz features.
I wouldn't want to lose multiwindow or S pen, so touchwiz for me.
Be careful flashing "any" ROM...you may need a different kernel for a foreign or other carrier's build...if it will boot at all. There is a working version of CM12 in the development thread and there are a few other 4.4.4 ROMs there and one FireKat 4.4.4 build specific to Verizon in the T-Mobile dev thread.
fyi i ran cm12 (beanstalk) for a day and it was butter. few issues with data dropping that was why i left but i will try again one day it was sweet

If it is a VZW Note 4 DE that you bought straight from Samsung...the bootloader is unlocked.
Sent from my SM-N910V / VZW Note 4 DE / Factory Bootloader Unlocked / Rooted / Custom Kernel-ed/ TWRP 2.8.5.0.trltevzw

[Q] Can Note 4 DE install international (other carrier) ROMs?

I am looking to upgrade to the Note 4 from my Verizon S4 (w/ MDK unlocked bootloader), and I would like to know if any of the Note 4 Developer Edition users are able to install international or other carrier ROMs. If I purchased a Note 4 DE, would I be able to use ROMs/kernels from the other Note 4 developer threads? I imagine there are some limitations with possibly having to flash some files to work on Verizon's network.

unlocking att version and using tmobile rom?

Hi All!
I really want the note 5 rom. I have the att note 3. Curious, if I unlock my att to be able to be used on tmobile, will I be able to use the note 5 rom made for the tmobile note 3?
TIA
If the phone has a lockd bootloader, you cannot install cwm or twrp. You could use safestrap to install a custom rom but the custom rom cannot be based on cm or aosp. A note 5 ported for use on a note 3 may not work on the att version of the note 3.
