Does anyone know of a texting app that has a feature to schedule texts?
I used to use GOsms on my older phone. I have a need to send a group
Text (individual texts to a group of people, not iPhone type group text with everyone in one thread) everyday at a certain time.
Any suggestions?

So I'm currently using GoSMS for group messaging and it actually works pretty well for grouping up messages if I was messaged as part of a group. It uses MMS to in order to make this function possible
The problem is that performance suffers tremendously when I get several at a time. I remember driving one day when friends were texting back and forth about something and I had to stop the car because my phone was completely stuck on just managing the text messages. GPS or any other apps would not run properly during the texts
Hoping there is an alternative even if it is paid
I am wondering if there is a better third party solution for doing group texts with iphone users rather than the default mms app.
I get a TON of input lag when messages are coming, and a lot of times messages dont send and i have to resend them. Additionally sometimes incoming messages dont download properly.
Mainly I'm annoyed with the lag that seems to dominate when group messages are coming in and im trying to answer them and I'm looking for a betters solution.
Thanks!
Hi,
Really considering picking up one of these watches. I currently have a smartwatch but its not android wear and never used android wear because most stores its in demo mode.
Question
1) can you receive group mms text messages on the moto 360? and if so, can you reply to all?
2) if you receive a picture SMS text, are you able to view the picture on the watch?
Thanks..
I'm not sure about the answer to your first question, since I don't get a lot of group texts, but picture messages/MMS are viewable for me (at least when using Google Hangouts for texting)
Thanks. But I am actually more concerned about group text.
Group text works for chompsms but can't receive pictures.
i can only seem to be able to reply and discard texts, how can i reply if i dunno what it says? lol
Do i have to use a 3rd party text app to view them, i assumed you would be able to view them with the stock app?
Another question i have is, my girlfriend has an apple watch and on hers you can view texts etc but also within her phone she can add her own text responses for any most common things she may reply to people, how can i add others?
regards
James
what kind of texts do you mean? sms? hangouts? whatsapp?
every app acts a bit different but however, i am able to read messages in every case.
It's sms I am having issues with, I use textra on my phone
I'm running stock Oreo 8.0.0 on Samsung S9 using the bundled texting app.
When I receive group texts from an iPhone user, I only see myself as a recipient; the other recipients aren't listed.
Also when I reply to what I happen to know is a group text, my reply only goes to the sender rather than to the group members.
Is there a setting I'm missing or do I need to use a different text messaging app?
I use the default messaging app on my stock S9 (VZW) and I don't have this problem. Half my family use Android-based phones and the others use iPhones. Our group conversation work just fine. However, all of the group conversation I am involved in include people already in my contacts. I'm wondering if your missing recipients is related to who is in your contacts?

Nope, the problem shows up even with those in my contact list.
Maybe I'll try a random texting app and see what happens.
Other apps exhibit the same problem. Anyone have any insight into this problem?
