This is a continuation from my other VVM mod.
This is completely inverted and most pink is gone. I will update this thread when more pink is removed.
Install by pushing to /system/app or using root explorer, copy to /system/app/ change permissions to r-r-rw.
Update! Fixed white on white delete pop up menu!

Should be, I can go to My apps in the play store, and it doesnt show up to be updated.

Ya know after looking it over and thinking about, the remaining pink looks good. I have no problem with the glasses and T-Mobile logo being pink. Coupled with the black, it looks sexy. Just a thought.

Ya, I dont mind a little pink as well. Just a couple little things left. For the most part it will stay the same. Thanks for the input.
very nice works great only problem when u choose to delete message shows white on white so u cant see which is ok and which is cancel

Doesnt show up for me. I deleted old one and installed from market, and shows as the same version. If you have it, upload it so i can grab it please.

I'm a big fan, too. It's so clean looking. The slide-out action bar is nice, too, because it keeps your folders and labels hidden but accessible. Thumbs up, Google!

You don't have to with the newest update. You just have to pull down and it'll automatically refresh.
It's really awesome and faster than before! I love it!

I believe so.....I just installed normally and nothing was granted superuser during it

I like it so far. Hangouts, sms, and mms work, but it force closes on me when I try to start a video call. Anyone have that working? (Dirty Unicorns 4.3.1)

Rename to .so (from .txt) drop into /system/lib/ and edit permissions. I also have one in the same place with fixed permissions as a .txt cause I'm crazy lazy, didn't seem to hurt it. Lol.
To change permissions u have to be rooted I believe dont u?

When you first open hangouts after the updated it will ask you if you wanted to integrate sms / hangouts together.
A couple of us here at work updated and it updated us with 1.2 still lol. Found an APK download somewhere. Works great! Glad the fiddling and fidgeting is gone. Now if only it had Hangouts/SMS thread integration like iMessage
I tried the apk that was posted and it worked. However...I'm stock not rooted. I can't see that being good. It's not official from Google?

Same exact thing just happened to me, not 5 minutes ago.
Downloaded the file @millerd79 linked and all is well. Finally, MMS pics send without freezing the app. There are also many more sources to choose from when browsing for the pic.

Sad that there's no widget T_T
I love it. But lightflow doesn't play friendly with the notifications. Nor does stock contacts app when you change message ringtone for people. Doesn't work. Because these features are probably setup for the stock messenger which hangouts is taking over.
