Hey?
I have trouble to get the ok google hotword correctly to work. It's only working on homescreen. I have installed nova launcher prime and setup everything correctly I guess.
Help would be appreciated.

Hello All....I cannot get any of my Page Buddys to come up. For example, the S Pen Page Buddy does not come on when I remove the S Pen, and the Earphones Page Buddy does not display when I plug headphones in.
I went to Settings - Display - Page buddy, and I ensured it was turned on and checkmarked, yet nothing happens when I plug in head phones or remove the S Pen. Has anyone seen this happen before?
I'm running the stock unrooted ATT android version 4.1.2. Everything else is working perfect on this phone.
Thanks for any help and advice.
-Mike-
Not making any assumptions here, are you using Touchwiz, or have you installed a 3rd party launcher like nova or apex?
It only works on stock launcher. Touchwiz

Ahhhh....that's it. I'm using the Nova Launcher Premium (which I like very much). I temporarily went back to Touchwiz and the page buddy worked. I'm back at Nova Launcher again. I like the Nova Launcher too much to switch back to Touchwiz. Thanks all for your help!

I need to find a way to undo my page buddy because it launches a default player now that I no longer want to use. I can't get it turned off.

I have the Go Launcher Weather Widget running on Nova but it seems I always have to update the app manually. I have checked my settings and it updates the location just not the temperature.. is it because Im not using the correct launcher? I like Go Launcher because it is really simple and clean.
Any suggestions?

Hi everyone, I just bought my g pro for about a week now n I discovered a very annoying problem!
I m currently using nova launcher, it's very smooth except when some kind of apps being installed and running. I dunno how to name this kind of apps. These apps are for example sidebar, swapps, floating notification, glovebox, swipe home or even the Facebook messenger chat head. When these apps re activated, the launcher will lag in home screen, but when u open the other apps or the app drawer, they re actually smooth, the lag will only exist in home screen. It is not only in nova launcher cut also other launcher even the lg launcher..
Do u guysn hv this problem?
How can i solve that?
Sorry for my bad English but reli need some help

I dont have any lag at all on stock launcher. Possibly you could clear the cache and resolve this. Or a factory reset. On some androids ive even heard of pulling the battery to do a hard shutdown has given desirable effects when having lag problems though I dont know why that would work. Hope you get it solved.
Not only me having this problem but my friend too
He is not using the g pro buy instead gk
So I think it maybe a rom bug

What part of the world are you located? It could be a thermal issue. Also do you have the cup optimization setting turn on?

I tried the other method on xda and notice that Google now was freezing up on voice command. Here is the method that got it fully working on my Verizon Galaxy Note 3
1. Download and extract the two files.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/j8h0siy229ixsni/4.4 launcher.zip
2. Install both apk files
3. Enjoy
Update: If you are having trouble getting the "Ok Google" voice activation to work, here is something to try.
1. In the Google launcher, go into settings > voice > offline speech recognition.
It may say there are no language packages installed, but in reality, it just needs to be updated. It seems to be buggy, but this is how I got it updated.
2. Select the "all" tab.
3. Install the English (us) package if it will let you.
If it doesn't, download English (UK), select the "installed" tab, and the us package should now show up as installed. To make sure the English (us) is updated, simply uninstall and download it again.
Once this is updated, you should be able to press the home button and see "OK Google" in the Google now search bar. Hope this helps!
Does this include Google now on the home screen like on the Nexus 5?

If you move an icon or widget to the next screen, it will add a screen. To have additional screens, you have to have something on it. If they are blank, they are deleted.
Awesome ... thank you for the info. Great find this launcher is butter

I certainly see this being a love/hate thing. I like more control of my launcher, so I am sticking with Nova. I do like the swipe to Google Now and the "Ok Google" options, though. I setup a gesture in Nova for Google Now, but don't know of any solutions for the "Ok Google" option. I would LOVE to be able to get the "Ok Google" to work with the phone on or off.
I like this launcher, it does run very smooth but I ended up going back to Nova. I like a little more customization with my launcher and Nova Prime gives me everything I could need and more. It is still a nice launcher though, to bad it doesn't have some more options.
Love it. Had some problems with it crashing or google search crashing randomly so I tried some of the version on the market which are quite good. Some little stability fixes for devices and such but for the most part 100% AOSP.
I was able to install this on my note 3, but I wasn't able to install the 2nd APK. Also, the notification bubbles no longer show up on my email, messages, Facebook, etc..... Does anyone know what could be wrong? I am not rooted.
Notification bubbles are a touchwiz feature that's why they don't show up

I have the same issue with Nova Launcher after updating OTA to v50020b. They appear correctly in the stock launcher but not in Nova. For me it affects Calendar, E-mail, LG Backup, Memo, Task Manager, Voice Mate, Voice Recorder and Weather. The apps still work OK, just a bit annoying that the icons don't show properly. Anyone have any ideas how to fix it?
