[Q] Can I flash to Sprint? (Rooted Full S-OFF, CM 7.2) - Droid Incredible Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I can't seem to google anything on this, all the stuff is flashing Sprint to Verizon..
But I want to sign up for the Freedom pop completely free deal (BYOD) and I need to flash to sprint..
Anyone got a link with working flashable .zip (Assuming I can simply flash it in CWM Recovery), or is this even possible?
Edit: It looks like a Need a Phone Unlock Key (PUK). I guess you have to buy these, since I doubt freedompop has reachable customer service.. I was hoping for a FREE option, I'm sure there has to be one?

Cricket Flash on a Sprint phone

Tomorrow I am going to have my Sprint phone flashed to work on the Cricket network. I just need to understand something. Once this is done is it written to the hardware? If I remove and install the OS several times am I going to have to go and pay to have Cricket flashed on it again? $85 is steep. Right now I am using the DCD ROM, but I may try newer roms in the future. Is there a way I can do this myself? Also will this flash allow the GPS, MMS, and internet work?
Thanks
What phone are we talking about here?
the Sprint mogul. has the dcd 3.2.2 Rom

[Q] Losing your service provider flash

I have a Droid incredible that is currently on revol service not Verizon . I want to use a new Rom because I am currently using a stock Rom ... but will I lose my flash setting for revol if I use one of these roms .....will I have to pay to get my phone flashed again. I have been searching for a answer all day ..
I don't think you would, unless you were to flash back to stock. When you flash a new rom, you don't have to reactivate the phone, just put your google info in again. So my guess would be no, but I'm not 100% sure about that, maybe another more knowledgeable member can give you a definite answer.
Well, not sure about revol but I have a Dinc flashed to MetroPCS and I do not lose my flash when I install a new rom. I DO however lose MMS and internet which I have to reset after every install but no biggie. You should be OK...

[Q] Cant switch Rooted Evo to another account.

Now that I am with AT&T, I have no use for my Evo. Well, a good friend at work dropped her evo and cracked the screen. Long story short, I gave her my old Rooted evo but we ran into a problem. When she went to have it activated on her account, they couldn't get a certain star code to work in order for her to either retrieve or enter some information. (IDK, I wasn't there). The rep on the phone said it was due to the fact that it was rooted with a "cooked" ROM. So, my first question is 1. Does anyone have or know of a rom that I can flash that wont cause this issue when she tries to activate it on her account again and 2, If not, does anyone have an RUU file with a shipped rom because all the links I have found no longer work. Thanks.
What ROM was on the phone?
You have to be running a Sense ROM in order to activate, use the dialer functions, update profile and PRL. Just flash a stock rooted ROM and it'll be fine. Here is a stock rooted ROM from Captain Throwback. It's based on the most recent software update.

Also, here are the RUU files for the EVO, should you decide to go that route, instead.

Can't activate SPHL-520 with custom rom

I'm looking for all the help I can get.
I have a Sprint GS4 mini and I got this for my girl. all my phones I've always picked it up directly at sprint so it was always activated so I wasn't away that I would have problems activating her phone that I bought online.
Trying to be proactive so once I gave her the phone nothing would need to be done. I rooted it and installed a custom rom so I could have the bloatware and everything setup nicely for her.
I found out they can't activate it because of the custom rom and it didn't have the sprint PRL. I know the easy answer would be to flash stock, but the 1 stock file that's floating around online does not work, it crashes in ODIN.
I have the Dev of the ROM working with me but i'm hoping to help him and me by putting this out to everyone to see if anyone has any thoughts or a good stock firmware.
Also is it possible for anyone running SPHL-520 to upload a nandroid w/o Data so I can try to restore. I'm lost on what I can do now.
Thanks guys.

Has anyone rooted a Bell Canada HTC 10?

Hi everyone,
I've been researching for a couple days and I'm pretty much ready to root my phone. I have the Bell Canada version. All I want to do is unlock the bootloader, root it, and install Xposed. From what I can tell, I shouldn't have any problems. But I've been seeing a lot about the radio not working, and I'm concerned I might be screwing myself since there is no RUU for the international version of the HTC 10. Which means, as far as I can tell, that if I screw up my phone there's no going back. I haven't seen many threads addressing specifically the Bell/international version, so I want to be clear before I try anything. I have much experience rooting phones, but I'm new to HTC and it seems much more complicated and risky.
So I have a few questions:
- Has anyone successfully rooted the Bell/international variant of the HTC 10 without issues or radio loss?
- Further, has anyone gotten Xposed framework working?
- Is there a way to revert the phone back to stock/fully functioning in the case that the radio stops working or some other problems arise?
Thanks in advance.
I plan on getting one soon and root it. Would be fun to know if someone did it already.

Were you guys able to root and/or flash a ROM on the Bell model?
I am running Leeroid ROM on my Bell HTC 10. Very easy. Unlock bootloader, install twrp with fastboot and you're gold
Xposed works great too. Never had an issue with radio since rooting. I do have a minor problem which only started happening since i removed the rom encryption and my lte wont work until i go into mobile networks and reset apn to default. Once i do that my lte works like normal until i reboot and have to repeat the 10 second process.
And you can always save a twrp backup of your stock ROM if you want to go back.
sweet, thanks for confirming! Did you manage to get a Sharp display by chance? I have a feeling that literally all of the Bell ones are of Tianma.
Bell user here. I'm on stock rom with latest update with some mods. Phone runs pretty good now,
1.90.666.4 OS
Sunshine > $25 dollar paypal (S-OFF)
TWRP for recovery
AcoustiX_Audio_ZeroInfinity_v30 (make speaker louder)
ElementalX-HTC10-0.25-Sense (Plus $3.00 EX Kernal Manager Paypal)
Tweaked_pnp_thermal_ivicask_v19
I've rooted my HTC 10 using sunshine. I'm currently on Leedroid's ROM.
As anyone successfully restored to stock? I need to do so to unlock. I want to use a different SIM.
There was a bell ruu somewhere around. Just run that and you'll be back to full stock.
Do you have a link?
No but @xunholyx might be able to help
I have the 2.41.666.3 RUU. You can download it here.
Thanks a lot. I also need a stock recovery. Is it included?
Yes. RUUs always contain the stock recovery. They restore everything to stock. Also, it will wipe your phone, so backup anything you don't want to lose.
