Hello!
I wanted a little talk on the Rom CM10 ported to Nokia XL. I was searching for the lollipop themes for the cm10 but ended up seeing loads of lollipop themes for cm11. I had installed the cm11 before, but because of the camera and rotation bug I was not able to use it for like 6hrs. So just ended up flashing cm10 again. But I want a lollipop look on it. I couldn't find a single theme of lollipop for cm10 just ONLY one kitkat theme for it was good. And I also want the status bar to be like kitkat.
So anyone which can help me in this situation will be really appreciated.

You should look to get a different base since this is not so common. Also is this the xperia look you are trying to get? There are a few roms in the rom section that has a fully themed xperia look. Check it out.

There are none that i know of. The only thing is to individually look for some of the settings. Like there is 1 for lockscreen and the apps but that's all i know of and i have been on here for a while. While i am a fan of the xperia themes they are not all the great in terms of performance with the phone. The stock or AOSP stuff are usually the best you will get. Some of the xperia mods have been known to cause FC closure on some apps.
The latest firmware also is still not supported properly for mods. As you can see in the rom dev section they are all using older bases. The new rom only came out a few days now soo development for it won't be here yet. I suggest you try back the Chaos HD but ask for detailed instuructions for it.
I am using ultimarom by the way. Very awesome and you should give it a try.

Can anyone tell me which kk custom rom is best, stable and bug free ?
Try them until you find one you like.. If stability is your main concern though, a touchwiz kk ROM would be a better choice

Use cm 10. It is modded from stock aosp and is better than aosp. The porting part is a little difficult. I myself tried porting several times bot never made it through bootloop. If you dont like cm10 try minirom kitkat. It is also jellybean but themed like kitkat and is the closest to aosp as it gets

You can try MiniRom Kitkat Wannabe for Nokia X /XL. it is working fine for me from last 1 months.
Also once you are on custom rom you can use themes or XPOSED framework or any other launcher to customize the UI.

Thanks Man
I Was Looking For This For A Long Time....
Much Appreciated :good:
I am looking for a 4.4.2 or 4.4.4 rom (NOT 5.0!). I just rooted my g3 and I flashed bliss and resurrection 5.0 and I just don't like 5.0 at all. I"m wanting a rom that's themable (like cm12) and that the knock on/off feature still works on the phone. I just need suggestions. I have been looking through the thread for like a hour lol. I also want if possible something that's kept up to date. I noticed a lot of the 5.0 are up to date. I am back to stock rooted now. I just love to themable roms! Thanks in advance!

cm12 is lollipop, cm12 IS theme able. cm12 has the support for knock. Kk is a thing of the past.
Is cm12 stable? Are there any good Roms that support knock on that are cm12 based.
hi guys, my friend want me to reset his gnex, i had it long time ago, and for me the best and smoothest rom was stock 4.1.2. i flashed paranoid kitkat rom for him ,but is not as fast or stable as 4.1.2.

All ROMs - both official builds from Google and Custom ROMS from our talented developers here on XDA - have bugs. Just a fact of digital life!
If you want the most stable build available, you're probably best served by Google's official releases. Scroll down for the different GNex versions/links.
If you want Lollipop, check out the Android Development board. Plenty of great developers and ROMs to chose from there. I have a 5.1 ROM linked in my signature below, as well.

thanks for the answer. i will try this 5.1 rom. Some roms have little bugs, and others like lollipop roms make the device not good for daily driver, like the camera not saving pictures, green lines on video etc. i will try some roms and leave the most stable on his device, but i think i will flash 4.1.2 in the end.

I've tested out many of the newest ROM'S and I'm still not impressed with the overall functionality of them when compared to the 4.1.2 PA ROM I've been running for over 2.5 yrs now.
The following is the files/order I flash in Clockworkmod:

Man this device was a pain for me today. after wiping to install 4.1.2 the device disconnected. and the usb connector i think is faulty. i had to flash every bit of rom in fastboot and a lot of errors. so i installed 4.0 rom because system.img was smaller and took a lot of time to copy the 300mb file and finally the device booted. i ota to 4.1.1 and i think i will ota manually to 4.1.2 because on device already appeared 4.2.2 ota. do you think is worth update all the way to 4.3? the device is smooth and i like the camera app better than 4.2 rom with that awful lag to rotate. do you think is better have an updated device or keep it in 4.1.2?
AOSP Lollipop 5.1- a wee better than stock is the best lollipop I could find yet. It is near-stock Android, and the overall performance is very good comparing it to the age of this device. The only bad thing I can say about this device isbthat the battery is draining faster(it might be an issue with my phone). If you are brave enough(such brave, much wow), you can try to overclock to 1.5 and the performance will improve by a lot
