How the heck do you turn the camera location off? I cannot find the setting. All my photos I take have my location.

How do you turn the screen off for time lapse?
Not quite understanding you here.
Do you mean where you can find the option on how quick the screen turns off or for a specific app that use the time lapse technology?

Yes I think thats what i mean... ICVS comes with an updated camera that lets you do time lapse photography.... but when the camera is in operation the screen stays on and does not turn off thereby wasting battery....is there any way to have the screen turn off to save battery!
I would like to know the answer to this too. I want to be able to turn my screen off while a time exposure is recording.
To me it seems like a flaw that when turning the screen off, the time lapse video shuts off. I'd like to be able to create long time lapse videos, but with the screen on constantly, you'd need a power source for videos of any length
Bacon Camera can take timelapse images while the screen is off

Hi, I have a very weird problem with my N7100. When I put my finger or anything in front of my front camera, the toggle bar will disappear and the screen will be still and no response. This is really bothering especially when I am playing games. Cause I swipe my finger in front of my front camera unpurposely and the game will be interrupted. It looks like the front camera is active to detect anything in front it, and if there is any thing blocking front camera, the screen will be frozen up!
This problem start with my official system (Samsung Touchwiz) comes with N7100. So I rooted my phone and put alliencerom there, it comes back again....If you restart the system, it goes away for a while and will come back sometime. Really bothering, I have found out what is the trigger, I believe there is a trigger though.
So I don't know any N7100 user encountered the same problem? And any idea about getting rid of it?
Thanks so much!

I checked all those and they are off, I actually never turned them on. Today I found that after I use groove ip make a phone call. The problem will come up. I don't know exactly how.....
I test it a little and I found it is the function of Groove IP which freeze the screen when you are making a call. But somehow after you done with your call, the front camera just keeps doing so. I think there is something with screen rotation during the call.
Now I think problem solved by checking off "auto rotate" in Groove ip setting.
Thanks, XDAer.
Hi,
When I take pictures with the S6, the setting displays completely fine in the viewfinder (aka screen), but when the picture is saved it is several degrees darker.
Have tried with HDR on and off, and also with the front facing camera, same problem.
Have anyone else have this issue with the S6 (Edge)?

As a matter of fact, adaptive brightness was enabled. When I disabled it the pictures look as good as they should in the gallery.
Don't know if the camera disables adaptive brightness, appears like that.
Thanks for the help!

Not a disaster but really got me curious.
I looked everywhere. There is always a user guide for the rear camera, never for the front as far as I could find. I just want to know what is that first option in the front camera settings. What does it do? (icon of hand holding phone and an arrow)?
Take a picture with front facing camera, then bring the phone down and it will automatically show the preview of the pic you took, that's If you have it "ON".
On the other hand, if its " OFF", there is no automatic preview.
Hope it helps =)
