Sorry to say this fix didn't work for me I am intalled the latest nightly and then Installed the gps fix tried a couple of times

I tried this on a fresh flash of cm-11-20140804-SNAPSHOT-M9-ls980 and my GPS worked great all day. I've been waiting so long for this, Thank you!!!!! I'm going to test this on some other stuff to see how it works out. Thanks again.

I couldn't post this elsewhere because I'm a new member. I thought this would help others. I finally got fed up with trying diff roms and apps attempting to fix the gps to no avail. So I popped the back off my ls980 and found the gps antenna connections. I stripped a piece of copper wire from an old hdmi cable and twisted it securely around the bottom connection. I popped the back back on making sure the wire was not touching anything other than plastic and now my gps locks within seconds and stays locked.

Wifi Always in use
Great rom, very smooth during normal usage for me. Only thing I've noticed is that after doing the wifi fix, my wifi arrows are always lit along with a 30% or so battery drain. Anyone else notice this as well?
Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 SM-T310, been running FastDream for a day. I made sure to kill all running apps before I went to bed, using Advanced Task Killer.
Sm-t310 test
Seems great the ROM. Im going to check it out on my SM-T310 WIFI. I saw people having problems with the SM-T311 & SM-T315. Im going to let you guys know if this works as it says.

Hi, I installed this Rom togheter with Boeffla Kernel and I am loving it. However long pressing the home button does not call the task manager. Am I missing something?
Charging Issue
Hi All,
Let me first say thanks for all your work and that I'm an adventurous newbie finding my way around "Beanstalk". I have an issue I can't figure out. When I shut my tablet off (GT5100) and charge it, the battery indicator light comes on and does not turn off. As a result the tablet heats up. If I leave the tablet on and charge it and turn the screen of there's no problem, no heat and it charges up just fine. Is there a setting to turn off the charging indicator when the tablet is off?
Thank you again............Tom

I've installed this initial release, and most important things (minus the known issues) seem to be working great. Would love to see hardware key customization make its way back, which I am confident must be on its way in the near future.
One issue I am having, though, has to do with streaming videos. I have the NHL GameCenter Live app, but when I go to stream live games, I get the audio just fine, but am given green screen as the video. Any thoughts on this? Being Windows user, my mind immediately wonders if there is a codec that I need; however, I admit that I do not know much about how this stuff works on Android.
Thanks for your work and help with my issue!

Smart Remote

Could be, this phone had to have had one of the longest runs as far as developing is concerned. Now with Sprint on the verge of doing away with WiMaX, I think it's a safe best that this phone will finally be laid to rest lol

Well it makes for one hell of a smart remote. I keep mine in the living room and use it to cast and control my TV. I installed an app to disable the cellular radio to save the battery. It's great to have a full keyboard on the remote you are using.
