Meh...I'll pass. CM lost a lot of respect with their corporate crap. Wouldn't surprise me if CM13 comes with a price tag.

No music player crashes here, did you try going into developer options and see if nu player is on or off?

Not sure the difference, just read a lot of people with it on have problems. Try turning it off and see if issue continues.
So what, if anything, is busted? I've been kicking around the idea of flashing cm12 but I can't find a general thread about what works and what doesn't.
Surely it isn't perfect right out the box?

I haven't had any problems really, when they finally released the first nightly cm posted that they were already 85% to where they wanted to be , and that the first m release isn't far off.
Just read that on the last build they put theme engine in.

I've been running unofficial cm12 then official cm 12 as my daily drivers and its been very stable. The camera is not up to par with TW and iphone cameras but its pretty solid. Not a single random reboot or freezing. Only minor issue is some old ringtones might not play so it switches to default.

CMFileManager.zip
I managed to extract this from the latest CyanogenMod nightly...I'm currently using this on Liquid Jelly Bean RC7. I'm going to be working on an inverted version today, so we'll see where that goes.
Flash in recovery mode! I already tested the zip and it should work 100% fine...

Here's an update on the inverted CM File Manager. It's coming along nicely, but i think i hit a bump in the road....
1) That pop-up dialog will not turn black for the life of me!
2) Settings text is black and can't figure out why yet lol
These are the only two obstacles left....if ANYONE has an idea feel free to let me know lol

No, i didn't try this method. Because i was sure it will not work. It's a shame for jelly but their 4.2 is a best among custom roms for nitro. We should wait until the do something with 4.3 for nitro.
Here is a link for JellyBam bug tread. If someone wants to have a talk with jelly team http://www.bam-android.com/showthread.php?837-Jellybam-10-1-won-t-boot-on-LG-Nitro-(P93X)/page2

Strange problems with jellybam are the reasons I stopped using it months ago, still no change. The GENUINE PACROM runs pretty well even though the 4.3 version does have an issue with not seeing my old photos in gallery, at least it boots. . The latest 4.2 version is marvelous. I guess that's the benefit of going with the original instead of a copy cat, IMO.

I can't use any CM10.x based ROM because of the camera exif issue. Even though I have mentioned it in several threads and even submitted a bug report. However, all the devs at CM have ignored me thus far.
Tried jelly 10.3. Works good for an 1 hour.
Anyone still have a Jellybam 9.2? I get tons of random reboots & shutdowns in 1.0.0 RCx.. Please just anyone

Just flashed [ROM][4.4.2] HellFire™KITKAT 2.8 and now this to my card. I use as DD my S4 stock for now. So my S3 is my rooted monster and test w/WiFi only. Good for me however bad for when everyone is asking about data. Your HF is the only 4.4.2 that camera worked is great because I can only use the camera in the field so it and WiFi are all I need working. I'm going to run HF today and maybe install this later either way I'll have it and glad I can still be 4.4.2.

I just tried it on Hellfire too, and couldn't get my BT media to connect to anything. Only the phone part would connect then cycle on and off. Hmm, just started using SlimKat yesterday...I still have lots of backups around, so I might give this a go, especially since it seems to pull in quite a bit from Slim and other ROMS.
Very Nice!
...and it's a good Spirit!:highfive:
Love the way this ROM is laid out.....best of Slim and others that seems to work well together. AND.....themes.
Thanks devs

Ditto. Testing now, and so far, so good.
Been using this since last night. So far the most stable and solid 4.4.4 ROM I've used ever. Excellent work.
Forgot to add....I used Slim minimal gapps without problems. Still quick, solid, and stable. Battery also good.

Are you using a custom kernel, e.g. BMS?

Not yet. Giving the stock kernel a chance to see what it will do. Got BMS ready if needed.

Everything working great for me. I'll keep this one. Of course I'll be flashing but this will be my backup now.

Only issue I've had so far is one random reboot, running just Baidu browser and one other app.

None here. I did clean install, slim gapps, and stock kernel.

I decided to try the recommended Banks Gapps to start. If the reboots recur I may change.
I haven't been able to get Hover to work yet. I have it turned on, but notifications are showing only in the status bar. Have others gotten it to work with this Rom? Is there another setting I need to make?
